Welcome to the SGHS Chorus Homepage!

The South Granville High School Choral Program has a strong tradition of excellence. The opportunity to experience the thrill of performance is something that the students will remember all of their lives.  Our program has expanded to include auditioned and non-auditioned choirs who perform a wide variety of styles of music including concert choir, a cappella and show choir! In addition to Fall & Spring Choral Concerts featuring members of the entire program, our 2 competitive show choirs,"Chord on Blues" (Treble Division) & “Shades of Blue” (Mixed Division) perform locally and compete yearly in the NC Associaion of Scholastic Activities Show Choir Competition, as well as regionally in show choir competitions in Virginia! Viking Voices, our concert choir, also participates annually in the NCMEA Choral Festival at Meredith College.
