Sean Hogan (Sweeney Todd)Sean Hogan is thrilled to be performing in another production with ASOB, and cannot contain his excitement to bring SWEENEY TODD to life with this incredible cast and crew! You may have seen him as Glenn in THE WEDDING SINGER with ASOB as well as Brad in SUFT’s production of THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW. He would like to thank this wonderful company, his director (Bryan Brown), his family and friends, and this wonderful piece that he hopes you thoroughly enjoy!
Jessica Preactor (Mrs. Lovett)Jessica is a dynamic and versatile performer known for her captivating stage presence and powerful vocals. Originally from Baltimore, Jessica has graced stages across the Eastern Shore, showcasing her talent in a variety of musical theatre productions. She earned her degree in musical theatre from AMDA (American Musical Dramatic Academy), where she honed her skills in acting, singing, and dance. Jessica’s notable credits include the roles of, Peter Pan in PETER PAN, Aldonza/Dulcinea in MAN OF LA MANCHA, Leisl in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, Eliza Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY, and Princess Winnifred in ONCE UPON A MATTRESS. Jessica would like to extend her heartfelt gratitude to her husband, parents, family and friends for their unwavering love and support. Their encouragement fuels her passion and inspires her to pursue her dreams. Most of all, she would like to dedicate all these performances to her late Grandmother, Ina Berman and late Great Uncle, Stanley Block.
Ben Fisler (The Judge)Ben is a professor of theatre at Harford Community College, as well as a professional actor whose recent credits include THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW with Iron Crow Theatre, ROMEO AND JULIET and Improv with Frederick Shakespeare, and BODY OF WORK with Prince George's Shakespeare in the Parks. He is currently a regular player with Dinner Detective and Whodunnitforhire (both available for parties and special events). A scary skin-headed, heavily tattooed Ben is part of the feature suspense thriller, BEYOND YOUR CONSCIOUSNESS, with Gold Hive Media.

Deacon Withers (Anthony)Deacon Withers is a Junior at the University of Maryland, College Park studying Vocal Performance. He is excited to join his first production with ASOB in one of his favorite shows of all time. His previous recent credits include JD in HEATHERS with Authentic Community Theatre, Oom-Pah in THE BRAVADO with Victorian Lyric Opera Company, and music director for MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD with Wildwood Summer Theatre. He’d like to thank his family, friends, and colleagues for all the support!
Gage Wright (The Beadle)Gage is thrilled to make his debut with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore. He started back up in the theater world about three years ago after hanging up the dance shoes when he joined the Marine Corps in 2015 (getting out as of Dec 1st this year). Since then, he's been afforded the chance to put his spin on some amazing characters! Recent favorites include Clyde Barrow in BONNIE AND CLYDE, Jesus in JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, and Stacee Jaxx in ROCK OF AGES. Gage is thrilled to tackle this incredibly difficult, non-standard tenor (baritone + countertenor?) role of the Beadle, and hopes you will love and hate him in equal parts! Gage's next project on the books will be participating in a staged reading of "Playing Juliet, Casting Othello" as Chris/Romeo/Cassio right here for ASOB on January 31st, so come on out to see it!
Ember Everett (They/Them) (Beggar Woman)They would like to thank the creative team for giving them this opportunity to bring this incredibly complex character to life. Aaron Partin (Toby)Aaron is returning to the stage for his third show with Artistic Synergy of Baltimore. You may have seen him previously in the ensemble for PIPPIN or as Zeke in GOOSEBUMPS. Other favorite credits include Seymour in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS (CCBC), Charlie Brown in YOU'RE A GOOD MAN CHARLIE BROWN (Stand Up For Theatre), Augustus Gloop in CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (Stand Up For Theatre), and Billy Boy Bill in URINETOWN (Rockville Musical Theatre). Matt Wetzel (Pirelli / Ensemble)Matt has performed in a number of productions throughout the DMV area. Recent credits include The Cat in the Hat in SEUSSICAL and SpongeBob in THE SPONGEBOB MUSICAL (Silhouette Stages), and Mendel in FALSETTOS (Maryland Theatre Collective). Rachel Bagley (Ensemble)Rachel Bagley is very grateful for this opportunity. Favorite roles include Ulla in PRODUCERS (State Theater of HDG) and Holly in THE WEDDING SINGER at ASOB. Sophia Basso (Ensemble)Sophia is delighted to be returning to ASOB for their production of SWEENEY TODD in concert. Sophia has been performing since she was nine and she attended Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts for their theatre magnet program and currently works as an adult assistant at a middle school. Some of Sophia’s other roles include Steward in MURDER ON THE NILE, Player in PIPPIN, The Duchess in Goya: EN LA QUINTA DEL SORDO, Barbara in BARBECUE, and Sister Mary Lazarus in SISTER ACT. When she’s not performing Sophia loves to attend comic conventions, work on cosplay projects and chill with her dogs while she watches TV and scrolls on Pinterest. Sophia hopes you all enjoy the show and thanks you all for coming to support the theatre. She would like to give a shout out to the cast and crew for all their hard work. Break legs everyone!

Previous roles include Mitch Mahoney in PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, Dickon in THE SECRET GARDEN, Mother’s Younger Brother in RAGTIME, and, his award-winning original role, Junior Counselor in MALADAPT. Emily Talmadge (Ensemble)Emily is thrilled to be a part of this fantastic cast for her fourth ASOB production! She says you’re in store for one incredible show with such incredible talent! When not on stage, you can find her at home soaking in all the crazy chaos and love that comes from being a mom of 2 littles. (And she wouldn’t trade any of it for a second!) Brittany Trexler (Ensemble)Brittany is thrilled to be returning to ASOB for SWEENEY TODD. She has previously been seen at ASOB in PIPPIN (Leading Player), AIDA (Ensemble/Dance Captain) and GOOSEBUMPS: THE PHANTOM OF THE AUDITORIUM (choreographer). She has also performed with STS in RENT (Mimi) and in the original musical ROBERT & COMPANY (Ensemble). Off stage, Brittany loves her cats, pole dancing, and board games.
