Carolyn van Mantgem (Alice Spencer)
Carolyn van Mantgem is a senior at Arcata High School and this is her 3rd year performing with AAI. Carolyn has been a part of musical theatre as long as she can remember. A fun fact about her is she loves identifying plants and fungi.
Riley Ellyson (Alfred / White Rabbit / March Hare)
Riley Ellyson is a graduating senior at Arcata High School. This is his second musical theatre production and he hopes to participate in many more! One fact about him is that he has a massive collection of PEZ dispensers.
Jessica Kaber (Red Cross Nurse / Queen of Hearts)
Jessica Kaber is a sophomore at Arcata High. She took a break from theater, and came back last year for the Eureka High show. She plays multiple instruments, including; Tuba, Trombone, Baritone, and a few others.
Grace Humphreys (Tabitha / Cheshire Cat)
Grace Humphreys is a Junior at Arcata High School and is a second-year in the Arcata Arts Institute theater program. She has been performing since age eight and loves to sing, dance, write songs and be a member of the FFA. A fun fact about her is that she loves to scuba dive.
Phoenix Trinity (Harold Pudding / Mad Hatter / Knave of Spades / Mock Mock Turtle)
Phoenix Trinity is 17 years old and in 11th grade. They have been doing aerials and dance since they were 8 years old and theatre since they were 4. One fact about them is that they love K-pop.
Bean John (Dodgy / Duchess / Mock Mock Mock Mock Turtle)
Sabine (Bean) John is a sophomore at Six Rivers Charter High School. She has been performing in local theatre productions since she was 9 and dancing ballet since she was 3. She loves spending time with her cat Shasta and crocheting gifts for her friends.
Taylor Nada (Clarissa / Mock Mock Mock Turtle / Knave of Clubs)
Taylor Nada is a third year in Arcata Arts Institute, but has been acting her whole life. She has been a part of many local performances including Wizard of Oz and Anne of Green Gables through Humboldt Light Opera Company and 21 Chump Street and Footloose through AAI. She also had the pleasure of attending he Califonia State Summer School for the Arts this past summer with a focus in theater. She is grateful for all the opportunities she has received and looks forward to pursuing theater in her future.
Ruby Smith (Nigel / Doormouse)
Ruby Smith is a sophomore at Six Rivers Charter High School. She has been doing local community theater for about six years now. Besides musical theater, she also loves making jewelry, playing music, and spending time with her two pet guinea pigs. She is so excited to be back onstage with AAI this year.
Erika Homan (Angus / Caterpillar / Knave of Hearts)
Erika Homan is a Senior at Arcata High School and is a year 2 in AAI Theater. She began participating in theater productions in 6th grade and has enjoyed doing so ever since. One fun fact about Erika is that the majority of her instagram reels consist of fluffy baby cow videos.
Bodhi Jennings (Dr. Butridge / King of Hearts / Jabberwock)
Bodhi Jennings is a junior at Arcata High School and this is his third year participating in the AAI musicals. Bodhi enjoys playing sports and spending time outdoors.
Aiden Alvarez (Caterpillar 2)
Aiden is a sophomore at Arcata High School. He has been doing theater since first grade. One thing that he likes to do after school is jujitsu.
Ava Jones (Queen of Diamonds)
Ava Jones is a Junior at Six Rivers Charter High. She played in the pit band for last years musical and is excited about getting on the stage. Ava loves being silly with her friends.
Mariah Hall (Mock Turtle)
Mariah is a senior at Six Rivers Charter High. She is in her third year of AAI Theatre. She is afraid of escalators.
Corwyn Zapper (Young Alfred)
This will be Corwyn Zapper's first time on stage with the Arcata Arts Institute, and he is very excited. Corwyn has performed in two other school plays with Jacoby Creek Elementary, and enjoys singing and performing for others. A fun fact about Corwyn is that he learning to play the drums!
Eleanor Mather (Young Alice)
Eleanor Mather has preformed in many school skits and plays including snippets from the new Wonka and a Mid Summers Nights Dream. She loves to sing and dance and is excited to be a part of Alice by Heart.
Ari McLeod (Ensemble )
Arianna McLeod is a sophomore at Arcata High School. She has loved performing, dancing, and singing since she was young. One fun fact about her is that she is learning how to crochet.
Ana Dens (Ensemble)
Ana Dens is a freshman at Arcata High. She has been doing dance performances since she was very little and this is her first time acting in a full length production. A fun fact about her is that she loves to read.
Isaac Cseh (Ensemble)
Isaac Cseh is a senior at Six Rivers Charter High School. He is a third year in AAI music and a first year in AAI theater. Isaac has been performing most his life and loves music and acting. A fun fact about Isaac is that he is a lobster at heart.
Marcel Kelly-Hacala (Ensemble)
Marcel Kelly-Hacala is a Junior at Six Rivers High School. He has been in theatre since he was 6 and has been in AAI for 2 years. Marcel enjoys making jewelry in his free time for his small business.
Malia "Marz" Andersen (Ensemble)
Marz is a sophomore at Arcata High. She has been doing theater since she was four years old. She loves musicals and is excited to be involved in another one.
Taylor Hines (Ensemble)
Taylor Hines is a Sophomore at Arcata High School they are new to the theater world. They love to learn new skills and acting. A fun Fact about them is they enjoy Hiking and Painting.
Rowan Nelson-Wood (Ensemble)
Rowan Nelson-Wood is a sophomore at Six Rivers Charter High School, and has been doing theater for as long as they can remember. They have known how to fence for 5 years, but missed the only opportunity to use it in a show due to covid.
Maeve Sanders (Ensemble)
Maeve Sanders is a junior at Arcata High School and a first-year in the AAI program. A fun fact about her is that she grew up in a dual immersion program, so she grew up speaking both Spanish and English.
Violet Miller-Wuest (Ensemble)
Violet Miller-Wuest is a senior at Six Rivers Charter High School. This is her third year in theater and second year in the props crew. Violet likes birds and writing stories.
