Mamma Mia! Cast

Jayden is a sophomore at Barnstable High School. Previous BHSDC credits include backstage crew for: A Christmas Carol and The Little Mermaid. Jayden is a part of the backstage run crew and he enjoys building the sets and props and working on anything that needs to be fixed. Outside of drama, Jayden likes to fish, bike, play video games and go to the gym with his friends. Before joining drama club, he would work with his grandpa fixing and painting houses, so being on the crew is a great fit! Jayden would like to give a shoutout to his two sisters!

Mel is an 8th grade student at Barnstable High School. Previous BHSDC credits include Gentleman #2 in A Christmas Carol this past fall. When not on stage, Mel enjoys singing in the BHS choir, vocal jazz and show choir as well as hanging out with friends and family!

Azaria is an 18 year old senior at Barnstable High School and this is her first show with the BHSDC. She loves singing and dancing and is so excited to be apart of such an amazing production!

Matthew is a senior at Barstable High School who will be performing in his ninth and final BHSDC production. He has most recently appeared in A Christmas Carol (Ebeneezer Scrooge) and The Little Mermaid (Skuttle). It has been a bittersweet experience being a part of the drama club; the memories he made along with all the friends he gained along the way. Saying goodbye to the BHSDC is going to be an impossible ask. He and the entire cast have put their entire hearts and efforts into this production and hope the audience has just as fun of an experience watching the show as we did putting it together.

Lily is a senior at Barnstable High School. This is her first show with the BHSDC and she is so excited to be a part of this amazing production. Previous acting credits include Constance in Rock of Ages at the Academy of Performing Arts in Orleans. When not on the stage, Lily enjoys singing, working for the Town of Barnstable's Summer Leisure program and spending time with family and friends. This year, Lily has served as the president of the BHS chorus; an ensemble she has been a part of since 8th grade! Lily hopes that you encourage your kids to stay in the performing arts and continue to support future BHSDC productions! Enjoy the show!

Eliza is a sophomore here at Barnstable, and in her third year with the BHSDC. She is the treasurer of the Drama Club and has been in the productions of Newsies, Mean Girls, and the Little Mermaid. She is so excited for everyone to see all of the hard work and dedication come together and hopes you enjoy the show!

John is a sophomore at Barnstable High School and this is second year in the BHSDC. Previous credits include: stage crew for The Little Mermaid, and featured ensemble in A Christmas Carol. John is a self-appointed understudy for every role in Mamma Mia! and enjoys any rehearsal where he is able to step in.

Layla is an 8th grade student at Barnstable High School. Mamma Mia! is her first BHSDC production and her first theater experience! When not on the stage, Layla enjoys playing volleyball, singing in the BHS chorus and cooking!

Lylah is a Senior at Barnstable High school. This is her fourth BHS drama club production and she loves being able to make Sophie her own. In the past she was Jane Banks in Mary Poppins and Flounder in The Little Mermaid. Lylah is so excited to be a part of the extremely talented Mamma Mia cast. She is super grateful for all the connections she’s made and new friendships and can’t wait to bring this show to life with her amazing cast members.

Sam Crowley is a 17 year old senior at BHS. She has been a part of the BHSDC since her eighth grade year helping out with tech crew; running spotlight, doing mic switches, and running the sound board. She is so excited to end her senior year by helping out with sound for Mamma Mia.

Izabela is a junior at Barnstable High School. This is her sixth show with the Drama Club, previously being in Shrek: The Musical, Mary Poppins, Mean Girls, The Little Mermaid, and A Christmas Carol. She loves spending time with her family and hanging out with friends, and she loves watching movies with her dog. Izabela loves listening to ABBA, singing, and playing her piano during her free time.

