Ella Mcneish (Sophie Sheridan)Ella is a 2025 graduate of Buckhannon-Upshur High School. She has been a member of BCT since she was 7 years old. Ella has participated in numerous BCT and B-UHS productions. Her favorite roles include: Dorthy in Wizard of Oz, Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker, Young Fiona in Shrek and Ella in Cinderella. She also directs a summer youth theatre camp, with the support of many BCT volunteers. Ella would like to thank her BCT family for all of the support over the years. Growing up in the theatre really helped shape her life.
She will be headed to WVU in the Fall to pursue a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders / Speech Pathology.
Erica Cottrill (Ali)Erica is ecstatic to make her BCT debut with a familiar show! In 2023, Erica graduated from WVU with her BFA in Acting and her BA in English. The last musical she performed in was Bridgeport High School’s Mamma Mia! featuring her graduating class of 2019. Some of Erica’s favorite credits include Josie in The Skriker (WVU), Margaret in The Marriage of Bette and Boo (WVU), Martha Cratchit in A Christmas Carol (WVPT), and Katherine/Jaquenetta in Love’s Labour’s Lost (The Rustic Mechanicals). In addition to performing, Erica loves to write, craft, and spend time with her family’s energetic dog and three (or five) fluffy cats. Her thanks go out to her family, friends, and teachers for their endless support in her endeavors. She is so grateful for the opportunity to sing onstage again, and has felt welcomed into the BCT community with open arms!
Kyia McGIll (Lisa (Dance Captain))Kyia McGill was thrilled to make her return to Buckhannon Community Theatre in Rocky Horror in 2024, having last performed in 2018 as Miss Andrew in their 2019 production of Mary Poppins. A recent graduate of Davis and Elkins College with a theatre degree, Kyia has been involved in theatre since 2016 and has loved it ever since. Alongside BCT, Kyia works professionally with the Rustic Mechanicals, West Virginia's only touring Shakespeare troupe. She is so grateful to be able to do what she loves every day of her life, and thanks BCT, her friends, and her family for their love and support.
Katie Loudin (Donna Sheridan) Katie earned a Bachelors degree in Applied Music in voice and violin performance from WVWC in 2007. Katie has enjoyed music and theater throughout her life, having appeared most recently as the Mother in A Christmas Story. Other favorite roles include “Maria” in BCT’s The Sound of Music (2011), “Cinderella” in BCT’s Into the Woods (2013), “Bonnie” in WVWC’s Anything Goes, and “Annie” in Danville Light Opera’s Annie. She loves to share the stage with her children, and to help bring performing arts experiences to the community. Thank you to Adam, my family, and everyone who has come out to support local theatre!
Wesley Benson (Sky)Wesley is a 2024 graduate of Fairmont State University. He is the owner of film production company, Double-U Pictures, LLC. Wesley is a member of the Shinnston Arts Foundation and serves on the Marketing Committee of the Cultural Foundation of Harrison County. Recent theatrical credits include: Fairmont State - "Rocky Horror Show" (Brad Majors), "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" (Dan/Feat. Dancer), "Matilda the Musical" (Michael Wormwood/Older Student); The Robinson Grand - "The Addams Family" (Ancestor/Grim Reaper/Thing). Wesley made his on-screen debut in the 2019 anti-bullying film, "The Zombie Club." Wesley has participated in The Rustic Mechanicals Apprentice Troupe and Montani Cantanti Apprenticeship Program at The Vintage Theatre Company in Clarksburg. He studies voice with Madison Linger and has previously trained with Broadway veteran, Jodie Langel. Wesley is a ten-year company member of Ingra & Company Dance Studio in Shinnston. In addition to his performance endeavors, he has assistant directed musical theatre productions at 5th Street Center for Dance in Fairmont.
Eva Atha (Tanya)Eva Atha
Eva Atha is very excited to be performing in her first show with BCT! Since graduating from Wesleyan in 2022, Eva has been directing the choirs at Buckhannon-Upshur Middle School and the First United Methodist Church. She also teaches ballet and jazz at The Dance Factory. In recent years, Eva has done choreography for many local shows, including BCT’s “Frozen Jr”, BU High School’s “The Music Man” and “Cinderella”, and this past spring, choreography and music for BU Middle School’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”
Rebecca Bowers- Call (Rosie)Rebecca is thrilled to be back with BCT for this summer’s Mama Mia adventure. Her last appearance was as Patsy Cline in “Always Patsy Cline” in 2016. Growing up, singing and piano were constants for Rebecca along with her horses and love of the outdoors. She is so excited to spend time this summer with an amazing cast and dance the night away with audiences in July. Rebecca is the Director of Fred W. Eberle Technical Center in Buckhannon and serves as part of the worship team at New Community Church. So much thanks to Matt and all my family for supporting and loving me.
Jack Santee (Pepper)Jack Santee, is a Fairmont native and upcoming senior at
Robert C. Byrd High School. Jack’s recent musical stage

Coat (Brother Benjamin), Addams Family Musical (Pugsley) and
Shrek Jr. (Lord Farquaad). Film credits include the award
winning short film, Lilac Gultch: An Appalachian Fairy Tale. Jack
studies vocal performance and piano with Gigi Collett and Greg
Devito and Musical Theatre with 5th St. Center for Dance and
continues to work, three seasons, with Marion County Parks and
Recreation as a certified lifeguard. He attended WVGSA in 2024
for vocal performance, at WV Wesleyan, and looks forward to
performing as Pepper in Buckhannon Community Theatre’s
“Mama Mia.”
