Refund/Exchange Policy

Tickets purchased for Alban Arts Center productions including, but not limited to, performances at the Alban Arts and Conference Center (theater), Alban Arts Academy (academy), and any temporary venue are non-refundable. The only time a ticket will be refunded is in the event of a show cancellation by the Alban Arts Center and a mutually agreed upon replacement date cannot be made. When possible, exchanges will be allowed for the same production on a different performance date with at least 24 hours notice. Exchanges will not be allowed with less than 24 hours notice except in the cases of inclement weather and will be handled in accordance with that portion of this policy. Performances with reserved seating are sold ahead of time and your same seats may not be available for your new date. The box office will work get you in the same general area but final seat selection will be at the discretion of the theater staff based on availability. Refunds are not given due to inclement weather if the show is running as scheduled. “The show must go on” is not only an industry motto but, with local theater, it is often not possible to reschedule a performance date. We try to ensure that every performance goes on as planned. If inclement weather is impacting you, we will work with you to switch your tickets to another performance date of the same production, if available, or move to another production in the same theatrical season. If you decide to move performance dates your new tickets will be issued for the same seats if they are available. If the same seats are already sold your replacement seats will be at the discretion of the theater. Effort will be made to seat you in the same general area when possible. Requests for exchanges must be made within 14 days of a missed performance. You can exchange tickets by emailing [email protected], sending a message on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/AlbanArtsCenter or by calling the theater between 12pm and 6pm Monday-Friday at 304-721-8896. Requests made beyond 14 days or outside of the theatrical season purchased cannot be considered. Selling of tickets on any of our platforms including Facebook is prohibited for the safety of all parties involved. Posts or comments will be deleted without explanation. The selling of your own tickets through your own platform is at your discretion. However, the theater will not be involved in or settle any disputes regarding the selling of tickets and only the original purchaser of record will be entitled to any refunds or exchanges allowed by this policy.