Delilah is a senior here at Barnstable High School, as well as co-vice president of the Drama Club, along with Josie Jordan. She has been a devoted member of this club since its revival in her eighth grade year, performing in seven shows thus far, this one being her eighth. She has performed as Fairy Godmother in “Shrek: The Musical,” Leaf’s Mother in “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” The Bird Woman in “Mary Poppins,” Sniper in “Newsies,” Dawn Schweitzer in “Mean Girls,” Ursula in “The Little Mermaid,” and Charles Dickens in “A Christmas Carol.” Aside from theatre, Delilah has cultivated her love for music through singing in various choirs, most recently being the Senior Southeast and All Cape Music Festivals. In her free time, Delilah loves singing, reading, hanging out with her brothers, and watching copious amounts of reality television. This club means the world to her, and it’s a little bittersweet having to leave it behind. However, she is so grateful for the years she’s spent in this community, and for the friendships she’s made along the way. There is no other place she would rather have spent the past five years. She’d like to thank her family (especially her brother, whom she has finally convinced to join the club,) her friends, and the amazing cast and crew who have worked tirelessly to make this show amazing. She would also like to give a HUGE thank you to Mrs. Barth, Mrs. Salgado, Mrs. Basco, Mrs. Styche, and Mrs. Hill, for believing in her for all these years, and for devoting so much time and effort to this club’s success. Though she is sad to say goodbye to the stage, she is incredibly excited for this final performance, and she hopes everybody enjoys the show!

Kayro is a Senior at Barnstable High School and is super excited to conclude his high school theatre career with Mamma Mia! You may recognize him from the BHSDC 2024 production of “Mean Girls” where he played “Damian.” Kayro is planning on majoring In linguistics and neuroscience but won’t rule out some theatrics in his college career as well! A lover of art and music, he also expresses himself by playing double bass, painting and learning languages.

Livia is a ninth grader at Barnstable High School. This is her third production with the Drama Club. Her previous roles have been ensemble/maids in The Little Mermaid, and Flower Woman, Fezziwig Daughter/Raucous Lady in A Christmas Carol. She is so excited to be part of Mamma Mia! and for everyone to see this amazing production.

Founder of Encore Music Productions, drummer Michael can be seen and heard performing at many theaters and venues around Cape Cod, most notably at the Cotuit Center for the Arts where he frequently directs and produces original shows such as Women ROCK!, Piano Men, Bandstand, We Are the Champions, Sweet Home Chicago and coming this August, Highways and Heartstrings, a Musical Tribute to Jimmy Webb!

Sarah Fernandes is a percussion-focused musician, beginning band director at Barnstable United Elementary School, and Assistant Director/Percussion specialist with the BHS Pep/Marching Band. Sarah is a graduate of Bridgewater State University with a BA degree in Music Education. Her musical journey has been shaped by her prolific music educators she has had throughout her music education as a student. Sarah is always enthusiastic to bring any work of music to life for audiences of all ages. With plenty of experience performing across the East Coast, she has established herself as a dedicated musician - not only to who she may play with, but instilling those values to her students as well. Arianna is an 8th grade student here at Barnstable High School and she is ecstatic to be in Mamma Mia! Arianna auditioned for the first time ever and proudly secured the role of Ali. Previously, Arianna was in this fall's BHSDC production of A Christmas Carol. When away from the stage, Arianna loves to spend time with her friends and family. She also enjoys singing at her church and doing bible studies. Mamma Mia! is Arianna’s favorite show and she hopes everyone loves the show.

Elizabeth is a junior here at Barnstable High School and this is her fifth year with the BHSDC. In past shows she has been on the stage and has played Caroline Krafft in “Mean Girls”, Ike in “Newsies”, ensemble in “Mary Poppins”, and a Duloc performer in “Shrek: The Musical”. Elizabeth also did stage crew for “A Haunting We Will Go”, and sound crew for “The Little Mermaid” and “A Christmas Carol”. Elizabeth’s love for theater started when she attended The Hudson Valley Conservatory in elementary school. She has always had a love for music and plays the flute and piccolo in the BHS Band. This show holds a special place in her heart and she hopes you enjoy Mamma Mia!

Audrey is a senior at BHS and this is her fifth year being a part of the Barnstable High School Drama Club. She is also co-president of the club with Matt Brancaccio. Audrey loves Mamma Mia and she hopes you love our production too!

