Director
Ms. Jodi Papproth
has been teaching Theatre at CMHS since 1994 where her classes include Drama, Advanced Acting, Technical Theatre, Theatrical Makeup and Improvisation. She is the sponsor for CMHS Drama Club and for Thespian Troupe 3811. Ms. P. graduated from Drake University in Des Moines, IA with a degree in Theatre Education and received her Master’s in Directing from Roosevelt University in Chicago. Jodi has served as President for the Alliance for Colorado Theatre (ACT) twice and has served on the Colorado Thespians Board. In 2005 ACT awarded Ms. Papproth Colorado Theatre Educator of the Year. She is a founding member of Springs Ensemble Theatre (SET) and with them has directed, acted, produced, stage managed and built many shows. Jodi has coordinated several Youth Summer Drama Camps in the Co. Springs community and currently spends part of the summer as the Drama Teacher for the Art and Acting in the Woods program at La Foret. Several of Ms. P’s students have gone on to perform in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Seattle, Minneapolis, Denver, Austin and abroad and many of her former technical theatre students are working in the professional world as set designers, light designers, scenic painters, video artists and as technical theatre professors. Ms. P loves her job and is so happy to share her passion for theatre every day with such remarkable young people. Charlie Stuhlsatz
Charlie has been a part of Tech Crew for 3 years. He was the props coordinator for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, he was backstage run crew for Elf the Musical (ference Bo), back stage run crew for two Night of One Acts, back stage run crew for Failure: A Love Story, Stage Manager for Twelfth Night, and backstage coordinator for the One Acts Competition. He is also a Co President of the Art Improvement Group, and he just got two pieces of his art put in an art show in Manitou. Charlie is a Hufflepuff.

Kaleah Trotter
Kaleah is in her senior year, a student of Snake House. They have participated as a member of Tech Crew for four years. She worked as a member of the Makeup and Backstage Run Crew for MAMMA MIA!, assisted in sound design for Failure: A Love Story and The Night of One Acts, and helped backstage in MAMMA MIA! and ELF THE MUSICAL. Kaleah has also been a part of the set construction crew for the past three years. She is a proud Thespian and would like to stay involved in the theatre community after graduation.

Eren Roach Swann
Eren has been a member of Tech Crew for 2 years. She worked on the set for MACBETH, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern, Twelfth Night, Night of One Acts, and PUFFS. Eren is doing career start for culinary, and is planning to study at Johnson and Wales in Providence, Rhode Island.

Magdalena Frouzová
Madla is an exchange student from the Czech Republic. She joined CMHS this August. Since then she’s been actively participating in the Technical Theatre class, which brings her a lot of joy. She helped to build and paint set for Twelfth Night and she made many props for The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon one act play. (She may never want to see another sock puppet in her life though!!). She also plays the trumpet in Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble. In addition to theatre and music, she enjoys various different types of art such as drawing and painting. She is also a climber and a bookworm.

Miles Young
Miles Young has been a member of Tech Crew for two years. He was the Sound Designer for ELF THE MUSICAL and FAILURE: A LOVE STORY as well as the Sound Board Op for the Night Of One Acts. Miles has also been a part of Set Construction Crew for all the shows listed above. Miles is the DM for the CMHS Dungeons and Dragons Group. Miles would like to continue with Tech Theatre after high school.

Izzy Bowring
Isabella is a Junior and has been in CMtn District 12 her entire life! Isabella has been a member of Tech Crew for 2 years. She was a part of the backstage run crew for ELF THE MUSICAL and helped to build and paint set for Failure: A Love Story. She was also a Props Designer/Creator for Twelfth Night. Izzy is a 1st chair clarinet in Wind Ensemble at CMHS and hopes to take her love of music through college! She is also wildly interested in going to college for her sketching, drawing, and painting, to become a book writer, starting with a High Fantasy series she’s been writing for 3-6 years. Oh and ... she hopes to become a doctor as well! Isabella loves working backstage and hopes to continue working for theater in the future!

Mikaela Jensen
Mikaela is in her first year of Tech Crew. She was a Props Creator and Designer for TWELFTH NIGHT and also contributed to Set Construction and Scenic Painting. Many of her props were in THE NIGHT OF ONE ACTS this year too! Mikaela is a part of the CMHS Choir singing both soprano and alto. Mikaela would like to go to college for design...the type of design is to be determined.

Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic is a 2015 original stage play by Matt Cox as a transformative and transfigured work under the magic that is US Fair Use laws. Puffs is not authorised, sanctioned, licensed or endorsed by J.K. Rowling, Warner Bros. or any person or company associated with the Harry Potter books, films, or plays. The play premiered at The People's Improv Theater on Dec. 3, 2015. It moved to the Off-Broadway theater New World Stages in 2016. The show has been praised for its comedy and staging. It was nominated for the Off-Broadway Alliance Award for “Best Unique Theatrical Experience” in 2017.
