A Christmas Carol Cast
Oliver Lopez (Ebenezer Scrooge)Oliver is a senior and is thrilled to be able to play in such a fun show. Oli participated on the technical side for multiple shows including ANATOMY OF GRAY and designing Sound for performances such as DON'T YELL FIRE IN A THEATER and A NIGHT OF ONE ACTS. His first High School acting experience was in MARIAN: OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD as the Sheriff of Nottingham where he had nothing but the best of times. He is excited to see where the future takes him and what opportunities will appear. He has made true friends and grown so much throughout his time in Drama and hopes to grow even further.
David Collin IX (Bob Cratchit)David is a sophomore and this is his second play here in the Black Box. David is also a baseball player that enjoys writing, reading, and singing, which has him participating in Dynamics and Chorale. He loves to hang out with friends, wear suits and work out. He is planning to do the Spring Play and hopes to give people the best performance he can. God is good. Enjoy The Show!
Moss Roberts (Young Scrooge/Ensemble)Moss is a senior who has played Crutch in ANATOMY OF GREY and Ryder in the one act: The A.I. PLAY. He is excited to be a part of this production. He plays Varsity Lacrosse at Cheyenne Mountain and is looking forward to playing Lacrosse in college and studying art at Savannah College Of Art and Design.
Niko Reilly (Child Scrooge/Ensemble)Niko is grateful to be a part of another CMHS production. Niko has appeared on stage in Pride and Prejudice, Night of One Acts, and Anatomy of Grey in prior years, and is a member of the Advanced Acting class. He is incredibly grateful to his friends and family for putting up with his crazy schedule and his opportunity to perform once again.
Bri Froese (Mrs. Cratchit/Ensemble)Bri is a senior that is so excited for the opportunity to perform in a play with a small band and many new actors this year. She has been in every show produced at Cheyenne Mountain HS one way or another since her freshman year including Assistant Directing with Ms. Papproth on MARIAN, OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD and performing as Rebecca in ANATOMY OF GRAY last fall. Briana has also been singing and dancing in Cheyenne Mountain HS Dynamix Show Choir, Shadows Chorale, and Metallics Jazz Choir which has been keeping her busy as well. Bri is the Co-President of CMHS Drama Club, a Thespian, and a member of NHS.
Emery Jepson (Martha Cratchit/Ensemble)Emery is a junior and cannot wait to be a part of her fifth show at CMHS!! She is in the Chorale and Advanced Acting classes during the school day, and was last seen on stage in Marian, or the True Tale of Robin Hood (Tanner), Anatomy of Gray (Belva), and the first place award-winning one act, The Wild Bunch Women! Emery would like to thank Ms Papproth for making the Drama Dept. so amazing and giving us so many oppurtunities!
Makenna Perrette (Belinda Cratchit/Fan/Ensemble)is a freshman and thrilled to be a part of her first show! Inside and outside of school, she is working hard at mastering her trumpet and plays in Wind Ensemble and Jazz II. She is also proud to be a part of Cheyenne Mountain High school’s Drama Club.
Maxine Gowen (Tiny Tim)Maxine was born and raised in Colorado, Maxine fell in love with theater at a young age with the Steel City Theater Company and has continued with theater ever since. Most recently a member of the Colorado Conservatory in the musical Anastasia. They are a member of the Speech and Debate team and a member of Drama Club.
Mia Sauer (Clara/Ensemble)Mia is a sophomore and is stoked to be able to do another play. She was in Anatomy of Gray and The AI Play from the Night of One Acts last year. Mia is a member of Advanced Acting and hopes to make acting her career. She would like to thank her parents for driving her to and from school all the time because without their cooperation she would never have been able to do this.
Isaiah Helms (Fred/Ensemble)Isaiah is proud to participate in A CHRISTMAS CAROL! With previous shows under his belt, including ANATOMY OF GRAY, THE AI PLAY, and KING ARTIE AND THE KNIGHTS OF THE RAD TABLE, he is ready to perform for the public! In addition to performing with the Drama Dept., Isaiah performs in the CMHS Vocal Music Dept. He braves his sophomore year of high school with a bright smile and a humorous nature despite the challenges he faces in the year. Being cast as Fred, Isaiah connects with this character very well for his upbeat personality and charming wits. Isaiah would like to dedicate this performance to his family, the Gladiators, and his friends, the Allens and Joshua Olson. One last thing. What do you get when you cross a lion and a snowman? Charlize LeClaire (Fezziwig/Ghost of Christmas Present)Charlize is a junior and so excited to be back in the Black Box for another show! Past shows include: Marian The True Tale of Robin Hood as Alanna (CMHS), Lady Catherine Debourgh in Pride & Prejudice (CMHS), along with Anatomy of Grey, and Guys and Dolls. She has been in many short films and is working to make it on the big screen. She is repped by Formation Talent in Atlanta. She's so excited to bring the JOLLY to Christmas Present and hopes you enjoy the show!!! Come in! Come in! And know us better!
