Alura RazzaMs. Razza is in her third full year of teaching at Beacon and couldn't be happier to have found her home here! She studied musical theatre education at Rhode Island College and musical theatre performance at Pepperdine University. Ms. Razza has been teaching voice and theatre for almost 20 years, as well as audition preparation, improvisation, musical theatre choreography, and character development. In addition, she has been performing on stage and in front of the camera professionally for over twenty years. She wants to thank her incredibly supportive family for putting up with her crazy hours and extend a special thank you to her executive team, Ms. Armstrong and Mr. Szabo, because without them, none of this would have been possible! Karah ArmstrongMs. Armstrong is a recently discovered theatre kid! She teaches science here at Beacon but has devoted her afternoons and evenings to building sets and making Ms. Razza's vision come true. Ms. Armstrong is excited to experience a world where musicals happen in real life and all the world is a stage!

Co-Technical Director
Xander SzaboXander Szabo is the chemistry teacher at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts. Before going into the sciences, Mr. Szabo graduated as a theatre major from an arts high school much like Beacon, and his love of theatre persists to this day. He can often be found haunting Ms. Razza's theatre room, watching what students are working on, and is occasionally roped into small roles in their productions. Mr. Szabo helps the other science teacher, Ms. Armstrong, with set building and prop creation. He strongly believes in the connection between science and the creative arts and strives to support Beacon's arts programs for many years to come!

Stage Manager
Juliana ChamberlainJuliana Chamberlain is in her junior year as a theatre student at Beacon. She is very excited to be participating in her third production. Juliana began her theatre career as a freshman, working as part of the tech crew for the world premiere of Time Freaks. She was also involved in Beacon’s productions of Mamma Mia! and Hush Little Celia, Don’t Say a Word. During her free time, Juliana is really into special effects makeup. She’d like to thank everyone who has supported her throughout her theatre journey and would also like to give a special thank you to Ms. Razza for always believing in her.

Scenic Artist and Design
Kara BarsolouKara Barsalou is an eleventh-grade visual arts student at Beacon Charter High School. This is her first time assisting with a theatre production. She is excited to branch out into theatre after already exploring visual arts at Beacon and culinary arts at home with her former chef mom. She would like to thank Ms. Armstrong for bringing her onto the production team and looks forward to possibly working on future shows.

Owen RodriguesOwen Rodrigues is a junior at Beacon Charter High School, and this is his first time working on a production at Beacon as well as his first theatre production. He is excited to branch out of culinary and explore theatre. He is thankful for the opportunity to join the production and hopes he does a good job. He also looks forward to returning for the next production. He wants to thank Ms. Razza for providing him with the opportunity to be a part of this show.

Shun ChangShun Chang is a junior visual arts student at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts. They have been a part of several productions both in and outside of Beacon, and in this show, they are working on the tech crew. They said they love the process of bringing a show to life and are excited to support their peers in exploring their shared passion for theatre. Shun enjoys being immersed in all forms of art and is happy to be a part of this production. In the future, Shun hopes to be on stage rather than behind the scenes.

Calvin EmidyCalvin Emidy is a junior culinary student at Beacon Charter High School. He has performed in a few stadium theatre productions in the past, but this is his first time participating in a Beacon Theatre production. He is excited to be a part of the show.

Sound Operator
Sol LoweSol Lowe is an eleventh-grade visual arts student at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts. This is both his first year at Beacon and his first production. Despite being new to the school and theatre as a whole, he is very grateful for the opportunity to explore new skill sets and work with the production cast. Sol is hopeful to continue experimenting with different art mediums and to advance further as an artist through his newfound experience in theatre.

Jayden CainJayden Cain is a sophomore at Beacon Charter High School. This is her second production with Razza, but her first time working in tech. She is very excited to experience the other side of theatre.

Cecilia DancauseCecilia is in her first year at Beacon. She’s excited to be a theatre student and to have the opportunity to help with costume design for this show. She can’t wait to participate in future productions.

Sophia Hildebrandt Sophia Hildebrandt is a tenth-grade theatre student at Beacon and is very excited to be a part of the tech crew for this production. Her experience both backstage and in the spotlight comes from her stage performances in Chicago, Legally Blonde the Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone, and many more. Aside from performing, Sophia enjoys reading, writing, baking, and all things pink.

Jazmin Fortes Jazmin Fortes is a tenth-grade theatre student at Beacon. This is her first time working on a production. She is very excited to be involved and feels that this might be something she wants to do more in the future.

Lyann GarciaLyann Garcia is a junior culinary student at Beacon. This is their first time assisting with props. Lyann has experience in prop making from middle school and is completely comfortable getting their hands dirty. At home, they really enjoy crafting and would like to thank Ms. Armstrong and Ms. Szabo for supporting them in the creation of the meteor for The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals.

Allyson LoringAllyson Loring is a sophomore at Beacon Charter High School and is working on tech for The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals. This is her first time doing tech for any show, but she is excited to help put together a great production and hopes it turns out well! She would like to thank her parents for finding the time to bring her home from rehearsal, and also Ms. Razza for putting together an amazing show. Enjoy!
