Only a dream 12 years ago, Chewelah Center for the Arts has started its fifth season!   
The building is alive with activity - from StageTime kids practicing to Park Avenue Players rehearsals to variety musical events from Nothing to Lose Productions.   

But the dream hasn't stopped yet - construction began last spring for a north storage addition to house the various set pieces, stage platforms and other stuff that theaters seem to grow and multiply.  That project has been completed. Now, the current project is to cover the polka-dot black insulation with stucco and paint - plus repaint the existing concrete walls!