Julius Pretlow (Eddie)
Ashton Nardella (Harry Bright)Ashton is currently a student at West Virginia Wesleyan College, where he is double majoring in musical theatre and communication. So far, he has played the great mage, Steve, in “She Kills Monsters”, Snoopy in “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, and Algernon in “The Importance of Being Earnest”. He also toured with the Rustic Mechanicals, playing Trinculo in their version of the “Tempest”, last summer.
Bryce O"Loughlin (Sam Carmicheal)Bryce O'Loughlin is a musician and video artist from Buckhannon, WV. He made his BCT debut in the 2000 production of "Fiddler on the Roof." In 2023 Bryce played the role of Tinman in BCT's "The Wizard of Oz."
Matt Stott (Bill Austin)Matt is making his third appearance in a BCT production after debuting as Scarecrow in 2023's Wizard of Oz. Matt played Romeo twenty years ago and more recently in 2015 he played Uncle Max in The Sound of Music in a town in Western Colorado with less than 450 residents. Because of such a limited cast, he also got to play the priest that married his wife (playing Maria) to another man (playing VonTrapp)! Matt also enjoys helping the productions
with set design and building.
When not on stage, Matt practices as an attorney in Buckhannon, helps to homeschool his five kids, and plays the mandolin poorly.
David Carson (Father Alexandrios)My role as Colonel Mustard in 2022 was a great reboot of why I have enjoyed BCT productions for three decades. I have been blessed to have a second family, my
Theatre one. It, too, is held together with work, patience, compromise, and most of all. love. My performances are dedicated to both families. Thanks for keeping me young at heart. I'm always pleased & rewarded with being cast in any BCT show!
Kristina Smith (Ensemble)Kristina owns and performs for Weston’s premiere children’s entertainment company, Little Glass Slipper Princess Parties. She has appeared in 2 BCT productions you may remember her as the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz and she debuted last year as Bitsy. She helped to successfully costume A Christmas Story last season as well. When she’s not entertaining children as their favorite princess, fairy, or superhero, she enjoys watching reality tv at home with her husband David, and 2 pugs.
Brooke Young (Ensemble)I am honored to have been part of BCT for the past 5 years, after moving to Buckhannon from Northern Virginia. I have performed in Dracula, Clue, and The Single Man, and as a makeup artist in Wizard of Oz, Finding Nemo Kids, and Willy Wonka. And now I have the privilege to be part of a BCT, I’m so grateful for the opportunity!
Laura J. Meese (Ensemble)Laura J. Meese is a veteran BCT member, though she is most often on the other side of the curtain as director.
Laura has a BS in Theatre, with a Masters degree in Art Education. She has been a Member of BCT since 2010, though she is usually a director. Her direction for BCT has included The Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, Shrek the Musical, A Christmas Carol (the script which she personally adapted from the original Dickens' classic), Steel Magnolias, War of the Worlds, The Odd Couple, and Almost, Maine.
As an actor, Laura has been seen in BCT productions such as The Single Man, Death by Dessert, Rocky Horror Show, Coyote on a Fence, Beauty and the Beast, and Into the Woods.
Having loved all aspects of theatre for the majority of her life, Laura has always found a home in Buckhannon Community Theatre. She hopes to see it grow and continue to enrich our community into the future.
Pam Bucklew (Ensemble)Pam has been involved with BCT since her daughter Catherine was cast in Annie. Having been in a few plays with just bit parts and background of most, a major part in a play was listed on her bucket list. She has done hair since 1984 and has helped with several BCT and WVWC shows. She has also been a Buckhannon city council person going on 24 years and working toward retirement and she is not ready to stay home and sit in a rocking chair. She would like to remain a part of her community. Pam was last seen in Death by Dessert, and also as Lamerle in Red Velvet Cake War last spring.
Emilie Ticer (Ensemble)Emilie Ticer is a music teacher in Elkins, West Virginia. She has always loved musical theater, taking part in productions from Hello Dolly to Cats throughout her teen years. She’s excited to be back on stage with Mamma Mia, singing and embracing her inner dancing queen!
Jaron Currence (Ensemble)Jaron has been doing productions with the BCT for the past two years and the middle school productions this year. His favorite has been The Wizard of Oz and last year’s middle school spring show. He loves performing, whether it is singing, doing improve, or learning a particular part. He enjoys making people laugh and can’t wait for more opportunities to do just that!
John Antolini (Ensemble)John Antolini, a proud advocate for the arts in Buckhannon, returns to the stage in Mamma Mia… John is an active participant in the Buckhannon community. He has been a board member and volunteer with Free Meals Appalachia for the past three years.
He served as a band ambassador during the WAMSB competition in 2023. He graduated from WV Wesleyan in 2020 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
Growing up hearing an ABBA CD in his Grammy’s car, plus his love for the music of his parents’ youth, naturally drew him to this production. This is his first BCT production in as many years, having first starred in A Christmas Carol (not sure what year).
