This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing Cast

Paige Gordon is a sophomore at Center Grove High school, this is her 3rd production with the High School and she has done a total of 6 shows! Outside of theatre Paige is an officer in Best Buddies, plays softball, and is in the varsity female choir Debtones! She is so excited for you to see this show and hopes you enjoy what the cast and crew have built!

Casey Kuzel plays Beatrix in this years spring production of “This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl does Nothing.” They assisted with the Center Grove One Acts earlier this school year as stage crew and they are thrilled to be working on stage this time for this project. Casey is a sophomore at Center Grove this year and is looking forward to having more experience in the CGHS Theater Department in their next coming years. They hope you enjoy the show!

Leila Mohammed plays Carmen in this year’s production ‘This Girl Laughs..’. Leila is very beautiful, funny, smart, talented and humble! She started theater in middle school and is far too committed to the bit to stop now. Ask her to tell you a fact and she will deliver as she contains the knowledge of several thousand Wikipedia pages. Weird personality and off-putting vibes aside she really is just a sweet girl and hopes you enjoy the show!

Madilynn, or better known as Rinkle/Rinkle Dinkle/Rinkly Pinkly among her peers, is a junior/11th grader here at CGHS. And this will be her 2nd year of being in Theatre. Madi had a lot of fun at rehearsals and quickly grew friendships with the 3 sisters and some others. The four of them would often joke around with each other, but could calm it down when they needed to rehearse. Needless to say she loved spending time with her favorite cast members and had a lot of fun during this year’s production. She can’t wait for next year.

Kylie is a freshman at CGHS and she is playing a villager and a girl. This is her very first play at the high school and in her years at the middle school, she played in Legally Blonde and Beauty and the Beast. Kylie is a level 7 gymnast at the Flip Zone in Plainfield, IN. She has an older sister and brother, 3 puppies, 2 cats, and a guinea pig. Kylie enjoys acting and wants to make a career out of it in the future! She hopes you enjoy the show!

Spencer Anderson is a sophomore at Center Grove High School and is a member of the Ensemble for this production. He has been doing theater for 4 years, this being his 7th show. He was mostly a crew member, but decided to give the cast a try for this production. He enjoys acting and playing DND with his friends and he hopes to continue doing so in the future. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Kierston is a sophomore in high school and she plays the role of a villager. She loves doing theatre and spending time with her friends. This show will be her nineteenth production! She wants to thank all of her friends for their support throughout her theatre journey. She also wants to thank Ms. Torrey for this amazing opportunity to be in this show! Happy to be putting on my last high school show, now it is time to disappear dawg.

Carolina is a 17-year-old exchange student from Italy who loves theatre and everything that is art, she is enjoying her stay in Indiana and she would like to work in the cinematic and fashion industry one day . Carolina is part of the ensemble and she plays Eleanor, she is friendly and outgoing and she hopes you will love the show the show!

Ash Rice is a junior at Center Grove. He has been in theatre since eighth grade and has participated in both cast and crew. For this show he helped design the set, and can’t wait to continue working with CG’s theatre department.

Payton, a Junior, is playing Scene 9 Woman and is in ensemble. In High School, she has been in Freaky Friday, Peter and The Starcatcher, and Trap. She is also involved in NHS, Spanish NHS, and Interact Club at Center Grove. She loves theater and hopes you enjoy the show!

Ethan Wood is thrilled to be playing the role of the father! This is his first play, but he has been performing in musicals since he was 9, and recently performed in the ensemble of Mean Girls High School Version at the Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre! He was also Chip Tolentino in Center Grove’s recent production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! At school, he performs in both Sound System and CG Singers! He hopes you enjoy the show!

Ava is a senior playing the Old Lady amidst a variety of other ensemble characters. She has played ensemble before in Freaky Friday and Peter and the Starcatcher, and she has participated in crew for Little Shop of Horrors, Trap and this production. Outside of theater, she enjoys Model UN, Writer's League, chemistry, and volunteering. She hopes you enjoy this production!
