The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals - High School Edition Cast
Casey Bromage (Paul)Casey Bromage is a senior at Beacon Charter High School and is excited to make his second appearance on the Beacon stage as the guy who doesn't like musicals in The Guy Who Didn't Like Musicals. Previously at Beacon, he has been part of the build crew for Mamma Mia! and portrayed Dr. Conners in Hush Little Celia, Don't Say a Word. He also has stage experience as Horton the Elephant in When I Grow Up's Seussical the Musical, staged in 2019 in West Warwick, RI. He is excited to play this role alongside his best friends and to close out his high school theater career on a high note.
Bre'aun "Moose" Aikens (Bill)Moose is a senior at Beacon and an artist who enjoys all forms of art, from illustration to creative writing to theatre. They have appeared in previous productions such as The Motorist in CLUE! On Stage, Bash in Time Freaks, Skye in Mamma Mia!, and most recently Todd in Hush Little Celia, Don't Say a Word. Moose would like to thank their family, friends, and wonderful teachers, Ms. Razza and Ms. Armstrong, for another amazing opportunity!
Shaytara Lopez-Ortiz (Emma)Shaytara is in her senior year at Beacon and is excited to be involved in her fourth production. Previously, she appeared as Miss Scarlett in CLUE! Live on Stage, Principal Wolf in Time Freaks, and Pepper in Mamma Mia!. She was also seen as the Bride Ancestor in The Addams Family with When I Grow Up Theatre. When not performing, Shaytara enjoys playing tennis, practicing the violin, and spending time with her friends. She would like to thank her friends and family for all of their support, and Ms. Razza for this great opportunity!
Adrianne Chambers (Charlotte)Adrianne is a senior at Beacon Charter High School and is gracing its stage for the second time. Previously, she has been part of the tech crew for three productions, including CLUE! Live on Stage, Time Freaks, and Mamma Mia!. She also played the role of Dr. Griffin in Hush Little Celia, Don't Say a Word. She is extremely excited to be part of this cast and to continue learning and gaining insight into the theater world! She would like to give a huge thank you to the wonderful director and producer, Ms. Razza and Ms. Armstrong, for their continuous support and for helping her step out of her comfort zone. Another thank you goes to her two biggest supporters, Gabriella Jeter and Julianna Chamberlain, for their constant encouragement and reassurance.
Liam P. Boulay (Ted/ Coffee Jerk)Liam P. Boulay is a junior at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts. Previously, he has appeared as Sam in Beacon's Mamma Mia! and as Father in Hush Little Celia, Don't Say a Word. Outside of Beacon, Liam has graced many stages. His favorite roles have been the Mad Hatter in Alice in Wonderland at the Assembly Theatre, Wickersham #3 in the Stadium Theatre's Seussical the Musical, and Grandpa Joe in Wonka Jr.. Outside of theater, Liam enjoys writing screenplays and watching movies (like a nerd). He would like to thank this wonderful cast for making the show as fun as it could be, and Ms. Razza for giving him this opportunity.
Chase Belisle (Sam/ Greg/ Co Dance Captain)Chase is a sophomore at Beacon Charter High School. He has appeared in many productions at the Stadium Theatre, including ensemble roles in Elf, Madagascar, and The Lion King, young Tarzan in Tarzan, Curly in Peter Pan, King of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, and Tweedledum in Alice's Rock and Roll Adventure. At Beacon, he has performed in Clue as an additional cop and in Mamma Mia! as a featured dancer (as well as Skye for opening night). He started as an assistant stage manager for Hush Little Celia, Don't Say a Word and was later promoted to stage manager. Chase has been dancing for 8 years in a variety of styles and has been on a competitive team for 4 years.
