Shakespeare in Love Cast

Presley Jacobson is so excited to play Viola in Shakespeare in Love. This is her fourth production at BB&N (2x actor; 2x pit musician). She is in 11th grade, and outside of theater, she is a debate captain, a GAINs leader, a coxswain, and a violinist. This production has been an incredible experience for Presley. She would like to thank the cast, crew, costume team, director, her dogs, and her parents.

Hale is a junior and is making her long awaited Upper School stage debut. Hale was a member of the Theater Program's classes for the last two years, and was a committed stage performer in her 'youth'. Hale is a member of the BB&N Lacrosse team and likes to ski. Hale would like to thank her family, in particularly her mum. She would also like to thank the cast and crew for this marvelous adventure.

Miley is a Junior at BB&N, and she is thrilled to play Christopher (Kit) Marlowe in Shakespeare in Love. Last year she played Lisa Morrison in Collected Stories and Professor Kokintz in The Mouse that Roared, but you may have also seen her as Victor Velasco in Barefoot in the Park or Lignière in Cyrano De Bergerac. Miley is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work with such a wonderful cast, crew, and the director — Mr. MacDonald. She would also like to thank her family for constantly supporting her throughout the rehearsal process.

Anja is a senior at BB&N and is making her Fall Production debut! Anja is a Upper School Musical 'veteran' having performed in 'Dream The Musical', 'Into The Woods' and 'Chicago'. In her free time, Anja likes to write and read, play with her two dogs, and sing in the school’s acapella and chorale groups. She would like to thank everyone involved in this year’s production and hopes you enjoy the show!

Nicole Minsky This is Nikki’s ninth BB&N Upper School production! Recently Nikki performed in The Mouse that Roared, and Chicago, and was the inaugural student director of the Spring Play. Nikki was also the production assistant on Barefoot in the Park, and performed in Cyrano De Bergerac, Into the Woods, Dream The Musical and OR21. Nikki would like to thank her family, her friends and the entire company of this production.

Eva is proud to participate in BB&N’s fall production of Shakespeare in Love. Previously BB&N Upper School productions include, Collected Stories, Chicago, Into the Woods, Barefoot in the Park, and Dream the Musical. Eva wants to thank the cast and crew for a wonderful experience and looks forward to even more performances this year!

Laith is a junior and has been in a wide variety of shows since his early years. Productions include: Shakespeare Love & Tragedy, Into the Woods, Secret in the Wings, Argonautika, The Odyssey, & Cyrano de Bergerac and The Mouse that Roared. Laith is very excited to perform in his 3rd production at BB&N. He would like to say thank you to his parents and the entire cast & crew of Shakespeare in Love.

Matthias Paulson Matthias is a Sophomore who’s been at the school since 5th grade. Matthias did shows during his time in the lower and middle school, and made his debut Upper School performance in 'The Mouse that Roared'. Outside of theater, Matthias likes maple syrup, waffles, and his dog Chewie.

Maria Zacharia is a junior acting in the roles of the Nurse, Mistress Quickly, and Adam. This is her second BB&N production and she is so excited for everyone to see this show. Outside of theater she enjoys spending time with family and friends, solving challenging math problems in Math Team, and debating world policies in Model UN. She hopes everyone has a wonderful time watching the show!

Deniz is a freshman and as well as making his Upper School stage debut, he's also been a busy member of the BB&N ninth grade soccer team.

Shane McCauley (He/Him) (President) This is Shane’s second production as an actor making his debut last year in The Mouse That Roared. He has also been a member of the BB&N stage crew for Barefoot in the Park, and assistant director for Collected Stories. Shane is delighted to be participating in his first role that demands stage combat.

Hailey is a sophomore who is performing in her second Fall Show and third BB&N Upper School production. Having 'debuted' last year in 'The Mouse That Roared' and 'Chicago'. Outside of school she likes to play tennis, sing, and write.

Max is a junior and delighted to be returning to the BB&N stage. Previous shows at the Upper School, 'The Mouse That Roared', and 'Barefoot in the Park'. Max is co-President of GSA and the Environmental Club. Outside of theater he enjoys gardening, coding, and fencing.

Alec is a Sophomore and is making his Upper School stage debut. He is a regular member of 'Improv Jones', led by the Middle School's Christa Crewdson. Despite a serious injury, Alec has overcome the odds and is delighted to be making his first BB&N stage performance.

Seth is a freshman and is making his BB&N Upper School debut.

David is a freshman and is making his Upper School debut.

Sebastian is a Junior and returning to the Lindberg-Serries Stage in this production. He is no stranger to theater, having been actively involved with groups prior to joining the Upper School, and he is also a current member of the Theater Studies Class. Sebastian is also a current member of the BB&N cross-country team and is also an active member of the BB&N Rugby Club.
