Julian Deleon
Julian is thankful to bring another fantastic production to the Workshop stage! Julian studied acting at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City. From there he became an Educational Marketing Intern at American Place Theatre and worked on several productions with Galli Theatre NY. Some of his favorite credits include Marley (A Christmas Carol), Arnold (Torch Song) and Horton (Seussical). He is now the Director of Education at Workshop Theatre and works with several theatres around town. This show is dedicated to my mom. The guiding light and solid ground that has kept me going even when I thought I couldn’t. I love you.

Jordan Harper
Jordan Harper is so thrilled to be music with Workshop Theatre after a short hiatus! She recently moved back to the Columbia area after living in Tuscaloosa, AL for 6 years. A few of her favorite music directing experiences include Newsies (AL 2022), Beetlejuice Jr (AL 2025), Into the Woods Jr (Workshop 2017 and Town 2026), and Hairspray Jr (Workshop 2016). When she isn't music directing, Jordan teaches middle school chorus and private voice lessons. She is so incredibly proud of this cast and hopes you are as impressed with their talent and heart as she is.

Katie Hilliger Page
Katie Page is thrilled to be choreographing for Workshop again after a soulful 20+ year relationship with the theatre! A graduate of the University of South Carolina's Dance Education program, Katie has been blessed with a rich career of unifying and uplifting through the power of art and occasionally performing along the way! In addition to her dance/theatre endeavors she is a full time Realtor, farm owner, photographer, traveler, competitive athlete, and encourager. The message of this show transcends Bomont as Dance truly is the most healing and enriching thing for which we ALL should create more time. Everybody Cut! Jeni McCaughan
Jeni McCaughan (Producer, Props Mistress) is proud to be part of the Footloose production team. For the last 20+ years, Jeni has been actively volunteering as a producer and props mistress at Workshop. In her daytime role as Executive Director of Workshop Theatre, Jeni is committed to cultivating artistic growth within the community and to providing a safe space for actors to create beautiful art. Some of Jeni’s favorite shows that she has produced and been the props mistress for are Caroline, or Change, Disney Camp Rock, The Color Purple, The Wedding Singer, Kinky Boots, and The Producers. Jeni would like to express her heartfelt thanks to the talented cast and crew for sharing their time and talents with us. She is also grateful to Julian, Jordan, Katie, Andie, Amy, Lily, and Patrick for their hard work and dedication to the show. As always, a big thank you and lots of love to her husband, Dean. Jeni would like to thank her village, especially Tiffany, Andie, Jess, Lisa, Trinity, Taylor, and her Ladies for their constant love and support. BIG love to you all! Amy Husmann
Amy Husmann (she/her), Stage Manager, is thrilled to be a part of the Footloose team. She recently worked backstage at Workshop Theatre on The Producers, and The 25 th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee; and at Trustus Theatre on A Case for the Existence of God. She holds a BA and MA in Theatre Arts from San Francisco State University. Many thanks to the cast, crew, and production team for making this a rockin’ experience; with a big shout-out to her husband, Rob, and kids, Xander and Xavier, for their love and support. And in the spirit of the Reverand Shaw, she tries to follow the example set forth in Mark 14:52.

Andie Nicks
Andie Nicks (Costume Designer) is a Columbia native. She has a BA in fine arts from the University of South Carolina-Aiken (USCA) and a MFA in costume design from Southern Illinois University (SIU). She is a licensed Cosmetologist after studying at Paul Mitchell the School Columbia. She is the co-owner of the Etsy boutique, Theodocia Originals. She has worked at Workshop since 2022, designing multiple shows including Hairspray, Arsenic & Old Lace, Sordid Lives, Hundred Days, A Chorus Line, Kinky Boots, and The Color Purple among others. Previous design experiences include Children of Eden (SIU), Pinkalious (McLeod Summer Playhouse), and Murder for Two (Cape Fear Regional Theatre). Lily Stricklin
Lily Stricklin is thrilled to be working with Workshop Theatre for the first time. She is currently a junior at Dreher High School. Some of her favorite recent show credits include Much Ado About Nothing (Dreher), Stop Kiss (Dreher), and Hadestown (Dreher). She has also been in the Trustus Apprentice Company for two years. Lily would like to thank the cast and crew for such an uplifting and inspiring environment, and her family for pushing her to try new things and supporting her all the way through.

Patrick Faulds
Patrick Faulds (Set Design, Lighting Design) Part of Columbia College’s Cottingham Theatre staff since 1987, Patrick is currently the artistic technical director. Both an actor and designer, the New York native graduated from Morrisville College in New York with a degree in broadcast journalism. First appearing as a stunt performer in water ski shows over 50 years ago, he continued as an actor, magician, comedian, musician, and professional storyteller with hundreds of stage and television credits. Patrick met his wife Lorraine as a member of the cast of Guys and Dolls at the Friars’ Theatre where he played Benny Southstreet and she played Mimi. He would later perform the role of Nathan Detroit in the 1985 Town Theatre production of Guys and Dolls. As a designer for lighting, scenery, and special effects, he has hundreds of shows to his credits, including 40+ with Workshop Theatre. He has provided scenic and lighting designs for Academy Award winning director Delbert Mann and Tony and Grammy award winner Jennifer Holliday.

