Jordan Killam (Jennifer)
Jordan Killam is a seasoned actor and voice talent, gracing the stage at Village Players Theater in roles such as Annelle in Steel Magnolias, Lucy in F2M, Nancy in Angel Street, and Faye in Chapter Two. Her performances at the Toledo Repertoire Theater include roles such as Rabbi Sharon in The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told, Karen in The Children's Hour, and Raymonde in A Flea In Her Ear. Jordan's voice acting career spans eight years, highlighted by a 2021 Audie Award nomination for her work in Burnt Tongues, edited by Chuck Palahniuk. Offstage, Jordan is the Marketing & Communications Manager at R2 Surgical, a global supplier of pre-owned surgical robotics systems and instruments. She's also a licensed Realtor. She is thrilled to work with Lane Hakel and the talented cast on this production!
Rin Moran (Adele)
Rin has been acting on stage and film in northwest Ohio since 2002. As a member of Lionface Productions and Beautiful Kids Independent Shakespeare, she has appeared in many classic roles such as Ophelia, Lady Macbeth, Mercutio, Titania, Mephistopheles, and many more. She is also an avid voice actor, most notably as Jhori Ostiir on Ghostlight Media's “Imprinted Echoes.” Rin has won multiple awards for her work, including an OCTA award for Excellence in Acting for her role as 'Woman' in “I Will Never Play Hamlet,” and is absolutely delighted to be coming back to the stage with the Black Swamp Players after a long pandemic break.
Trevor Walsh (Mel)
Trevor is excited for his return on the stage with Black Swamp Players in this original play. Previously, Trevor has been in a variety of both Musicals and Straight Plays across several community and school organizations in Bowling Green, Athens and Columbus, OH. His most recent productions include Fort Findlay Playhouse’s 2024 production of Weekend Comedy (Tony), Black Swamp Player’s 2023 productions of Puffs (Cedric/Voldy) and Nora: A Doll’s House (Thomas Helmer), and Hilliard Art Council’s 2019 production of Hello Dolly (Chorus). Outside of the theater, you’ll likely see Trevor at the local breweries in the Northwest OH region. Trevor gives particular thanks to his fiancé Hunter for his love and support for the arts, and the rest of his friends and family for encouraging his passion for live theater.
Annelise Clifton (Pearl)
Annelise is excited to return to the Black Swamp Players’ stage as Pearl in the premier of Jennifer’s Birth. Annelise was last seen as Helena Rubinstein in Black Swamp Players’ production of War Paint. Previous roles include Leenie LaRue in Common Grounds: A New Musical written by local creative talents Luke Rosen and Matt Zwyer and produced by TBD Productions, Hannah Ferguson in Black Swamp Players’ Spitfire Grill, Fraulein Schnieder in 3B/Village Players production of Cabaret, and was a member of the ensemble cast of Black Swamp Players’ The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time. Annelise is one of the founders of TBD Productions and was honored to be in TBD’s first production, the two-hander Gidion’s Knot (Corryn). Other selected credits include TBD Productions’ Motherhood Out Loud, Cutting Edge Theatre Company’s Chicago (Matron Mama Morton) and Black Swamp Players’ August: Osage County (Barbara Fordham). 00 Other selected theatre credits include Matilda (Miss Trunchbull), Talking With (Moira/Fifteen Minutes), The Drowsy Chaperone (Woman in Chair); The Addams Family (Morticia); To Kill a Mockingbird (Miss Maudie); A Christmas Carol (Mrs. Crachit); Grease (Miss Lynch); and, Sister Act (Ensemble). When not in the theater, Annelise spends her time working as an attorney, volunteering with local theater organizations, serving on the advisory board for the BGSU Chapter of Chi Omega Fraternity, and enjoying high school again through her teenage daughter’s eyes. Annelise would like to thank her husband and children for always supporting her.
Garrett Monasmith (Lee)
Garrett Monasmith is elated to make his debut with Black Swamp Players. He has been performing since 1999. A Toledo native, some of his more recent notable roles were Stanley Kowalski in the Toledo Repertoire Theatre’s production of “A Streetcar Named Desire” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in “Amadeus” at the same theatre. Garrett holds eternal gratitude for anyone who supports the arts, and urges you to enjoy the show!
Skylar Tauber (Connie)
Skylar Tauber is a multifaceted individual whose passion for both artistic expression and analytical thinking fuels her journey through life. By day, Skylar serves as a SIP Delivery Coordinator and Junior Analyst at Velocity, where her keen eye for detail and strategic mindset contribute to the company's success. Beyond the confines of the corporate world, Skylar's spirit finds solace and inspiration in the realms of creativity and exploration. As an artist, she channels her boundless imagination into vibrant paintings, intricate sketches, and other forms of visual storytelling. Skylar's artwork reflects her deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the world around her. When not immersed in her professional or artistic pursuits, Skylar can often be found indulging her wanderlust, traveling when she can and reading captivating books. At the heart of Skylar's world lies a profound love for animals, friends, and family and a commitment to making a positive impact in the world. Whether volunteering or simply spending time with them. Most recently, Skylar graced the stage in "War Paint" at the Black Swamp Players' theater, showcasing her talent and versatility as a performer. Skylar wants to thank the cast, crew, friends, family and audience for the support and love in this community.
