David M. Stamps, CEO of SPOKEN WORLD ENTERTAINMENT, is a Writer/Producer living in New York City. He has written a poetry play entitled, “The Black Bullet Dichotomy”. It’s one black poet’s existential transformation from a dysfunctional to a healthy relationship with the bullet; in America. Markus Potter, Tony-nominated Broadway Producer, has requested the play. His writing mentor, KARIN PARTIN WELLS, will also pass along the piece to her connection, the President of AMAZON FEATURES. David’s Anthology Series: The Other Side – Where Hip-Hop meets The Twilight Zone, encompasses three of his projects, now in development. He wrote, produced, performed, his perennial Hip-Hop Horror Film, “The Deadly Ms. Susan Aside”. It’s a sample of the new sub-genre, Hip-Hop Horror, that he created. He has two other film scripts in development. His latest Spoken Word song, The Night Mare, is available for your perusal on www.spokenworld.xyz, his website. Mr. Stamps has taken classes through ScreenwritingU to include The Master Screenwriting Certificate (18 month) Program, The Pro Series (9 month) Program. And through Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU), he has taken The Producer Development and Mentoring Program (PDMP), developed to help artists advance in the creative arts. David has been a Master Storyteller for over 40 years. David’s the Artist-In-Residence for Senator Leroy Comrie’s Veteran’s Advisory Board, in St. Albans, Queens. He volunteers to help the area’s homeless veterans. He also performs his poetry and song at functions across the borough on the Senator’s behalf.

India Shanelle, Founder of BlackLight Community is thrilled to produce the first virtual reading of Black Bullet Dichotomy! BlackLight is a nonprofit production company that serves people of color through life, performance, and well-being. For 6 years, this organization has been in the making and started in St. Louis Missouri. With over 100 members, BlackLight is an inclusive organization that has grown substantially within the 2 years of being an official non-profit. India is also a musical theatre performer originally from St. Louis, Missouri. She's played leading roles such as Motormouth Maybelle in Hairspray, Percy in Spitfire Grill, and a contestant on Season 16' of America's Got Talent with the outstanding JW's Inspirational Singers of New York City. India also takes joy in fitness through yoga, meditation, and bodybuilding.

Karl Hawkins
Karl Hawkins (he/they) is an actor, director, singer, and acting coach based in New York. He holds a BFA in Acting from the Conservatory of Theatre & Dance at Southeast Missouri State University. As an actor, Karl has worked regionally at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, The New Jewish Theatre, and The Secret Theatre. As a director, Karl has tackled the work of Tennessee Willams, Marsha Norman, Robert O’Hara, William Shakespeare as well as new works. Karla With a K is proud to be the Stage Manager of the Virtual Reading of David Stamps’ "The Black Bullet Dichotomy." Having worked much of her career in Los Angeles, CA, this a her first opportunity to work with this production team of very talented individuals, based in New York City. Karla has worked as an Actress, Radio Personality and Voiceover Artist, as a member of SAG-AFTRA, in radio, sit-coms and numerous TV commercials. As a Howard University grad, with a B. A. in Broadcast Production, she’s happy to be able to apply her production skills, using new technology, for this virtual reading.
