Stevie Jenkins (Leo Frank)
Stevie is thrilled to be returning to the Alban stage with his wife Sam Jenkins. He started theatre at the Alban in 2011 and has been in many shows since then. Stevie and his wife Sam have done traveling children’s theatre and outdoor drama together. He teaches musical theatre at the Alban Arts Academy and is a 5th grade teacher in Charleston. When not on the stage, he enjoys playing piano, writing, collecting, and spending time with his wife and 9 month old son Freddie. Stevie would like to give all glory to God.
Sidney Wolfe (Lucille Frank)
Sidney is thrilled to be playing the role of Lucille Frank in Parade, a role that has been at the top of her dream role list for years. This marks her 4th production with the Alban Arts Center, where some of her favorite roles have included Sabina (The Skin of Our Teeth) and Sally Bowles (Cabaret). Audiences have also seen her on the Paramount stage as Elsa (Frozen), Anastasia (Anastasia), and Natalie (Next to Normal). Parade is Sidney's 16th production since returning to the stage after a five-year hiatus. When she's not performing, she works as a Financial Budget Lead at UK KDMC, enjoys spending time with friends, and can be found blasting '80s music on a road trip.
Olivia Hayes (Mary Phagen)
Olivia is so excited to be portraying Mary Phagan! This is her 5th show with The Alban, previously portraying Logainne in Spelling Bee, Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins Jr, Maureen in Honk Jr, and a nun in Sister Act. Other roles include Glinda in The Wizard of Oz and the Sour Kangaroo in Seussical Jr. with Children’s Theatre of Charleston. She also appeared as Zaneeta Shinn in The Music Man with The Charleston Light Opera Guild. Olivia is a graduate of George Washington High School, and attends The College of William and Mary.
Kevin Johnson (Frankie Epps/Young Soldier)
Kevin Johnson is honored to be making his debut with the Alban Arts Center as Frankie Epps and the Young Soldier in Parade. He is a proud graduate of Transylvania University’s Theater program. Most recently, Kevin appeared as Olaf in the Paramount Player’s production of Frozen. Some of his favorite theatrical credits include Louis Ironson in Angels in America, Kyle Carter in Exit, Pursued by a Bear, and Jeff Bowen in [title of show].
Joel Walker (Tom Watson)
Xander Mani (Hugh Dorsey)
Xander Mani, upcoming sophomore at West Virginia University, is excited to portray the role of Hugh Dorsey. You may have seen him previously as Barfee in last summer’s production of “Spelling Bee,” at the Alban, or as Horton in CTOC’s production of Seussical Jr.
Drew Mackey (Britt Craig)
Drew is excited to return to the Alban stage after last summer’s “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” where he played the role of Chip. Drew is an August 2026 graduate of West Virginia University, earning a Bachelors of Arts in Music Business and Industry. During his time at WVU, Drew was a member of the 2024 cast of Rodgers and Hammersteins’ “Cinderella,” as well as Chamber Singers and Opera Theatre. He also spent his final two years of college rebuilding and music directing Take Me Home A Cappella, the universities top (and at the time, only) a cappella group. Off the stage, Drew spends time teaching individual students and groups across the state of West Virginia.
Andrew Lee Adkins (Gov. John Slaton)
Andrew is very excited to be returning for his 5th production with the Alban. Previously portraying Benny in Rent, Cliff in Cabaret, Joey in Sister Act, and Assistant Directing Shawshank Redemption. Andrew has also portrayed numerous roles with the Charleston Light Opera Guild. He is employed as an IT Project Manager for the Supreme Court of Appeals of WV.
Dewey Fletcher (Judge Roan/Old Soldier)
Dewey is excited and proud for you to see Parade! You may have seen him recently in Grinch (Old Max), Heathers (Big Bud Dean), Cabaret (Hans/Rudy/Gorilla), and Into the Woods (Steward). Other notable roles are Spelling Bee (William Morris Barfèe), Gentleman's Guide (D'Ysquith Family), and Addams Family (Uncle Fester). He has worked backstage on multiple productions for multiple groups. He has also helped as assistant director for different groups.
Sam Jenkins (Mrs. Phagan/Townsperson)
Sam Jenkins is excited to be sharing the stage with her husband, Stevie for this production! A native of Beckley, WV, she is an alumni of Theatre West Virginia outdoor drama and holds a BA in Theatre from Greensboro College. Sam is the Education Coordinator and instructor at the Alban Arts Academy, and a member of the Factory Reset Improv Troupe.
Joshua Jimmerson (Jim Conley)
Joshua is making his Alban Arts Center Debut as Jim Conley. While he is not often seen singing and acting, his artistic background as a professional banjoist aided in the transition. He participates along with his loving wife, Kristen Jimmerson, who is thoroughly experienced in theater and plays Mrs. Sally Slaton. He works as an Environmental Enforcement official for the State of West Virginia.

