Puffs Cast

Sam Elliott (Narrator)
Sam has been participating in theater and taking private voice lessons since they were little. They have been going to the Colorado Springs Conservatory since 2014. They started in Beginning Drama last year at CMHS and they are now in Advanced Acting. You may recognize them as one third of the Gramophone from last year's production of FAILURE: A LOVE STORY or running around telling the entire story of Cinderella in less than 3 minutes in the one-act performed last month, THE BROTHERS GRIMM SPECTACULATHON. They are also the Drama Club Co-President with their best friend Abby Ditlow. Sam has been very excited to do PUFFS for a while and is playing their dream role of the Narrator! They hope you enjoy the show!
Finley MacDonald (Wayne Hopkins)
Finley is a senior at and PUFFS is her sixth school show! She has been in MAMMA MIA!, ELF THE MUSICAL, FAILURE: A LOVE STORY, and TWELFTH NIGHT. Finley has been in Chorale for four years, Dynamix Show Choir for two years, and Advanced Acting for two years. Junior year she won the “Outstanding Supporting Actor” award at the 2022 Pikes Peak One Act competition, and most recently she won the “Outstanding Lead Actress” award at the 2023 Pikes Peak One Act competition. She wants to thank her family, her friends, her cast, tech crew, and Mrs. P for always supporting her and for providing an environment that embraces creativity and helps her improve what she’s passionate about. She is so excited to perform PUFFS, and she hopes you enjoy the show!
Addison Hansen (Megan Jones)
Addison is a sophomore and has been involved in CMHS Theatre since her freshman year in the spring play, FAILURE: A LOVE STORY. In her free time, she likes to play guitar and read cheesy romance books. Addison performed as a Captain and other ensemble roles in Twelfth Night and performed several roles in the one act Identity Play. She would like to thank her dad and her mom for encouraging her to keep auditioning and her little sisters, Ellie and Molly, for watching her shows online from Kansas. Enjoy the show!
Olivia Rossi (Oliver Rivers)
Olivia is a senior and member of Advanced Acting. She is excited to be performing in PUFFS. She has performed in School House Rock Jr. Live as an ensemble member, participated in Night of One Acts 2020, 2022, and 2023 performed in Failure: A Love Story as Moses the ball python and ensemble, and was in Twelfth Night as Valentine/Officer. Olivia volunteered at The Millibo Art Theatre during the summer, working at several Drama Day Camps. She is thankful to her parents, friends/cast and crew, and the director Ms. P for being supportive and helping her improve as an actor
Cooper Brown (Uncle Dave/Potions Teacher/Second Headmaster/Colin)
Cooper has been pursuing acting as a hobby ever since 7th grade. His first major production was ELF THE MUSICAL last year at CMHS where he performed as Charlie the Elf as well as various ensemble roles. He also performed in FAILURE: A LOVE STORY as a Cuckoo Clock and was a member of the ensemble. Cooper is active in the CMHS Choir program as a member of Slate and other choirs. Cooper is very excited for PUFFS and can't wait to perform alongside the exceptionally talented cast on stage.
Chase Bradley (Xavia Jones/Prof. McG/Prof Babble)
A native of Colorado Springs, Chase is a member of two CMHS Choirs and plays saxophone in Wind Ensemble, and Assent Big Band. While living in Japan, she appeared in productions of Lion King, Aladdin and in the Nutcracker. She has been dancing for 7 years, enjoys riding horses and is excited about being part of her 4th theatre production here at CMHS. You may remember her as Feste the Fool in Twelfth Night this year and as one third of the Gramophone in FAILURE: A LOVE STORY or as part of the Ensemble in ELF, THE MUSICAL. Morgan Byerly (Hannah Abbott/Hermeoone #2/Helga)
Morgan is a senior and is very excited to share this production with you. Morgan is a member of multiple CMHS Choirs and participated in MAMMA MIA! and ELF THE MUSICAL. She also competes on the CMtn. Equestrian Team and will be attending CU Boulder in the fall studying Political Science. Morgan would like to thank her family and friends for supporting her in everything she does.
Abby Ditlow (Leanne/Hermeoone #3/Rowena)
Abby is a sophomore in and has been a part of the CMHS theatre community for two years. She is in the Advanced Acting class this year and she is Drama Club Co-President with her best friend, Sam Elliott. This is her third play at CMHS as she performed in FAILURE: A LOVE STORY last spring and TWELFTH NIGHT in the fall as Maria. Over the summer she performed in ANYONE CAN WHISTLE at the FAC in their Youth Rep Program. She is so excited to be performing in PUFFS and it is show she has been looking forward to all year! She hopes she makes you laugh with Leanne! Enjoy the show!
