Assistant Director
Nayeli TorresThis is Nayeli! She is the assistant director for this show and this is her second year in theatre. Her favorite roles consist of Fate 2 (Hadestown: Teen Edition) and Bruce (Matilda)! She is extremely proud of everyone for their hard work and dedication. She hopes that you enjoy A Monster Calls!

Stage Manager
RoeRoe (Stage manager) has worked with the Bryant Theatre Company for 2 years, serving as Sound Designer for Squad Goals, Lighting Designer for Hadestown, and is now excited to help bring A Monster Calls to you as a stage manager.

Assistant Stage Manager
Malia CampbellWorking behind the scenes in her 4th show at Bryant High School, Junior Malia Campbell is so excited to be working as A Monster Calls Assistant Stage Manager! She is so grateful to be given this leadership role and work alongside other talented humans in the theatrical group. You might have seen her preforming at the royal, or doing shows at the high school, but she’s so glad to do tech for her last year in the Bryant Schools Theater Department. She hopes everyone enjoys the huge amount of work they have put into this performance!!

Projections/Technical director
Jess SheltonJess Shelton (projections/technical director) is so happy to work tech for another Bryant Theater Company production! She has previously been lighting designer (Matilda, Squad Goals, The Little Mermaid), sound designer (The Outsiders), costumes (The 39 Steps, Madagascar), and stage manager (Hadestown). She thanks the wonderful tech team and actors for their hard work and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Lighting designer
Christianne CainChristianne Cain is really excited to be a lighting designer for Bryant Theatre Company’s A Monster Calls. She has done set design, sound design, film creation but never lighting design. She enjoys all aspects of theatre and getting any opportunity to learn something new.

Choreographer
Nyla NewtonNyla Newton is so excited to choreograph her first piece for BTC!! She’s been on stage as a dancer for 13 years, and has been in numerous local productions as an actor in the past 8 years. You may have seen Nyla as Fate 3 in Hadestown: Teen Edition on the Love auditorium stage in the fall, and you can look forward to seeing her in Argenta Contemporary Theatre’s production of SIX The Musical: Teen Edition this summer! Enjoy the show!

Head of Music
AJ JohnsonSenior AJ Johnson is serving as head of music for his second time with the Bryant Theater Company. He has also done costumes, props, publicity, and stage managed. AJ is thrilled to be working alongside the talented cast and crew of “A Monster Calls,” and he thanks Jeremy Clay for such an inspiring opportunity.

Sound Designer
Kyndall RomesKyndall Romes first show with Bryant Theatre company was Matilda. She played Nurse,Big Kid, and loud dancer. She has also been in tech crew for squad goals. And in tech for a monster calls. She is so excited to see the creations come to life.

Head of Costumes
Isabela botelloIsabela botello (Head of Costumes) She has worked with Bryant High School for 1 year was in WHAM for squad goals, For Hadestown she worked on set design. She is so happy to be apart of Bryant Theater company and loves learning to growing as a person with this opportunity.

Prop Head
Jonathan ThomasThis is Jonathan’s fourth and final year as a part of the Bryant High School Theater Company. He has deeply enjoyed his time here and truly loves this art. For A Monster Calls he is the Prop Head. He has previously served as the Sound Board Operator, Set Mover, and Assistant Stage Manager. He is very excited about this show and hopes that y’all enjoy it.

House manager/publicity
Ocean PikeyThis is Ocean’s 2nd year doing theater. She has worked on costumes last year (Matilda), Sound (Squad goals), Projections (Hadestown: Teen Edition), and is excited to bring you A Monster Calls as Publicity and House Manager. She is proud of all the work everyone has put into this show, and is excited to work with these people in the future.
WHAM
Avery TylerAvery is thrilled to be working behind the scenes on this production! This is her first time as part of WHAM and has been excited to bring the characters to life through hair and makeup. She would like to thank the cast, crew, and Mr. Clay for guidance and support. Enjoy the show!

Costumes
Maria ArroyoMaria Arroyo is an emerging theatre artist with experience in both performance and technical roles. She has portrayed Les in Newsies for Arkansas Thespians, Player 3 in Squad Goals, and has been part of the WHAM for Matilda the Musical and Hadestown. Beyond acting, she has contributed to the technical side of theatre as part of the costumes team for A Monster Calls. Dedicated to storytelling, Maria continues to expand her skills both on and off the stage.

Props
Luke AndersonLuke Anderson, is a member of props for A Monster Calls. This is their first year in theater and they have only two other show experiences with the ASM of Squad Goals and costumes for Teen Edition HadesTown. I have very much enjoyed my small amount of time spent in theater so far!