Josie is a senior at Barnstable High School, and is so excited to have been given the opportunity to play Tanya! She’s forever grateful for all of the memories made in the BHSDC, from the Baconators to the worm attempts. She’s especially thankful for all the work her mom has put into the past several shows behind the scenes–thank you!!!

Ian Maguire is the Co-Director of the BHS Concert Band & BHS Jazz Band, Director of the BHS Marching & Pep Band, and the Contemporary Ensemble and Guitar teacher here at Barnstable High School. Ian graduated from Bridgewater State University in 2018 with a BA in Music Education and received his Masters in Music Education from the American Band College in 2023. Ian loves having music in his life and being able to show and teach it to others. Music has played such a large role in his own happiness, that experiencing it everyday with colleagues, students, and friends is a true gift. Outside of work Ian enjoys being with his family and friends, traveling, and working on his house, among other things. He hopes you thoroughly enjoy the performances from these hardworking and dedicated music students!

Summer is a sophomore who is also an extremely energetic and passionate woman in theatre. She has been in the BHSDC since her 6th grade year, so since 2021. She's been in Shrek, Mary Poppins, Newsies, Mean Girls, The Little Mermaid, A Christmas Carol, and is oh so very excited for the newest production of Mamma Mia! She's on the BHSD varsity tennis team and is an A+ student who strives to do the very best in everything she can possibly put her mind to. She is also a proud member of the BHS Marching Band and plays Quads (Tenor drums).

Harry is a senior at Barnstable. He was most recently seen on the BHSDC stage as Prince Eric in The Little Mermaid last March and wishes all the best for everyone in BHSDC!

Aberle Norton is a junior at Barnstable High School. This is her sixth show with the BHSDC, and second year as the drama club’s Historian. Aberle has been a part of Mary Poppins, Newsies, Mean Girls, The Little Mermaid, and A Christmas Carol with the drama club! She is also a part of the BHS Chorus, String Orchestra, and Theater Production class. Aberle has been a voice student at house of jam for 7 years, and has studied theater at Cotuit Center for 6 years. She has also done improv classes with Harwich Junior Theater. Aberle was in The Wizard of Oz in 2019, with Cotuit Center for the Arts, and Cape Symphony. She loves being a part of this drama club, and is so excited for you to see the show!

Clara Nunes is a 17 year old junior at Barnstable High School and is so excited for her fifth year with the BHSDC! Some of her past roles around the Cape include Flounder in The Little Mermaid, Little Red Riding Hood in Little Red Riding Hood, and Clytemnestra in Agamemnon’s Return Home! Clara is so thrilled to be apart of this amazing show and cast, and is so grateful to Mrs.Barth and everyone who made this memorable experience possible again!

Evelynn Pacella is an 8th grade student at Barnstable High School. After years of watching BHSDC plays, Mamma Mia! is her first time ever participating in a play or musical. She is very excited for this production!

Pietro Ramos is an 8th grade student at Barnstable High School. This is his first year working on lights, and he is very excited to be a part of the production of Mamma Mia!. Outside of theatre, Pietro is a cellist who plays with the Cape Symphony Youth Orchestra and enjoys being involved in music and the arts. He hopes you enjoy Mamma Mia! and all the hard work put in by the Barnstable High School Drama Club.

Layla is a junior at Barnstable High School. Previous BHSDC credits include: Tommy Boy in Newsies & Carolyn Penmark in A-Haunting We Will Go.

Sebastian is a senior at Barnstable High School. Previous BHSDC credits include: Scuttle in last spring's production of The Little Mermaid, Aaron Samuels in Mean Girls, Romeo in Newsies & Flint in A-Haunting We Will Go.

Ana is a 15-year-old a sophomore here at Barnstable High School. This is her first time ever doing theater and she's really happy because she loves theater.

