Anastasia Cast

Flynn Johnston (Young Anastasia)
S. Yvonne Bayardi '26 (Dowager Empress)
A chronic fan of musicals, this is Yvonne’s 3rd Spring Musical and 6th CBA show. She is thrilled with this year's musical choice and has been manifesting Anastasia for her senior show since her sophomore year. She wants to thank Mr. Calimlim and Ms. Corey for still doing it despite her nagging. Playing her first musical lead, she is incredibly excited to take a break from the tedium of Model UN, replacing it with lounging in the PAC, organizing the costume shack, and being in this show “by a thread.”
Julia Messina '26 (Tsarina Alexandra)
Julia first joined the Spring Musical junior year in the production of Footloose as an ensemble member. She has always enjoyed musical theater and was in Lion King Jr and Destiny in junior high. She has always loved singing, and has been in chorus since the 7th grade. After high school Julia will be pursuing nursing, and doesn't know exactly where, but knows she wants to go south! She’s beyond grateful for all the people behind the scenes who make the shows possible! And is very thankful for all the laughs, unforgettable memories, and amazing friendships Brothers Drama has given her along the way!!
Will Radford '26 (Tsar Nicholas/Count Ipolitov)
Will is thrilled to appear in his final high school production as Tsar Nicholas II/Count Ipolitov. He first joined CBA theater in 8th grade, and after spending three years running sound for Sister Act, One Stoplight Town, and Mamma Mia!, he switched to cast his junior year and never looked back. His favorite characters have been in his two Fall Dramas, playing Matthew Harrison Brady (Inherit the Wind) and his first-ever role, Mr. Roeder (Radium Girls). CBA theater has been the highlight of Will’s high school experience, and he is so grateful for the friends he has made and the family he has found. After high school, Will is planning on majoring in History at hopefully a reputable university. Will would like to thank Ms. Corey for encouraging him to switch from crew to cast, Mr. Calimlim for all the good times (especially NYSTEA!), his mothers for their constant support, and, of course, Ryan Bannon.
Tamera Jones (Olga Romanov)
Helen Lam '26 (Tatiana Romanov)
Helen is a senior who first joined CBA theater last year as a junior by a very persuasive conversation with her friend. She then went to star as Marie Curie in Radium Girls (haunting part 1!) and has since fallen in love with the community. She started off her career in spring musicals as a member of ensemble during Footloose. She then goes on to star as Rachel Brown (Inherit the Wind) and will be ending her musical career here at CBA as Tatiana Romanov (haunting part 2!!). Though she will not be majoring in anything theater related, she hopes to do more shows in the future!
Claire Ashe '26 (Maria Romanov)
Claire is beyond excited to waltz into her second CBA musical production as Maria Romanov! After having the time of her life in the Footloose ensemble last year, she knew she had to get her best friends Rowan and Sadie in on the action this year. The cast and crew have made this experience (that is still kind of newish to Claire, despite starring in Hansel and Gretel 8 years ago with Jackson Finn) so amazing! After high school, Claire plans to put her creativity to work and study fashion marketing! Her time with the CBA Performing Arts has been nothing short of incredible, filled with so many smiles, laughs, and of course, snacks. She would like to thank everyone who has worked so hard to make this show a possibility!
Ian George (Alexei Romanov)
Ryan Bannon '26 (Gleb Vaganov)
Ryan Bannon is excited to be performing for you in his final high school production. Ryan has been involved in theater for the past two years as a result of his 10th grade Chemistry teacher and director; Ms. Corey. Ryan began his journey with Radium Girls, his very first show. From there, he continued to step out of his comfort zone in Footloose, Inherit the Wind, and finally Anastasia. Each production has pushed him to grow in new ways; stretching from the wide-eyed innocence of Tom Kreider in Radium Girls to the steadfast determination of Tom Davenport in Inherit the Wind. Along the way, Ryan has had a Tom; sorry, ton; of fun making memories on and off the stage. Throughout his time in the program, Ryan has cherished the friendships, late-night Tech Week rehearsals, and cheesy music stand jokes that make theater so special. He is incredibly grateful to all the teachers, castmates, and family for their constant support, time, and encouragement to do something he never thought he could. Theater has become a second home for Ryan, and he is proud to close out his senior year surrounded by such a talented and dedicated community. Ryan also wants to give a special shoutout to his best buddy, Will Radford, for joining the cast with him and for never failing to put a smile on everyone's face. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Sadie Wichmann '26 (Odette)
This is Sadie’s first time participating in a CBA musical! She usually sticks to purely dancing, but after hours of convincing from Claire and Kayla, she decided to take part in the singing and acting side of things. She is so happy she said yes! After high school, Sadie is planning to major in both biology and dance in college. She wishes she could say what college she’ll end up at, but she doesn’t even know herself! She would like to thank her family and friends for their endless support. She would also like to thank all of CBA theatre for giving her an amazing first and last experience!
Camille Klaben (Siegfried)
Kayla Cecilia '26 (Von Rothbart)
Kayla is a senior and this is her third CBA spring musical. She was a featured dancer in Mamma Mia! and an ensemble member in Footloose. Kayla is looking forward to studying nursing next year in college. Kayla wants to thank everyone who has supported her through her performances, especially her parents and sister. She would also like to thank Mr. Calimlim, Mrs. Ciereck, Ms. Corey, Dr. Moore, and Mr. Davis for everything they have done for her and for all of the CBA theatre department. Lastly, she would like to thank all of her castmates and everyone who has made her Brothers Drama experiences so fantastic.
Sophie Brewster (French Press Member)
Caitlyn Eng '26 (German Press Member)
This is Caitlyn's first, and sadly last, CBA musical. She did musicals in elementary school and a production of Newsies in the summer after 9th grade, but usually she sticks to singing and has been in chorus since eighth grade, Select Chorus since tenth, and had a short lived band career in seventh! After high school, Caitlyn is going to The George Washington University in Washington, DC to study public health and policy! She will definitely continue theater and singing on the side and wants to learn piano and guitar, as well as relearn oboe. Caitlyn would like to thank her friends Lily Beale-Gleason, Declan Martin, Spencer and Kennedy Perrigo, Izzy Lance, Sophie Brewster, and Zach Curle, as well as Dr. Moore, Mr. Calimlim, Ms. Corey, Mr. Davis, and Mrs. Ciereck for their support and for making this show so much fun!

Rowan Doyle '26 (Ensemble/Passenger)
Rowan is fulfilling her years-long promise to join the musical in her last year at CBA, despite her unfortunate lack of singing and dancing talent. She may not have a large role, but she’s working hard to remember her steps and notes on stage. Rowan has loved her experience in CBA theatre this year. She will attend Princeton University in the fall, where she intends to major in a field in the humanities. Rowan plans to take her new theatrical skills with her!

Alaia Nizar '26 (Ensemble/Featured Dancer)
Though this is only Alaia’s second show, she has always loved musical theatre. The fun from Footloose made Alaia come back for Anastasia and she is so glad she did. Making new friends, dancing(s/o gym class scene), and yapping backstage are some of her favorite memories from the musical. Alaia will be attending Boston College and majoring in political science. She would like to thank Mr. Calimlim, Ms. Corey, and Mrs. Ciereck, for making the shows such a great experience. “Thank you for the music” CBA!!
