The Addams Family Young@part Cast
Sam Weiss (Gomez Addams)Sam Weiss is an RNE graduate headed off to Elon University to continue his acting studies with a planned BFA in Acting. He has been in many shows with PCA Theater from online shows in his freshman year like Help Desk where he was a “helpful” clown, to in-person shows like his last one Lightning Thief where he was Luke Castellan. Sam has also done shows with Columbia Children’s Theater where he first started theater 9 years ago with none other than Director Julian Deleon and now Music Director Taylor Diveley. Sam Weiss says that working with Workshop Theatre has been the best experience he could have ever wished for, especially for his final send-off show. Sam would like to give a huge thanks to the staff and crew who let him into the theater and into their hearts as he prepares for his first and last Workshop Theatre bow. As Gomez would say, au revoir, adios, arrivederci, and goodbye to this new family I have found.
Rye Winecoff (Morticia Addams)Rye Winecoff is very excited to be back on stage, as Morticia, with Workshop Theatre in their prodution The Addams Family. They have been involved with numerous shows throughout the years with Workshop Theatre, CCT and school. Some of Rye's favorite roles have been Annabeth in The Lightning Thief: Percy Jackson the Musical (PCA), Emma Goldman in Ragtime (CCT) and student stage manager for The Wiz Jr. (MAC). Rye is a rising tenth grader in PCA at Richland Northeast. They are looking forward this show as well as future Workshop shows!
Elizabeth Anne Trobaugh (Morticia Addams)Elizabeth Anne Trobaugh has loved being part of Workshop summer shows since her debut as a “munchkin” in 2015. Since then she has enjoyed many summers onstage with Workshop with some of her favorite roles being Marlin in Finding Nemo Jr and Kasseem in Aladdin Jr. She would like to thank Mr. Julian for his leadership, Ms. Katie for being a great voice teacher and Ms. Jeni for being all the things at the theatre. When EA is not onstage she enjoys riding horses and being a part of the Sawyer Equestrian Barn family and the Hammond School Varsity Hunt Seat team.
Bates Trobaugh (Uncle Fester)Bates Trobaugh enjoys being onstage and making people laugh. Uncle Fester is one of his favorite roles to date and he has loved being able to “embrace his inner Addams”. He would like to the thank Mr. Julian and the production team for giving him this opportunity and his parents for always believing in him. When not onstage he is active in Scouting, TRUMC and also loves to wrestle.
Talon Price (Wednesday Addams)Talon Price is so excited for the opportunity to be Wednesday and Flapper Ancestor in this production of The Addams Family. She has previously worked with Mr. Julian in shows like The Wiz (The Wiz), Peter and the Starcatcher (Mack), Once On This Island (Villager), and most recently Finding Nemo (Crush). This may be her favorite production yet. She is a rising sophomore at White Knoll and loves all things music. She wants to give a shoutout to her 2 moms, her family, and her friends Rye, Lake, and Robin for always encouraging her and cheering her on.
Charlize Collins (Wednesday Addams)Charlize Collins is a 14 year old Honors Student from Irmo, SC. She attended Midlands Arts conservatory, a Performing Arts School in Columbia, SC where she participated in 2 years of their Honors Theatre Program. This summer, she has been chosen to attend Kristin Chenoweth’s Broadway Bootcamp where she will study with some of Broadways finest performers. Charli is an advanced vocalist and the youngest formally trained operatic singer within Dawn Smith Jordan’s Music Studio. Charli also enjoys tennis, archery and drawing in her spare time. This fall she will begin her freshman year in high school. After high school, Charli has her heart set on attending Julliard in NYC and her ambition in life is to not only perform on Broadway but to become the youngest EGOT winner; earning at least one Emmy, Grammy, Oscar & Tony award for her work in the arts industry.
Lily Roth (Pugsley)Lilyan Roth is so excited for the opportunity to play Pugsley and an ancestor in the ensemble in The Addams Family! As a dancer and an avid gymnast since the age of 3 lily loves the stage! This is Lily’s 3rd musical production. Her previous roles include Nemo in finding Nemo jr and Ms Hannigan in Annie jr. She is looking forward to being back on the Workshop theatre stage.