Briana Froese (Hermeoone #1/Prof. Lanny/Rita Scooter/Myrtle/Bippy)
Briana is a freshman and is no stranger to theatre. She is excited to add PUFFS to her list of acting credits which include playing Sir Toby Belch in the fall play, TWELFTH NIGHT as well as several characters in the one act IDENTITY PLAY. In addition to acting, Briana sings with the Cheyenne Mtn. Choir(s) and looks forward to participating in both in continuing years.
Sydney Gallardo (Prof. Sprouty/Ginny/Frenchy)
Sydney is so excited to be performing in her 3rd show at CMHS. She played an obnoxiously rude countess, Olivia, in Twelfth Night but you may not recognize her because she was wearing a very scary veil. Sydney also played Deb and Alexis in the one act Identity Play. Outside of acting she likes mountain biking and beating her friend in Battleship. She is very excited to be in PUFFS and she hopes you enjoy the show.
Natalie Gebhards (A Very Tall Man/Ernie Mac/Fat Friar/Mr. Nick/Zach Smith/Scorpio)
Natalie is currently a junior at CMHS, and this is her third outside of class show with the school. It is also their second year in the Advanced Acting class, where they were last seen as Snow White and Rumplestiltskin in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon and Brett, Jeff, and Ben in 13 Ways to Screw Up Your College Interview. Last semester Natalie played Viola in Twelfth Night and last year performed as a dog and other ensemble roles in Failure: A Love Story. Natalie is also a member of Speech and Debate at the school, and looks forward to her senior year. She would like to thank her family for always supporting her crazy schedule, her friends for being there for her whenever she needs them, and her boyfriend because he's pretty great too.
Lucas Houtchens (Goyle/J. Finch Fletchly/Sal)
Lucas is a member of Dynamics and Chorale for his past 2 years at CMHS. You may recognize him from his performance as Malvolio in Twelfth Night last semester. Lucas is very excited to be in the play PUFFS and hopes everybody enjoys the show!
Piper Nichols (Cedric/Mr. Voldy)
Piper is super excited to be playing two super beautiful men! She is 5’7" and is not really bald, she actually has beautiful, smooth, clean, soft, luxurious hair. She would like to recognize theater for being the reason she has no friends and also all of her friends. She also wants to thank her mom who is 5’9" and very cool and her dad who is 5’11" and also very cool. She is also going to thank some nerd. She enjoys crumbl cookies and can eat them unlike some people in the cast. You may recognize her from Twelfth Night where she was the twin with the blue hat. She looks even better without said blue hat. Please continue to support our drama program because, to quote JK Rowling (not really) “[It] is so poor.” Pretty please with a cherry on top enjoy the show.
Shannon Paine (First Headmaster/Runes Teacher/Ghost History Teacher/Dragon)
Shannon Paine is a sophomore currently in the Tech Theatre class and loves being able to see both the tech and acting worlds of theatre. They were the Priest in TWELFTH NIGHT at CMHS last semester and Opal in TERROR BY GASLIGHT at Waynesville High School in Missouri. In addition to acting i PUFFS, Shannon made props and painted set for the show. They were also in the Theatrical Makeup class and freaked a lot of people out with the wounds and scars project. Shannon is in an online songwriting group and is planning on recording their original songs to release. They are really thankful for their family and friends (even if they aren't able to come see the show) and hope everyone enjoys the show!
Ashlyn Penny (Sally Perks)
Ashlyn is a Sophomore in the Advanced Acting class as well as a member of NAHS and Drama Club. You might've seen her recently in The Night Of One Acts where she performed as Cinderella and Rapunzel in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon and/or last year when she performed as part of the Ensemble in Failure: A Love Story. She hopes to continue theatre at Cheyenne and aspires to be a film actor in her future.
Isaiah Stall (Blondo Malfoy/Prof. Lockey/Ric Gryff/Clumsy Longbottom/DJ)
Isaiah has been a member of the Advanced Acting class for roughly two years now! He recently performed as Hansel and other roles in The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon and was in the ensemble for last year’s Spring Play, Failure: A Love Story. He’s an aspiring actor who strives to inspire those around him. He also is a member of the International Thespian Society. He’s so excited for everyone to see this play, and wishes everyone the best!
Gabe Sutherland (Anthony Goldstein/Prof. Turban/Real Mr. Moody/Mr. Bagman/Viktor)
Gabriel is an aspiring music producer and making his CMHS theatrical debut in PUFFS. Outside of the play, Gabe likes to make music and is currently learning guitar and piano.
Cordova Symanski (Harry/Susie Bones)
Cordova is a sophomore who has been at CMHS for 7 months after living 5 years in Germany. She is a member of the Advanced Acting class and has been acting for 8 years. Cordova was last seen on stage in the one act The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon and before that as Fabian in Twelfth Night. She enjoys horseback riding and reading. Most of her free time is spent doing outdoor activities or playing with her puppy, Journey. She would like to thank her entire family for being so supportive!
