Allstate Community Theater of Fredericksburg
Managed by Stage Door Productions
The Allstate Community Theater of Fredericksburg was created using a generous grant in excess of $250,000 from the Manfredi Family Insurance Agencies. It is managed by Stage Door Productions. The goal of the Allstate Community Theater is to develop a single facility that can be shared by many theatrical groups, combining resources and efforts to bring live theater to the community as a whole.
The facility is 6,000 square feet and includes up to 200-seats on 7-tiers overlooking a 44-foot main stage. The premises includes: Concessions Stand; Beer and Wine Bar; Lounge; Kitchen; Workshop; Dance Studio; Two-Rehearsal Rooms; Wardrobe with Laundry; Two-Dressing Rooms; Three Offices; Professionally Equipped Sound and Lighting Booth; Rotating Flats for Scenery; Full Lighting and Stage Surround-Sound Systems; and a Junior Workshop Stage with High-Top Tables.
Local theater groups who do not have a fixed home are encouraged to become partners in the facility, sharing resources and volunteer efforts to help reduce individual costs and to ensure long-term solvency of the arts in the community.
