Matilda Cast

Hazel has loved doing productions with Ziegfeld such as James and the Giant Peach as well as summer camps. She also loves writing, knitting, and snuggling her cat, Stormy.

I love theater because I love performing in front of an audience, especially my friends and family. I also love dancing and singing on stage!

I love theater because it’s fun and I get to meet new people. The crew and production teams are so good. They make it a fun process.

I started performances at Ziegfeld three years ago. I like everything from the energy backstage to the applause from the audience. Rehearsing together has been a great way to make new friends.

This is my 8th show with the Zig! My favorite role to play so far was Smee, in Peter Pan. I love theater because of the friends I make!

Blakelyn is an 11 year old fifth grader who loves all things music. She's super fun to watch a show with because she never misses subtle humor and she catches all things funny with a giggle.

I love theater because I get to express my feelings in new ways through acting. I also love all the friends I make while doing shows at The Zig.

Korben has loved being in theater at the Zig. He enjoys singing and dancing with all his friends. Some of his favorite roles have been playing Jay in Descendants, Prince Christopher in Cinderella, Mayor in Wizard of Oz and an Elf in Elf the musical.

This is Quincey 7th show for the Zig. Some of her favorite roles have been Young Elsa in Frozen Jr., being a Puppeteer in James and the Giant Peach, and playing a munchkin in Wizard of Oz.

The Zig is like my second home and I have loved all the opportunities I have been given here and being with my amazing and talented friends! Some of my favorite roles have been Sir Robin (Spamalot), Rafiki (Lion King), Jan (Grease), Cinderella (Cinderella), and Little Red (Into the Woods).

Eden is excited to be doing Matilda with her big brother Sam and Kluge cousins. She is an artist and enjoys doing theater because acting is a healthy way to express different emotions.

Sam Roundy is thrilled to be in Matilda with the Ziegfeld Academy with his younger sister Eden! Sam’s other Zig roles include Willard/Footloose, Sonny/Grease, Gomez/Addams Family, Narrator/Into the Woods and Prince/Cinderella. He enjoys playing the piano, tap dancing and hugging his mom.

I love the theater because a live performance plays an important role in lifting spirits, bringing people together, and inspiring us all. I love being a part of a creative process and being able to use my talents.

I love theater because I get to spend so much time with my amazing friends and create the best memories! Some of my favorite roles include Gavroche in Les Miserables, Gaston in Beauty and The Beast and Sebastian in The Little Mermaid.

I think it's super fun to learn the songs and dances and being able to see all of the characters come to life and learning more about a new character every time I get to practice. Ever since Nora was tiny she’s loved to dance, sing, and perform. She’s a voracious learner and loves to read, Matilda being one of her all-time favorite books.

Theater is one of the most important parts of my life because of all the bonds I make and experiences I have! Performing with your best friends is an unmatched feeling and will never not be the coolest thing ever.

My name is Cache, I am 11 years old, and this will be my 4th show at the Ziegfeld. My interests include: acting, drawing, space, reading, camping, meeting new people, and spending time with family.

Colin loves to sing, dance, and act! He's been performing since he was two years old, modeling on catwalks and at photo shoots in Shanghai China. He is so excited to be able to be in Matilda!

Ella has been acting for two years and she adores the theater! She loves making new friends who share her passion for the stage. She's excited to be making her debut performance at the Zig.

I love theater because it is such a great community that has so many opportunities to get to know awesome people and grow your talents. It is such a great outlet that teaches me so much more than just singing and dancing around the stage.

I love musicals. I love animals, mostly my Guinea pig. I like hanging out with my friends. Also ice skating.

I love theater because of the actors! Being surrounded by people who love the arts as much as I do, makes everything so much better! I love the backstage jokes, the bloopers, but especially the friendships! I have enjoyed every project I have done with The Zig! See you at the next show!
