Patrick Michae Kelly

Patrick Michael Kelly is a theatre artist born, raised, and based in Columbia, SC. Patrick trained with the Trustus Apprentice Company, South Carolina Governor’s School for the Arts and Humanities, the University of South Carolina, The Neo-Futurists, The New Coordinates, The Second City, and NYU Grad Acting. Recent directing credits include Hand to God, Boy About Ten, Jacob Marley’s Christmas Carol, A Streetcar Named Desire, and Sweeney Todd for Trustus Theatre, Gershwin’s Last Ride, Lot 13: The Bone Violin, and Tea Time for Theatre South Carolina, and Death of a Salesman for Workshop Theatre of South Carolina. Jeni McCaughan

Jeni McCaughan (Producer and Props mistress) is proud to be part of The Minutes production team. For the last 20+ years, Jeni has been actively volunteering as a producer and props mistress at Workshop. By day as Executive Director of Workshop Theatre, Jeni is committed to cultivating artistic growth within the community and to providing a safe space for actors to create beautiful art. Some of Jeni’s favorite shows that she has produced and been the props mistress for are Caroline, or Change, Disney Camp Rock, The Color Purple, The Wedding Singer, Kinky Boots, and The Producers. Jeni would like to express her heartfelt thanks to the talented cast and crew for their time and talents. She is also grateful to Patrick, Katie, and Chris for their hard work and dedication to the show. As always, a big thank you and lots of love to her husband, Dean. Jeni would like to thank her village, specifically Taylor, Lou, Hans, Andie, Tiffany, Jocelyn, and so many more for their constant support and love.

Chris Kruzner

Chris is thrilled to be part of another Workshop Theatre show. He has spent most of his time onstage for the last 30-ish years and has even Stage Managed shows and built sets and props. For The Minutes Chris is going behind the scenes and learning from Director Patrick Michael Kelly as the Assistant Director. I think you'll love this cast, crew and the story that takes place in a town called Big Cherry. Chris once again thanks his wonderful wife Loretta for being a temporary stage widow once again. AND big thanks to YOU for supporting the arts by buying a ticket or season membership at Workshop Theatre. Enjoy the show!

Katie Ohnesorge

Katie Ohnesorge (Stage Manager) is excited to stage manage The Minutes! It has been an honor to work with the production team and cast to bring this story to life. She recently traveled to Scotland for the Fringe Festival to stage manage and revise a brand new play called Seizure produced by Stage Fancy Productions. She has stage-managed in the Columbia area with Village Square, Town Theater, Workshop Theater, Columbia Children’s Theater & Ensemble Eclectica.

Original Creative Team

Tracy Letts has been a Steppenwolf ensemble member since 2002. He was awarded the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his play August: Osage County, which played on Broadway for over a year, following a sold-out run at Steppenwolf in 2007. August also enjoyed a sold-out engagement at London's National Theatre and a U.S. National Tour in summer 2009. Other accolades include five Tony Awards (including Best Play), an Olivier Award and six Jeff Awards (including Best Play).

Mr. Letts is also the author of Superior Donuts, which had its world premiere at Steppenwolf in 2008 and opened on Broadway in 2009; Man from Nebraska, which was produced at Steppenwolf in 2003 and was a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize; Killer Joe, which has been produced in Chicago, London and New York; and Bug, which has played in New York, Chicago and London.

He has appeared at Steppenwolf in Betrayal, The Pillowman, Last of the Boys, The Pain and the Itch, The Dresser, Homebody/Kabul, The Dazzle, Glengarry Glen Ross (also in Dublin and Toronto), Three Days of Rain, Road to Nirvana, Picasso at the Lapin Agile and the Steppenwolf for Young Adults production of The Glass Menagerie. Other Chicago stage credits include The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial (A Red Orchid Theatre), Conquest of the South Pole (Famous Door), Bouncers (the Next Lab) and his directorial debut at the Lookingglass Theatre with Great Men of Science Nos. 21 and 22. He also appeared in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? at Atlanta's Alliance Theatre, directed by ensemble member Amy Morton.

Television credits include: The District, Profiler, Prison Break, The Drew Carey Show, Seinfeld and Home Improvement. Film appearances include Guinevere, U.S. Marshals and Chicago Cab.