Tom Snow

Tom Snow has been making music, recording albums and writing hits for himself and other artists - on record, on radio, in the United States and all over the world - since the early 1980s.

He has twice been nominated for the Academy Award for Best Song from a Motion Picture: "Let's Hear It for the Boy" from Footloose (1984) and "After All" from Chances Are (1990); and he has twice been nominated for the Grammy Award: Best Album of Original Score written for a Motion Picture - Footloose soundtrack; and Song of the Year - "Don't Know Much."

He has released four solo albums: Country (Clean Records, 1971), Taking It All in Stride (Capitol Records, 1975), Tom Snow (Capitol Records, 1976) and Hungry Nights (Arista Records, 1982).

Tom's scoring work has appeared in films (Chances Are) and on television (Grand, Steel Magnolias, Teech, etc.) He has added songs to numerous motion pictures including Honey, I Shrunk the Kids, Footloose, The Butcher's Wife, Sing, Oliver and Company, About Last Night, All the Right Moves, Two of a Kind, Lion King 2: Simba's Pride, and Heart Like a Wheel.

Some of the artists who have recorded Tom's material include The Pointer Sisters, Olivia Newton-John, Diana Ross, Ray Charles, Kenny Loggins, Barry Manilow, Cher, Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt, Tina Turner, Joe Cocker, Levon Helm, Gladys Knight, Anne Murray, Ringo Starr, George Benson, Sergio Mendes, Deniece Williams, Bette Midler and Dusty Springfield.

His hit songs have been repeatedly honored with BMI Citations of Achievement for their radio popularity, songs like "Love Sneaking Up On You" (Bonnie Raitt), "Don't Know Much" (Linda Ronstadt and Aaron Neville), "If Ever You're In My Arms Again" (Peabo Bryson), "He's So Shy" (The Pointer Sisters), "Somewhere Down The Road" (Barry Manilow), "You Should Hear How She Talks About You" (Melissa Manchester) and "Deeper Than The Night" (Olivia Newton-John).

In 1986 Tom won the prestigious Robert J. Burton Award for BMI's Most Performed Country Song of the Year - Dolly Parton's "Don't Call It Love."

His latest projects embrace the worlds of pop music, motion pictures and the theatre (the stage adaptation of Footloose features nine new songs by Snow; he also contributed material for Amanda McBroom's Heartbeats). Snow contributed a song to Joe Cocker's 2002 release, No Ordinary World and songs on both of Christina Aguilera's English and Spanish language albums.

Tom Snow attended the Berklee College of Music and was awarded the Distinguished Alumnus Award in 2000. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

 

Dean Pitchford

Born and raised in Hawaii and graduated from Yale University, Dean Pitchford performed off- and on-Broadway (Godspell; Pippin) before turning to songwriting, screenwriting and directing.

Dean was nominated for four Academy Awards (winning the 1981 Best Song Oscar for "Fame," co-written w/ Michael Gore), three Golden Globes (winning for "Fame"), eight Grammys and two Tonys; his songs - recorded by such artists as Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston, Cher, Peter Allen, LL Cool J, Kenny Loggins, Hugh Jackman, Dolly Parton, Bette Midler and Martina McBride - have sold over 70 million records.

The musical stage adaptation (with Walter Bobbie) of his original screenplay for Footloose ran for more than 700 performances on Broadway and is now seen all over the world. Dean also provided the lyrics for Carrie: The Musical, which was produced in 1988 by the Royal Shakespeare Company -- first in England and then on Broadway -- and was revived in 2012 by New York's MCC Theater.

Dean's middle-grade novels, The Big One-Oh and Captain Nobody, are published by Putnam/Penguin; his performances of their audiobook recordings (Listening Library/Random House) were both nominated for Grammys. His third novel, Nickel Bay Nick, was published to acclaim in 2013, and Dean voiced that audiobook for Audible.com.

In 2019, the musical adaptation of his first novel, The Big One-Oh!, premiered at New York’s Atlantic Theatre with lyrics by Dean, music by Doug Besterman and a libretto by Timothy Allen McDonald. www.deanpitchford.com

Walter Bobbie

Walter Bobbie directed the New York productions of Bright Star, Venus in Fur, The Landing, Golden Age, School for Lies, Irving Berlin's White Christmas, Chicago, The Submission, Cabin Pressure, The Savannah Disputation, New Jerusalem, High Fidelity, The Other Woman, The Marriage of Bette and Boo, Sweet Charity, Twentieth Century, Footloose, Durang/Durang, For Whom the Southern Belle Tolls, and A Grand Night for Singing. He was artistic director of City Center Encores!, where he also directed Fiorello!, Chicago, Tenderloin, Golden Boy, No, No, Nanette, and Zorba! as well as the Carnegie Hall concerts of South Pacific and Carousel. Mr. Bobbie served for 12 years on the Board of the Stage Directors and Choreographers Society. He is the recipient of Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Tony Awards.
