Fabulation, or the Re-education of Undine Cast
Oasis Lilliard (they/them) (Undine Barnes Calles)Oasis Lillard (they/them) is a transfer student from Michigan. Growing up they were often found performing on a stage. Though currently studying psychology, Oasis continues their passion for the stage by making their BSU theatre debut as Undine! From a smaller theatre community, all of their thanks goes to their family and theatre friends back home. Past shows include "Eurydice," "She Kills Monsters," and "Pipeline." They are excited to see what new horizons await them.
Jalayah Muhammad (she/her) (Ensemble (Stephie, Inmate, Counselor))Jalayah Muhammad is a junior Theatre Arts major with a concentration in Acting and Directing at Bowie State University. Born and raised in Maryland, Jalayah started performing at six years old. She enjoys telling stories through acting and dancing. Jalayah has been in “The Wiz”, “Shrek the Musical”, “Hairspray”, “Annie” , “The Lion King”, and more! Acting brings her joy and she plans to perfect her craft to pursue a career in acting in the future.
Ryan Chandler Wilson (he/him) (Ensemble (Agent Duva, Flow, Group Counseling Member))Ryan is very excited to be in his first Bowie State University production. He recently graduated with honors in theatre performance from Prince George’s Community College. While at PGCC he performed in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Piano Lesson, and Diversions and Other Distractions.
Devin Harper (he/him) (Ensemble (Yoruba Priest, Father, Group Counseling Member))Devin Harper is s a DMV native. This sophomore Theater Arts major is an actor, dancer, gymnast, artist, saxophonist, pianist, and percussionist. Making his BSU debut as Father/Ensemble credits his humble beginnings to Church services and Black History programs. Cast as an ensemble for productions of “The Lion King Jr.,” “Annie Jr.,” “Cinderella,” and backstage for “West Side Story.” His passion for the arts inspires him to continue his career in the entertainment industry.
Genesis Bratcher (she/her) (Ensemble (Mother, OB-GYN, Devora, Pregnant Woman))Genesis Bratcher discovered her passion for acting at four, inspired by her father, a playwright. His storytelling ignited her love for theatre, leading her to the Performing and Visual Arts program at New Rochelle High School. Now a theatre student at Bowie State University, she is dedicated to honing her craft, especially in realism and drama. She aspires to become a household name, creating timeless works that inspire future generations and spark meaningful conversations about the human experience.
Erica Harrell (she/her) (Ensemble (Allison, Grandma, Inmate, Caseworker))Erica Harrell is a composer, vocalist, songwriter, arranger, producer, recording engineer, mixing engineer, mastering engineer, pianist, bassist, drummer, percussionist, clarinetist, painter/fine artist, fashion designer, graphic designer, photographer/ videographer, production (art, design) manager, actress and student. Harrell was raised in Baltimore, MD, and currently attends Bowie State University, majoring in Music Technology.
In 2021, she began her studies at Bowie State University where she is a Percussionist in the University Percussion Ensemble.
Jacobie Thornton (he/him) (Ensemble (Hervé/Guy))Jacobie Thornton (He/Him) is a senior theater major with a concentration in Acting and Directing at Bowie State University in Bowie, Maryland. Born and raised in Cedar Hill, TX, right outside of Dallas, is where his journey began. A few of his credits include The Wiz (Cedar Hill High School), Blood at the Root (Millikin University), Hurt Village (Soul Rep Theatre), Ride the Cyclone (Bowie State University), and recently Cracking Zeus (Spooky Action Theater).
Josiah Williams (he/him) (Ensemble (Richard, Officer, Addict, Lance))Josiah Williams is a freshman Theater Arts major with a concentration of acting. As a first time performer he is thrilled to make his debut as Richard/Ensemble at BSU. With his natural passion to perform, he is excited to launch his career in the entertainment world.
