Alexis Kennedy (she/her) (Cora)
Alexis Kennedy (she/her) is a junior Theatre Arts major who is thrilled to perform in her first show at Bowie State. Prior to her transfer she completed a national tour contract with Bright Star Touring Theatre. Performance credits include The Wiz (Prince George’s Community College), Macbeth (Prince George’s Shakespeare in the Parks), and more. She would like to thank her directors, advisors, and cast for this opportunity to develop an impactful show.
Whitney Watson (Monica)
Whitney Watson (she/her) is a black female theater artist. Whitney’s work ranges from improvisational performance to children’s theater. She has over 10 years of musical training, including violin, piano, and singing. This is Whitney’s first official school production. She thanks the cast and direction team for all of their support and dedication and can’t wait for you to see her shine on stage!

London Diggs (He/Him) is a senior theater major with a concentration in Acting /Directing from Portsmouth, Virginia. Kathryn Kawecki (she/they) is a DMV area theatre artist and designer. Area credits include: 1st Stage (artistic associate), Chesapeake Shakespeare, InSeries, Flying V, The Hub.
