Director
Mary Elysse Santa
Mary Elysse is the director of this play, and she's glad you're in the theatre today. She's a graduate of Regent and WCU, and is glad to be sharing Seussical with you. This is her first year directing at COA, and this Seuss-ified show is her 24th play. As a young actor she first played a small Who, and she's so very proud of what her new team can do!

Music Director (Jungle of Nool)
Traniqua Felton
Traniqua M. Felton is a co-musical director, and she sincerely hopes that you'll accept her. She's a Music Therapy graduate of East Carolina University, and believes that you'll truly enjoy this play's diversity. This is also her first time ever co-musically directing a musical, and she's very glad that for very first one is "Suessical". She wears a necklace daily that reads "Oh! The places you'll go!", in honor of her love for Dr. Seuss, and the things that she know. She's an elementary music teacher by day, and a sincere lover of theater, okay? She hopes she'll be able to have this wonderful experience again, please sit back, and enjoy this show until then!

Music Assistant
Sandra Krueger
Sandra can help you in a class or two, and help you discover what songs mean to you! She’s been with this college for almost eight years, teaching her students to open their ears and evaluate music, the large and the small. Come take her classes! You’ll just have a ball! She’s an opera singer, but don’t stop and stare; she’s quite happy now as Miles Clark Endowed Chair.

Costumer
Marti Windram
Recently retired to Elizabeth City, Marti finds musicals oh so pretty. She learned how to sew when only a child, and Seussical costumes are crazy and wild. But sewing them up is really quite fun, and Marti will be very glad when they’re done. For Horton and Gertrude and Mayzie and six Bird Girls all, a person’s a person, no matter how small!