Ghost of Christmas Past/Ensemble (Wyatt Sandmann)This is Wyatt’s second year and third show with CMHS Drama. He was so beyond excited to join this wonderful cast of beyond talented actors. He was so happy to be able to step into this iconic ghostly figure and also learn how to puppet! Doing A Christmas Carol has been a dream come true for Wyatt and he cannot be more grateful to have the chance to learn this interpretation of a very well known story. He cannot wait for next semester’s show and he hopes everyone reading this enjoys the show!
Joey Hildebran (Jacob Marley)Joey is a junior and hasn’t acted since 4th grade; making this his first role in 7 years! Joey is extremely excited to be working with all of you wonderful, talented people and to get this opportunity to learn new things about theater! He is trying to get to the point where he can attend the University of Maine for an archaeology minor and afterwards may potentially seek a major in archaeology at Arizona State University. Joey is a part of and helps to run two after school clubs outside of theater including the CMHS TTRPG (Tabletop Role Playing Game)/Board Games club and the GSA (Gender Sexuality Alliance). Joey knows that he wouldn’t be at the point he is without a supportive family, friends, and peers. The only thing that Joey could say about being a part of theater and any regrets he has about joining is that it has been an absolute blast and he wishes he would have joined earlier and that for the next play he will be more than confident on auditioning.
Piper Nichols (Ensemble/Puppeteer)Piper is so excited to be a part of A CHRISTMAS CAROL. Her favorite adaptations of A CHRISTMAS CAROL include the CHRISTMAS CAROL Musical, a VHS CHRISTMAS CAROL, the book, and The Muppets Christmas Carol. This one is good too. Piper loves puppets. Her favorite puppets include those featured in THE LABYRINTH, the trolls in CINDERELLA’S CASTLE, and the muppets. This is her 4th and final year on the CMHS stage and she’s loved almost all of her time on it, having appeared in every production since TWELFTH NIGHT. Piper is the Co-President of CMHS Drama Club, a Thespian, and a member of NHS. Yes, that’s her real hair. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Bailey Brusuelas (Belle/Ensemble)Bailey is a senior and is excited to rejoin her friends on the Cheyenne Mountain HS stage! She was last seen as Sir Theo in Marian, Or The True Tale of Robin Hood, and is a proud member of Advanced Acting and Drama Club. Aidan Lapis Largent (Topper/Ensemble/Puppeteer)Lapis is a senior that is excited to contribute as much as possible to the CMHS Theatre Dept. in his Senior year. He has worked on past shows within CMHS including ANATOMY OF GREY and MARIAN, OR THE TRUE TALE OF ROBIN HOOD this year he has expanded his skill set with newfound experiences with Technical Theatre and with Theatrical Makeup. He is excited to close out his senior year with a new strong skill set within theatre!
Liam Largent (Charity Man/Ensemble)Liam is a Sophomore and a long-time resident of Colorado Springs. Liam has been a part of theatre on and off for about 4 years and is just now coming back to it. During middle school, he performed in the musical SCHOOLHOUSE ROCKY. He is an Engineering student and likes to listen to and sing music as well as play video games. He is excited to perform and be a part of this production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
Cora Stadjuhar (Charity Woman/Ensemble)Cora is excited for her first production here at Cheyenne Mountain High School! She is part of Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Chorale. Cora is an involved member of all types of performing, and greatly appreciates being able to be part of this show. She hopes to continue her performing career here at CMHS. Cora is excited to be in A CHRISTMAS CAROL.
Lincoln Helm (Dick Wilkins/Old Joe/Ensemble)Lincoln is a junior. He hasn’t done theatre in a long time. He’s excited to get back into it. Thanks to Mila for the nudge to audition!
Emmy Kindler (Mrs. Fezziwig/Ensemble)Emmy is totally psyched to be making her first high school theater appearance as the wonderfully peculiar Mrs. Fezziwig! When she's not diving into scripts, you can probably find Emmy performing as an alto in Chorale or arguing passionately in the Speech and Debate Club. She thanks her friends and family for their endless support and hopes you love the show! Break a leg, everyone!