David is a Junior here at BHS, and this is his 2nd year with the BHSDC. In the past, David has worked on the crew for The Little Mermaid and A Christmas Carol, and he is excited to take on this new role! Outside of the BHSDC, David enjoys spending time in the music department, where he plays in the BHS Concert, Jazz, and Pep band all on his Alto Saxophone, along with playing guitar in contemporary Ensemble. David also loves being involved with music outside of school, as he plays in 3 bands, where he often plays guitar or bass. David is overall very excited for this production of Mamma Mia and hopes to do his best, and that everyone enjoys the show!

Laura is a 8th grade student here at Barnstable High School and this is her first performance with the BHSDC. Outside of drama club, Laura is also a part of the BHS choir and band.

Lillian is a 13-year-old, 8th grade student at Barnstable High School and making her debut with the BHSDC in Mamma Mia! Previous acting credits include the BIS Drama Club's production of Honk Jr. When not on stage, Lillian loves to play the violin, sing, and dance!

Addie is a freshman at Barnstable High School and no stranger to the BHSDC stage. Previous credits include: A Christmas Carol, The Little Mermaid and Mean Girls.

Eamon is a sophomore at Barnstable High School. He can’t wait for everyone to see Mamma Mia! He grew up listening to ABBA which makes it a lot easier for him to memorize. He has been part of the BHSDC for two years, doing crew for The Little Mermaid and being Bob Cratchitt in A Christmas Carol. Eamon loves to dance with the whole drama community and get in a flow, especially Voulez-vous. He hopes you enjoy the show and thanks everyone for coming.

Gabi is an 8th grade student at Barnstable High School. Mamma Mia! is her first BHSDC production and her first time being in a musical. When not on stage, Gabi enjoys singing in the BHS choir, playing flag football and hanging out with her friends and family. She hopes you enjoy the show!

This is Eddie's debut performance with the BHS Drama Club and his first show! He never really thought he’d be doing something like this, however, he has grown to really enjoy being with the people in the BHSDC and will definitely be continuing for the years to come!

Avery is a sophomore at BHS and has been in theatre here for 4 shows now including Mamma Mia! She was in the ensemble for Shrek and The Little Mermaid. She was also Theater Manager and Gentleman #1 in A Christmas Carol. In this production, she is more than excited to play Father Alexandrios! She enjoys many musicals, her favorites being West Side Story and Chicago. As an artist, any form of art means a great deal to her. She hopes that you enjoy our production of Mamma Mia!

Shelby Thompson is a 8th grader at Barnstable High School. This is her first production with the BHSDC. She is also currently preparing for The Lion King Jr. at BIS, as adult Nala. She loves figure skating and horseback riding, which she has been doing since she was a young child. She is so excited to be a part of Mamma Mia! and for everyone to see the amazing production that everyone has worked so hard for.

Andy Troyanos has been a musician and educator for the past 35 years on Cape Cod. He has played mostly on the Cape, but has performed as far away as Ireland and for President Clinton, Bruce Willis and more. Performances include working with Stage Door Canteen big band, Naked Jazz and this year, AT3. You may have also seen him playing in shows at Cotuit Center for the Arts, Falmouth Theater Guild and many other venues including local high schools. The shows include Piano Men I and II, Muskrat Love I and II, Bridges of Madison County, Next to Normal, Matilda, Rent, Legally Blonde, Always Patsy Cline, Hadestown, Shrek and Footloose, Trio and more. Andy lives in Sandwich with his wife, Debra and has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.

Nariah Turner is a senior at Barnstable High School, and this year she served as the Drama Club Secretary. This will be her eighth show with the BHSDC. You might have seen her most recently in Mean Girls as Mrs.George, The Little Mermaid as Jetsam, or A Christmas Carol as Mrs.Cratchit. And now you will be seeing Nariah lead as Donna in the BHSDC production of Mamma Mia! She is so excited to portray this role in her final performance. The BHSDC means so much to her after being a part of the club for the last five years, creating life long memories with peers and teachers, shaping her into the person she is today. Nariah would like to say thank you to everyone for supporting her through this journey, and is looking forward to sharing this final experience with her cast, crew, directors and all of you!
