The What

The Applause Players is an educational community theatre program for kids and teenagers ages 8-17. We are a branch of Applause Studio for the Performing Arts in Everett that puts on a full musical production every year!

Auditions are held in September with rehearsals beginning twice a week in October, and our production goes up in the Spring. Throughout the process our actors work with theatre professionals to build their skills in acting, singing, and dancing, and learn what to expect from the process of a theatrical production. 

We work to make this community a safe and inclusive space where kids and teens have the space to grow as people and discover themselves alongside their growth as theatre artists.

The Why

The Applause Players started with theatrical education as its foremost goal - creating opportunity for young and curious actors to engage with the theatrical production process while building their confidence over time.

Auditions are held every Fall at Applause Studio, and announcements for them go up at the beginning of Summer. We also hold a week long camp every year to give students the opportunity to get a taste of our program as well as gain familiarity with our upcoming show.
