Michael Allen Harris
Michael Allen Harris is currently staffed on an interactive, branching narrative TV Show that is set to debut in April 2023. Most recently, Michael’s pilot SKIN FOLK was selected as a mentorship honoree by ScreenCraft and is currently a quarter finalist in LaunchPad’s Sci-Fi & Fantasy Pilot competition. He developed his play DOUBLE HELIX with Donja R. Love and The Gatekeepers Collective. He is the Resident Playwright of Broken Nose Theatre and an Ensemble Member of The New Colony and Eclipse Theatre. His play, KINGDOM, was nominated for Best Play at the 2018 Non-Equity Jeff Awards and won the Black Theatre Alliance: Lorraine Hansberry Award. KINGDOM was then published by Stage Rights. Michael is a current resident of NY, and is a 2019 MFA graduate of Tisch: Dramatic Writing, and he received his BFA in Acting from Columbia College Chicago. Outside of writing, he is a HUGE video game nerd, Janet Jackson stan, a Capricorn, and a 90’s R&B enthusiast.