Madilyn Pepper (Charwoman/Ensemble)Madilyn is a Junior and a member of the Advanced Acting class as well as the Tech Theatre class. She was last seen in Marian, Or The True Tale of Robin Hood as Friar Tuck and before that as Tiny in Anatomy of Gray as well as in several one acts. Madilyn is excited to be able to participate in this production of A Christmas Carol. She hopes to continue participating in theatre both on and off stage throughout the rest of her time in High School.
Makenzy Egbert (Mrs. Dilber/Ensemble/Puppeteer)Makenzy might be participating in her first production now, but it isn't her last! Playing as Mrs. Dilber and others in A CHRISTMAS CAROL she is very excited to be onstage and perform for all! She started off her acting career with simple things like Improvisation, before moving onto doing plays and larger parts.
Azara Soong (Clara's Sister/Ensemble/Choreographer)Azara is a Junior and is super excited to be a part of A Christmas Carol! She has been seen previously in Cheyenne Mountain High School's productions of Guys and Dolls and Marian, Or The True Tale Of Robin Hood as well as being on Run Crew for Pride & Prejudice. She was also seen in Schoolhouse Rock Live: Jr. This is her first time choreographing as well as helping Direct Vocal Music, which was a very exciting opportunity to experience! Azara participates in the Performing Arts with Chorale, Metallics Jazz Choir, and Advanced Acting. She hopes to continue performing and she loves it with a passion! She would like to thank Ms. Papproth for the opportunities and her family for their immense kindness and support!
RJ Huebner (Clara's Sister/Soloist/Ensemble)RJ is a senior and this is her first show. Even though she had to juggle Field Hockey with rehearsal; she is so excited to be a part of it! From 7:30-3:40 you can find RJ either doing homework for one of her AP classes, playing around on Canva, or in the Choir Room! Outside of school, she's attending club meetings, practices, games, work, events for Interact Club, making posters for Choir, and other clubs, or hanging out with her friends! Her schedule may be packed full, but she tries to put in 100% for everything she does! RJ would like to thank her parents for supporting her in all her activities and allowing her to pursue her passions. If you need some fun, creative posters, logos, or promos, she's your girl!
Sara Crozier (Business Person/Phantom/Ensemble)Sara has been homeschooled most of her early school career until the seventh grade, so she hasn’t had many theatre performance experiences. In 8th grade she was in Drama Class and participated in Speech and Drama Club. This year Sara is in the Beginning Drama Class at CMHS and is a member of Drama Club. Sara likes watching anime and doing art in her free time, as well as reading and playing video games with her best friend. She is super excited to be acting in her second ever play! (The first one being to first graders in 8th grade).
Jeffrey Torgerson (Musician - Keyboard)Jeffrey is ecstatic to be working on what is likely to be his last production. Jeffrey was Galen P. Grey in Anatomy of Gray, and had a blast filling in multiple roles during One Acts last year. Jeffrey has participated in the PPMT music competition for the past two years and most recently earned a first place, and is working towards the Concerto and International Keyboard Odyssiad® competitions in February. Jeffrey also tries to run his own landscaping business, Torgerson Handyman, on the side in order to provide services which don't cost an arm and a leg. Amidst it all, he has found a home in the Black Box and would like to thank the Drama Department for providing a moment of peace during the school day. To Reid, his family, and his friends: Thank you for putting up with the chaos which my life entails. I know my sarcasm can be annoying, and plans scattered, but your support has always meant the world!
Camille Anderson (Musician - Alto Saxophone)Camille is a senior and excited to accompany another performance. She was in the pit orchestra for Guys and Dolls her sophomore year. Camille enjoys playing Field Hockey, hiking, and competing in Track. She plans on going into the field of Sports Medicine and possibly pursuing a career in Physical Therapy.
Tiana Lucero (Musician - Flute)Tiana is a Freshman and excited to be a part of her first High School Theater performance. She loves playing her 2 main instruments, flute and acoustic guitar. She plays flute in her first year of wind ensemble but 5th year of band, piano in jazz 2, and guitar for her church. She is also a part of Choral as an alto. She hopes to continue to have the chance to work with and be a part of more CMHS Theater projects.
Ryder Lay (Musician - guitar)Ryder has played guitar before, and is a virtuoso at epics like "Row Row Your Boat," and can strum “Wonderwall.” They say he can play the air guitar well but that's still unconfirmed. As a senior, this is his first production and he is excited to take part.
Dashiell West (Musician - Clarinet)Dashiell: Male 17 seeking love. Very down to earth, has a strong heart and loves to laugh. Enjoys travel, long walks on the beach and doesn't mind a little sand in the car. Plays the clarinet and *will* perform for free.
