The Electric Company Theatre is a collective of artists dedicated to nurturing our craft through the exploration, development and presentation of classic, contemporary, and original texts, providing a forum for community connection, and creating a  platform for change through the unique experience of live theatre.

For the last 20 years, our team has been producing high-quality, award-winning theatrical experiences. We have taken shows Off-Broadway, won awards at International Fringe Festivals, produced shows in conjunction with the California Humanities Project, ran a successful Children’s Theater program, and produced countless well-attended theatrical experiences for people of all ages (over 200 productions in the last 17 years). As the theatre in residence of the Muckenthaler Cultural Center, we have become a destination for intimate theatre in Orange County.

We are attempting to tell beautiful stories beautifully and traditional stories in non-traditional ways. We believe that theatre is best done in community and we need you to be a part of our stories. Join us at the Muck!