Grace Togher (Professor Hidgens)Grace is a junior at Beacon Charter High School and is making their musical debut in The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals. Previously, they assisted with technical elements during Hush Little Celia and Mamma Mia!. They are very excited to be part of this cast and to make connections with new people! They would like to thank their wonderful teachers, Ms. Razza and Ms. Armstrong, for supporting them and fostering a welcoming environment. They would also like to thank their friends in the cast for helping them step out of their comfort zone and onto the stage!
Tatyannah Smith (Green Peace Canvasser/ Infected Teen/ Cop #3)Tatyannah Smith is a junior at Beacon Charter High School and is making her musical debut in The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals. Previously, she played the role of Celia’s mom in Hush Little Celia. She is extremely excited to be part of this production and hopes you all enjoy the performance that the entire cast has poured their hearts into! She would like to give a huge thank you to the amazing director, Ms. Razza, who has been a wonderful mentor and a mother-like figure. She would also like to give a big thanks to the cast and crew for making this a fun and enjoyable experience. Enjoy the show!
Lilly Faucher (Alice/ Leighton)Lilly is a freshman at Beacon Charter High School and has a strong passion for singing and songwriting. Recently, she has begun exploring her newfound love of theatre! She has starred in The Jungle Book at The Stadium Theatre and has taken acting classes in North Carolina. Lilly would like to give a big thanks to Ms. Razza and Ms. Armstrong for making all of this possible, and another thanks to her family and friends for cheering her on!
Olivia Fournier (Mrs. Davidson/ Mark)Olivia Fournier is a junior at Beacon Charter High School and is very excited to be part of The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals. Previously, she made her theatre debut as Sophie in last year's production of Mamma Mia!. She looks forward to expanding her experience in theatre and would like to give a huge thanks to Ms. Razza for giving her the opportunity to be a Visual Arts student in Theatre. She also wants to give a special thanks to her friends and family for encouraging and supporting her to continue doing what she loves, and to the cast and crew for making this show so special.
Adamaris Castillo (General Macnamara)Adamaris Castillo is a junior at Beacon Charter High School. She is very excited to play General MacNamara and be part of this amazing production. She previously played the Unexpected Cop in CLUE! On Stage and Lisa in Mamma Mia!. Adamaris would like to thank her teachers, Ms. Razza and Ms. Armstrong, for allowing her to be in this production and hopefully many more! She would also like to thank her friends and family for encouraging her to be part of this show. Being part of this production has been a lot of fun, and she hopes you enjoy watching the show as much as she has enjoyed being in it!
Zoe Garrison (Zoey)Zoe Garrison is a senior at Beacon Charter High School and is making her musical debut in The Guy Who Doesn’t Like Musicals. Previously, you may have seen her as part of Hush Little Celia, and she plans to be part of more productions in the future! She is thrilled to be part of this cast and the overall production. She would like to give a huge thank you to the wonderful director and producer, Ms. Razza and Ms. Armstrong, for their continuous support and for helping her step out of her comfort zone. Samantha Sipaque (Nora)Sam Sipaque is a sophomore at Beacon Charter High School who enjoys her time in theater. This is her very first production, and she is very excited to be a part of it! She would also like to show her appreciation to Ms. Razza and Ms. Armstrong, and a special thank you to her mom for encouraging her to join and be part of this show.
Peightyn Romano (Homeless Man/ Smoke Club Kid/ Chad)Peightyn is a freshman at Beacon. She has previously appeared as Ursula in The Little Mermaid review and Batgirl in The Con, both with Founders. Peightyn would like to thank her friends and family for being so supportive. She would also like to thank her amazing teacher, Ms. Razza, for this opportunity and express her gratitude to this fantastic cast. She can’t wait to do more shows together! Lastly, she would like to give a special shout-out to King Liam and Queen Taty.
Brooke Gorman (Deb/ Steve)Brooke is a freshman at Beacon Charter High School. Brooke's previous roles include the Baseball Ancestor in The Addams Family: The Musical, Bagheera in Jungle Book: The Wrath of (Shere) Kahn, the Dungeon Master in The Con, and a milkmaid in Beauty and the Beast. She is very excited to be working with such an amazing group of people. She would like to give a big thanks to her amazing director and teacher, Mrs. Razza. Brooke would also like to thank her mentor, Shaytara, for being someone she could look up to, and, of course, she would love to thank King Liam.
