Playwright, Sound Designer
Carlin Thomas
Carlin Thomas is a Phoenix-based playwright, actor, and jack-of-all-things-theatre who is thrilled to see this passion project come to life! They are also a professional audio describer with a passion for expanding accessibility in the local theater community, and an interdisciplinary artist in a host of mediums. This play came to life during the 2020 lockdown, thanks to a workshop run by John Perovich, so it holds a special place in their heart and represents what they love most about making art—turning pain and struggle into something meaningful. They are performing in Ronin Theater's Twelfth Night Dec. 13-17, and will be directing their short play BLESSED FRUIT in B3's Feminist Theater Festival in January, with plenty more on the horizon. Keep up with them on social media @carlincreating on most platforms.

Ilana Lydia

Stage Manager, Lighting Designer
Monika Lydia
Monika (she, her, hers) is B3's resident floppy person. Pre-COVID, in another life, in the faraway lands of Alberta Canada, she worked at a sex-positive center and ran a queer women of color event. It did okay. She's proud of it, though, and it was a big part of her coming out process. This is Monika's first time Stage Managing and designing anything and she is overjoyed to be a part of this project. She usually looks good-ish and wants to thank all the cast and crew (and her wife of course!) for making her look really really good at stuff and things:]

Costume, Makeup and Hair, and Weapons Designer
Eliana Burns
Eliana is a big lover of all things theatre. She’s an actor, director, and designer. She’s very excited to being doing costumes, makeup, and weapons for Coming Out for Christmas! She’s a B3 board member, and loves contributing to their work producing underrepresented stories. Coming Out for Christmas is a very fun script for her, as she grew up reading the Hunger Games, Harry Potter, and Divergent. She loves Carlin’s framing in this script, and is very grateful to have been able to work on it. If you enjoy this show, she hopes you’ll consider coming out to B3’s First Festival of Feminist Theatre, where she is the organizer and is directing.
