Radium Girls Cast

Ruthie Brown (Grace Fryer)
Ruthie is a Senior who is delighted to be part of Trojan Theatre’s Radium Girls. She has previously performed in Murder on the Orient Express, Almost, Maine, The Matchmaker, Things I Know to be True, and Much Ado About Nothing. She also enjoys performing in YSHS musical productions, recently portraying Fastrada in Pippin. Outside of theatre, Ruthie is passionate about music and enjoys participating in various clubs and honors societies. She would like to thank her family and friends for their constant support, as well as the directors, cast, and crew for their hard work and guidance!
Reece Busse (Arthur Roeder)
Reece is a Senior this year at YSHS and in his seventh Trojan Theater production. You may have previously seen him as Cornelius Hackl in The Matchmaker, Dan/Pete in Almost, Maine, Ben in Things I Know to be True, Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing, or the Casting Director in Bad Auditions by Bad Actors. He also enjoys participating in YSHS musical productions, most recently portraying Pippin in Pippin. He also enjoys participating in concert band, concert choir, International Thespian Society, Tri-M music honor society, and YS Singers. He is also a student athlete and runs varsity cross country! He is very thankful for his fellow cast members and his amazing directors and hopes that lots of legs are broken!
Helena Farah (Katherine Schaub)
Helena Farah is a sophomore and is thrilled to be apart of her second Trojan Theater show! You may have seen her performing in Much Ado About Nothing as Antonia or in the musical, Pippin, as Berthe. Besides theater, she also enjoys participating in marching band, YS singers, Model UN, Trojan Gazette, York County Honors Choir, Tri-M Music Honors Society, and National English Honors Society. Helena would like to thank the directors for this opportunity, and the cast and crew that made this production possible!
Whitley Kamarauskas (Irene Rudolph / Katherine Wiley)
Whitley is a Senior at York Suburban High School and is ecstatic to be performing in Radium Girls with the Trojan Theater Club. She most recently performed in the school's fall play Much Ado About Nothing (Leonata), and has also appeared in Things I Know To Be True (Pip Price), The Matchmaker (Malachi Stack), Almost Maine (Sandrine), and She Loves Me. Whitley also participates in many in-school extracurriculars like Marching Band, Spin Club, TSA, Tri-M Music Honor Society, YS Singers, and ITS. She would like to thank all directors, supporters, and her amazing cast mates and crew!
Ryan Beschler (Edward Markley / Tom Kreider)
Ryan is a senior who is very excited to perform in his last year of Trojan Theatre. Despite having only acted for two years (in Much Ado About Nothing and now Radium Girls) Ryan has been involved in all capacities of theatre since freshman year and is a member of International Thespians Society. Outside of theatre Ryan participates in a multitude of music ensembles including concert, jazz, and marching band, York Youth Symphony Orchestra, Second Avenue Brass, and more. Ryan is also involved in Tri-m Music Honors Society where he serves as President and German Honors Society where he serves as co-president. Ryan wants to thank everyone involved in the production for their hard work and perseverance.
Dashiell Bedell (C.B. "Charlie" Lee)
Dashiell is a Senior who is delighted to perform in his final fall show! He has performed in 5 previous productions with Trojan Theater (Murder on the Orient Express; Almost, Maine; The Matchmaker; Things I Know to Be True; Much Ado About Nothing). Outside of theater, Dashiell performs in the Marching, Jazz, Concert, County, and PMEA Bands as well as in Pit, Choir, Tri-M, and YS Singers. He is also a member of National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, and International Thespian Society. He wants to thank the directors for being spectacular and wishes his castmates break all their legs!!
Ian Cline (Von Sochocky / Drinker / Photographer / Civilian)
Ian is a sophomore here at YSHS and has learned so much from his third production with Trojan Theatre. Along with theatre, he is involved in numerous other extracurriculars at YS, including: the YSHS musicals, colorguard/YSMB, TSA, Model UN, concert choir, and YS singers. Outside of school, he enjoys all things film, as well as writing, painting, photography, walking/running, and music. He considers himself very artistically inclined and is always eager to try new things. Ian has opportunities lined up for himself and can’t wait for what the rest of the year brings. He wishes the best to all those he has worked with!
Lucy Thompson (Alma McNeil / Clerk / Citizen))
Lucy Thompson is a freshman, and she is thrilled beyond belief to be acting in her first Trojan Theatre production. Lucy has previously been part in theatre productions such as The Wonder in Alice, The Neverending Story, Dear Edwina, and more. Outside of theatre, Lucy is involved in concert choir, orchestra, YS Singers, String Ensemble, Envirothon, various PMEA county festivals, and is a manager on the middle school track and field team. She would like to thank not only her phenomenal directors and castmates, but also her mother, who has supported her through everything.
Samara Dalton (Diane Roeder / Marie Curie / Venecine Salesman))
Samara is a sophomore at YSHS and is overjoyed to be performing in her third production with Trojan Theatre. Previously, you may have seen her as Margaret in Much Ado About Nothing and both Charlize and Melissa in Bad Auditions by Bad Actors. Additionally, Samara is involved in the school’s musicals, where she has so far played Catherine in Pippin. She also participates in concert choir, concert band, marching band, YS Singers, York County Honors Choir, Model UN, Trojan Gazette, and is a member of Tri-M Music Honors Society. Samara would like to thank everyone who made this production possible!