Leila Sylvestre (Melissa)Leila is a freshman at Beacon Charter High School, and this is her very first production! She is so excited to be a part of this amazing cast and to work with the fantastic director, Ms. Razza. She spends most of her time dancing and would like to thank Ms. Razza for working with her dance schedule, and her mom for driving her back and forth so she can continue to pursue her passions!
Lillah Joyce (Obnoxious Teen/ Stu/ Cop #1/ Ron/ Co Dance Captain)Lillah is a junior at Beacon Charter High School. They have appeared in previous productions, including as an additional cop in Clue! Live on Stage, Double Dubs in Time Freaks, a featured dancer in Mamma Mia!, and as part of the ensemble in Hush Little Celia, Don't Say a Word. They have been dancing for 14 years in various styles and are excited to be part of another production.
Michael Lanoue (News Narrator/ Featured Soldier)Michael is a freshman at Beacon Charter High School. Last year, he portrayed "Grimsby" in Founders' The Little Mermaid musical showcase. Michael has also been in chorus for 3 years and is currently taking vocal lessons. He enjoys playing volleyball, singing, and drawing in his free time. Special thanks to his cat, Root Beer, his mama, Mr. Emmett, and his friend, Adrienne.
Faith Chattman (Donna)Faith is a sophomore at Beacon Charter High School. This is her first show with Beacon, but she is no stranger to the stage and has performed in multiple outside productions, such as James and the Giant Peach with Rhode Island Stage Ensemble. She would like to thank her mom for being able to pick her up after rehearsal, and she would also like to thank her family for always believing in her, no matter what.
Hannah White (Dan/ Soldier)Hannah is a freshman at Beacon Charter High School for the Arts. She previously worked tech for Founders Academy’s The Con in April 2024, and she will be appearing as Belinda Cratchit, along with other roles, in Rhode Island Stage Ensemble’s A Christmas Carol this coming December. Hannah is very excited to participate in this production of The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals! She enjoys music and dancing and hopes to pursue a degree in Theatre Arts and Education at Boston University. She would like to give a special thank you to Mr. Emmet for getting her this far and for helping her gain the confidence to step on stage again.
Dorothy Piekarski (Cop #2)Dorothy is a junior theatre student at Beacon Charter High School and is excited to be involved in her third Beacon production. Previously, she has been seen as part of the ensemble in Mamma Mia! and Time Freaks. Dorothy would like to thank her friends and family for their continuous support, and Ms. Razza for this opportunity!
Isabelle Sirois (Additional Ensemble/ Nurse)Isabelle is a junior at Beacon. This is her first production and she is so happy to be apart of it!
Melanie Terrazas (Additional Ensemble)Melanie is a freshman at Beacon Charter High School and is making her stage debut in The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals. She is extremely excited to be part of the cast and to continue learning and growing as an actress! She has been a dancer for 10 years and also enjoys playing the piano and singing. She would like to give a huge thank you to the director, Ms. Razza, for welcoming her into Beacon’s theatrical production with open arms. She would also like to thank her family and friends for their love and support.
Jaila Rivera (Additional Ensemble)Jaila is a 9th grader at Beacon Charter High School. The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals will be Jaila’s stage debut, and she is thrilled to be working with this amazing cast! She would like to thank her best friends, Liam, Brooke, and Peightyn.
Adrienne Comastra (Additional Ensemble)Adrienne is a freshman at Beacon Charter High School who has performed in The Con as Grannie and Assistant 1, and in The Little Mermaid Review as Jetsam. She enjoys practicing the guitar in her free time and also likes to watch hockey. She would like to give a shout-out to her mom, Mr. Emmett, Ms. Razza, and her friend Michael.