Dakota is very excited to be a part of this very powerful performance called Parade! Dakota has done multiple productions since then including, Phantom of the Opera, Little Shop of Horrors, Godspell and several productions as the lead in Rocky Horror Show. Dakota is excited for everyone to see what they have been working on!
Angela Jones (Angela)
This is Angela's first time as part of the cast for a production, though she's played in the pit orchestra for many shows over the years. The most recent was last summer's Alban production of "Spelling Bee." She's a member of several local music groups, including two classical choruses, a barbershop chorus and quartet, and a community band. Angela is honored to work with this talented group of people and be a part of a show with such an important message. (And she is amused to present a character also named Angela.)
Kylie Curnutte (Essie)
Kylie Curnutte is thrilled to perform in Parade The Musical! She is an upcoming 8th grader in the Kanawha County Virtual Program. This would be her 2nd Alban Arts show, with her most recent being Dare To Dream Jr! When not on stage, Kylie spends her time painting, spending time with her friends, and redesigning her room! Huge thanks to their family, friends, and the incredible creative team for making this possible!
Emily Swingle (Iola Stover)
Emily Swingle is an upcoming freshman at Baldwin Wallace Conservatory of Performing Arts as a music education major. She has previously been seen in shows with The Alban Arts Center, The Charleston Light Opera Guild, and The Children's Theatre of Charleston. She was most recently seen in Matilda Jr. as Miss Honey. Emily is excited to portray Iola Stover for you!
Sophia Austin (Monteen)
Soph is a soon to be freshman at GW high school who enjoys theatre, music, painting, crafts, and all things creative! This is their second show with the Alban, and eighth show in general. They’re SO excited to participate in this production of Parade as Monteen!
Mia Morgan (Peavy/Townsperson)
Mia Morgan, a senior at Poca High School, is excited to be apart of the ensemble in Parade. This production will be Mia’s fourth main stage production here at the Alban. Aside from being on stage, Mia also works as an intern at the Alban Arts Academy. Outside of theater, Mia enjoys playing live music, traveling, and volunteering in her community.
Sam Phalen (Luther Rosser/Townsperson)
Sam is psyched to return to the Alban stage in their 8th year with the company as Luther Rosser! Some of their favorite past roles include Leaf Coneybear in "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" (2025), Kate in "Brighton Beach Memoirs" (2024), and Ouiser in "Steel Magnolias" (2023). When not onstage, Sam is teaching puppetry at the Alban Arts Academy, working the front desk at the Clay Center, or working on writing one of two dozen short story ideas. They would like to thank our costumer Zoey for taking a chance on our first show together.
Kristen Jimmerson (Sally Slaton/Townsperson)
Kristen is making her Alban Arts Center debut with her role of Sally Slaton. She has played roles in various shows, most notably an angel in “Mary”and the nurse in “Jack the Ripper”. When not on the stage, she can be seen behind the scenes assisting with props and spotlights, and occasionally directing. Outside of theatre, Kristen works as a Wraparound Facilitator and High Fidelity Coach. She is also pursuing her Master’s degree in Social Work. Kristen is happy to be performing in this show alongside husband, Joshua Jimmerson.
Jen Austin (Ivey/Townsperson)
Jen is so happy to join this incredibly talented cast for her second show with the Alban! Most recently, she was in the ensemble for King Lear. She has also portrayed Mrs Gloop in the CTOC production of Willy Wonka, and a citizen of Whoville in How The Grinch Stole Christmas. When not sharing the stage with her theatre kid Soph, she can be found behind the scenes helping with set, costumes and props.
Lyndsey Crumbley (Starnes/Townsperson)
Lyndsey is premiering in her first Alban show, and is delighted to be part of something as pivotal and impactful as Parade. They live in Charleston with their fur babies and partner Atlas, work as a case manager for the Arc of the Three Rivers, and enjoy horror movies and making epic playlists. Lyndsey has previously been in shows in Tennessee and North Carolina, including Rocky Horror Show, Singin in the Rain, and the straight play July House. She hopes this show encourages conversation and some shifts in perspective. Break all the legs, cast!
Bowie Owens (Guard/Townsperson)
Bowie is a 15 year old student and upcoming Junior at Nitro High School, and is having a great time with the cast and crew of Parade. This is their 4th show with the Alban, their favorite roles have been Jay in Descendants, and Player 3 in Dare To Dream Jr! When Bowie is off stage, they love to craft, sing, hangout with friends, and traveling with family! They are also apart of Girl Scout Troop 1828. They are very happy with how the show has turned out can't wait to do more shows with their theater friends and family.
Susanna Morris (Townsperson)
Susanna is thrilled to be back at The Alban in one of her bucket list shows. Previously she has performed at The Alban in Sister Act, Twelth Night, Cabaret, Taming of the Shrew, and Children of Eden. Outside of the theatre, she is an avid baker, reader, and traveler. She hopes you enjoy watching this show as much as we've enjoyed working on it.