William Germann (Pugsley Addams)William Germann, a rising 6th grader at Blythewood Middle School, is a vibrant young talent who has great passion for theater. Since the age of 5, he's been glad to be a part of many performances at Town Theatre and Workshop Theater. A few of his favorites were "The Lion King, Jr,” "Frozen, Jr,” "Cinderella," "Shrek, Jr.," "Aladdin, Jr.," and "Nemo, Jr.," among others. William has been singing and dancing since the moment he drew breath. He is thankful for his family and friends that have helped him and supported him in his dedication to theater. As a proud member of both the school and church choir, he finds joy in sharing his talents with all who will listen. Now, William is excited about the opportunity to play the mischievous spirit of Pugsley in "Addams Family Young @part."
Ava Waddell (Grandma)Ava Waddell is a 13-year-old who loves the theater industry. Ava started out with dance and singing lessons, but once she took up musical theater, she knew she had found her passion. She has since been in Peter Pan, Aladdin Jr, Finding Nemo Jr, and is now enjoying the role of Grandma in Addams family.
Dani Guzman (Grandma)Dani Guzman is an upcoming Junior at richland northeast high school they have been in Cyrano de burger shack at their old high school in hawaii, they are a. military child. and they have also been in the Percy jackson musical this past march. as well as helping with tech for the one act show in the fall. This is their first lead role and is extremely exciting to work with workshop theatre and all the amazing actors! they hope you enjoy the show!
Lola Selzer (Lurch)Lola is ecstatic to have landed her dream role as Lurch in this Workshop Theatre production. She recently played Bubbles and was part of the ensemble cast in Finding Nemo Jr. Lola is a rising seventh grader and really enjoys art class. For fun, Lola enjoys traveling, singing, spending quality time with family and friends and recently completed her 10th year of dance. Lastly, Lola wishes to thank her partner-in-crime and fellow cast mate, Ava Waddell, for the countless hours spent practicing lines.
Mason Anderson (Lucas Beineke)Mason Anderson, a (upcoming) Junior in High School, is incredibly excited to be working with Workshop Theatre in “The Addams Family young@part.” He previously performed with Palmetto Center for the Arts in shows such as: “Little Shop of Horrors” as Orin Scrivello and “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical” as Percy Jackson. He is thrilled to be performing as Lucas Beineke, and he hopes you enjoy the show!
Jaden Quinn (Mal Beineke)Jaden Quinn is so excited to be doing the Addams Family! She’s also done the shows Ragtime, Matilda, Once on this Island, Fame as Ms. Sherman, and A Chorus Line with Workshop Theatre. She would like to thank her family and friends for always supporting her and being the “most bestest people ever!”
Abby Gamble (Alice Beineke)Abby Gamble is excited to be making her Workshop Theatre debut as Alice! Favorite roles include Ralphie in A Christmas Story: The Musical, Ariel in The Little Mermaid Jr., and Nala in The Lion King Jr. at Town Theatre. Outside of shows, Abby enjoys playing piano, taking dance classes, and singing. She thanks Mr. Julian, Mrs Roxanne, Mr. Taylor, and Mrs. Jeni for this opportunity. She hopes you enjoy the show!
Cecilia Risden (Alice Beineke)Cecilia Risden is 17 years old and a rising 12th grader. This is her second appearance on stage with Workshop Theatre. Previously she played Marlin and ensemble in Disney's Finding Nemo Jr. Cecilia is joined in stage by her brother Richard and sister Kadence. She would like to thank the directors, production team, and cast for all their help this summer.
Cara Collins (Ancestor)Caralyna "Cara" Collins is 6 years old and the youngest of 3 siblings. She is in her 3rd year of formal dance training. In 2023 she earned a spot in the Southern Strutt Itty Bitty Dance Company making her the youngest dancer on the team, however, she decided to concentrate on Acro for a year and soon will be dancing for the Mini Strutt team this fall. Caralyna is a rising 1st grader excelling at a Charter Immersion school where she learns half of her day in Mandarin. By the time she is in high school she will be fluent in two languages. Outside of dance and school, she enjoys modeling and singing. She started her vocal training with Mrs. Joyce Wagster at age 5. Cara's ambition in life is to be a Doctor and a Model because she says that she is "Smart and Sassy".
