Talking With is the third Black Swamp Players production for which Heath has served as Director. Previous directorial credits include The Odd Couple (Female Version) (BSP), The Drowsy Chaperone (BSP), A Mouth to Feed (Toledo Rep), The Guys (TBD Productions), and Gidion's Knot (TBD Productions). Heath is slated to direct August: Osage County for BSP's 2021-2022 season. Heath has appeared on the BSP stage as Herb in I Ought To Be In Pictures, as Mr. Boddy in Clue: The Musical, and as Edward Baxter in Psych, and he recently was a member of the ensemble cast for Owens Community College's production of The Laramie Project: Ten Years Later. When Heath is not treading the boards, he serves as Board President for both Black Swamp Players and Wood County Humane Society. He also is Teaching Professor in the Honors College and the Department of English at BGSU. In his spare time, he loves spending time with his husband Gary and their four rescue kitties, doing jigsaw puzzles, and watching international crime dramas.

Stephanie Truman (Stage Manager) is excited to be returning to live theatre, and being part of the production team for Talking With…Stephanie has been involved in several BSP productions; on stage in roles with On Golden Pond (Chelsea), Sylvia (Kate) and Dearly Departed (Veda/Juanita). Stephanie has more recently delved into film acting, and participated in various film projects with WBGU and BGSU. Stephanie has discovered she loves learning and growing behind the scenes just as much as on stage, and thoroughly enjoys supportive positions such as scene construction/painting, costuming and co-producing; both with The Black Swamp Players and Horizon Youth Theatre.