Mekhi is a junior at York Suburban High School. He is excited to be a part of his fifth production with Trojan Theater in his third leadership role. Mekhi is involved in many extracurriculars within the school: TSA, Model UN, Marching Band, and Science Olympiad. He would like to thank the great cast, crew, and directors.
Olivia Black (Harriet Roeder / Factory Girl / Citizen)
Olivia is a freshman and is very thankful and is honored to be in this fall show! This is Olivia’s first production with Trojan Theater and first production overall. Outside of theater, she is involved in Chorus, Student Council, and Impact Foundation. She would like to thank her supportive parents that deal with driving, the staff working hard to make this production possible, and the cast and crew for all the hard work!

JR is a senior and is very excited for his last fall show of high school. JR has participated on stage for other shows such as The Matchmaker, She Loves Me, Much Ado About Nothing, and Murder on the Orient Express. JR is involved in many of the school’s extracurricular activities, such as YS Singers, Tri-M, ITS, and TSA. He would like to thank all the cast, crew, and directors for putting on an amazing show.
Noah Spagnola (Jack Youngwood / Lovesick Cowboy)
Noah is a sophomore participating in his second year of Trojan Theater, but this is his first year with a role. He participated in Much Ado About Nothing and Pippin as a part of build crew and is still assisting with the production of the set when he’s not in a scene during Radium Girls. Along with theater, Noah is in various other extracurricular activities: marching band, Technology Student Association, Model UN, and Trojan Volleyball. He is thankful for all the help he has gotten from his castmates and is excited to perform with them in future productions.
Sara Youcheff (Sob Sister)
Sara Youcheff is a junior at YSHS and is excited for her third year in Trojan Theater! She has participated in previous productions such as Much Ado About Nothing, The Matchmaker, Bad Auditions by Bad Actors, and Things I Know to be True, and musical productions of She Loves Me and Pippin. Outside of theater, she is in many organizations including Model UN, NHS, Tri-M, YS Singers, Student Council, York Country Honors Choir, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. She would like to thank the directors, cast, and crew for all of their hard work in this production, and she hopes that you enjoy the show!
Olivia Wang (Societywoman / Board Member #2 / Citizen))
Olivia Wang is a sophomore at York Suburban high school and is so excited to perform her 3rd play with Trojan Theater, her 6th production overall. She’s featured in Much Ado About Nothing as Conrade, BABBA as Josh, Pippin as Theo, YSMS Theater, and other community theater productions. Other YSHS extracurriculars include Color Guard (YSMB), Orchestra, Tri-M Music Honor Society, Spin Club, and GSA. She’d like to thank the students and the directors for their time, effort, dedication, and is so excited to perform Radium Girls for the public!
Brooke Allen (Factory Girl / Board Member #3 /Customer /Citizen)
Brooke is a freshman at YSHS and is very excited to be in her first production with Trojan Theater. Outside of theater, she is involved in Student Council, Impact Foundation, Model UN, Chorus, YS singers, YSMB, and Tennis. She would like to thank her parents for taking the time to drive her and would also like to thank the directors for an incredible experience!

Carolyn is a sophomore at York Suburban High School and is excited to be part of her first Trojan Theatre show. Other than theatre, Carolyn is involved in other extracurriculars like concert choir, Color Guard (YSMB), GSA, and DND. She enjoys learning about history and art, and outside of school she enjoys films, nature, reading, and drawing. She is thankful to everyone she’s worked with and is excited to perform in Radium Girls!