Foster Dilworth (Ancestor)Nine-year-old Foster Dilworth burst onto the acting scene with a passion for puppets and a knack for hilarious voices. His love for performing began early, captivating audiences with charming puppet shows at family gatherings. Foster's distinct and funny voices quickly set him apart in the world of child actors. Foster's breakout roles in "Finding Nemo" and "The Little Mermaid" showcased his exceptional talent and versatility, winning the hearts of many and solidifying his status as a rising star. When he's not on set, Foster enjoys creating new puppet characters and honing his voice-acting skills, always ready to bring laughter and joy to those around him. His infectious energy and undeniable talent promise a bright future in entertainment.
Jacqueline Eargle (Ancestor)Jacqueline Eargle is a rising 4th grader at the Hammond School. She is excited to work with Workshop Theatre again. Her last collaboration with Workshop theatre was Aladdin Jr. She has appeared in several productions at Columbia Children's theatre, Town theatre and Workshop Theatre since she was 6 years old. She loves singing, dancing and performing. Jacqueline would like to thank the production team of Workshop Theatre, her castmates, friends and family for their support.
Maddie James (Ancestor)Maddie James is 11 years old and is a rising 6th grader at Hammond School. Maddie has 3 older sisters, 3 cats, and 2 dogs. Maddie has played the role of Squirt in Finding Nemo Jr, Henrietta in Honk Jr, and Wiesel in Addam’s Family Jr. In her spare time, Maddie is a competitive gymnast, loves crafts, and really enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She thanks her mom and dad for all of their support!
Ellie Kearse (Ancestor)Ellie is 9 and just finished her third grade year at Nursery Road where she was awarded "Friend to All" from her teacher and "Masterpiece" from art. On top of being an awesome friend and an amazing artist, Ellie has always loved to sing and dance. She was overjoyed to be a part of The Addams Family production this summer. She has loved every moment. This is her first experience with musical theater but we are sure it won't be her last!
Cameron Mitchell (Ancestor)Cameron Mitchell is returning for his second time at Workshop. He has been in other two shows Honk Jr,(Town) Finding Nemo Jr (CCT). He likes corn hole, drums, and sports (all of them) as well as theater. He really loves video games! He loves working with Julian, Taylor, Jeni, Roxanne, Dean, Andie, and most of all Brandi. He would like to thank his castmates, friends, and family for their help and support.
Emma Mitchell (Ancestor)Emma Mitchell is making another big step onto the Workshop stage. She is a rising 6th grader. Emma enjoys reading, singing, and dancing. She is also an athlete who does karate. She has been in the Little Mermaid Jr at (Town), Finding Nemo Jr (Workshop and CCT) Honk Jr. (Town), and How to Eat Like a Child (CCT). Emma would like to thank her family for supporting her desire to act on stage and Mrs. Jeni, Mr Jullian, Ms. Brandi, Mrs. Roxanne, Mr. Taylor, River, and others for helping her improve her acting skills. Also, she would like to thank her cast members for being so patient, and kind, and for being a second family for her.
Kadence Risden (Ancestor)Kadence Risden is 10 years old and in the 5th grade at Pace Academy. This is her second appearance on stage with workshop theatre. Previously she played a vacationer and goggles in finding Nemo Junior. Kadence first love is ballet & competition dance. She is a member of Star Company at Palmetto Performing Arts. She has also dance with The South Carolina Ballet. Kadence’s is joined on stage with her brother Richard and sister Cecilia. Kadence would like to thank all her teachers and fellow cast mates for making this the best summer yet!
Richard “RJ” Risden (Ancestor)Richard Risden is 12 years old in the 7th grade at Pace Academy. This is his first stage appearance. He enjoys singing, playing the piano and swimming. He is excited to join his sisters Cecilia and Kadence on the Workshop stage this summer. He would like to thank the faculty, directors and cast for all their help and encouragement this summer.
Hailyn Warren (Ancestor)Hailyn Warren is a rising 3rd grader at East Point Academy who is thrilled to be making her acting debut at Workshop Theatre. When she’s not onstage, Hailyn loves gardening, singing, dancing, drawing, jumping in puddles, and making her baby brother laugh. She would like to thank her mom and dad for always letting her try new things, the cast and crew for making her first show extra special, and her family and friends that have come to watch the show.
Margaux Whitmore (Ancestor)Margaux Whitmore is a rising 3rd grade student. She first performed with Workshop Theatre as a Young Ballerina in A Chorus Line. She loves acting, singing, and dancing.
