Chad Henderson
CHAD HENDERSON (Director) is a professional theatre artist in South Carolina who is known for directing contemporary plays, musicals and original works that mix music, movement, imagination and invention to create unforgettable works for the stage. Chad served as the Artistic Director of Trustus Theatre (2015-2021) in Columbia, SC, and is the current Marketing Director for the South Carolina Philharmonic. Previous Charleston credits include Living Dead in Denmark (College of Charleston), The Brothers Size (Piccolo Spoleto), and PURE Theatre’s lauded production of Fun Home in 2018 which was revived for Piccolo Spoleto that same year. Selected Trustus Theatre credits include: The Brother/Sister Plays, Green Day’s American Idiot, Evil Dead, Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, The Last 5 Years, Assassins, The Great Gatsby, Next to Normal, and The Restoration’s Constance - an original musical for which Henderson also wrote the book. Chad has directed with various theatres in South Carolina including Workshop Theatre of South Carolina, The Columbia Children’s Theatre, Spartanburg Next Stage, and Theatre South Carolina (USC). Henderson has completed three residencies at The Studios of Key West, where he developed new works and directed in TSKW’s One Night Stand, a 24-hour new play project. His short film Overture won the 2017 Second Act Film Festival Audience Choice Award. In the 22/23 theatre season, Henderson directed a staged reading of Moon Swallower (Jasper Project), Don’t Let Pigeon Drive the Bus (Columbia Children’s Theatre), and Clyde’s (PURE Theatre). Henderson is delighted to return to Workshop for Hundred Days - his first production with the theatre since Young Frankenstein in 2014 - and getting to work with so many talented friends from over the years. Music Director
Tom Beard
Tom Beard (Music Director/Accordion/Synthesizer/Vocals) has enjoyed simultaneous careers in computers, music, and teaching as an Instructor at the University of South Carolina (where he received masters degrees in philosophy and music). He began his professional music career as a high-school senior playing ragtime piano at Carowinds. Many opportunities followed, including: studio-pianist for the Columbia City Ballet and 30+ years as music director and pianist for productions at Workshop Theater (faves include Sweeney Todd, Into the Woods, Young Frankenstein, The Full Monty, Ain’t Misbehavin’), Trustus Theater (Spring Awakening, Assassins, The Last 5 Years, Passing Strange, tick..tick..BOOM!, Bat Boy: The Musical, The Rocky Horror Show, Hedwig & the Angry Inch), Theatre Raleigh, and the USC Opera Company. Additionally he has created and performed special programs for the Columbia Museum of Art, as well as composed original music for a number of non-musical plays.

Jeni McCaughan
Jeni McCaughan (Producer) has been actively volunteering at Workshop for the last fourteen years. By day, she has the pleasure of being the Executive Director of Workshop Theatre. Some of Jeni’s favorite shows that she has produced and been the props mistress for are Caroline, or Change, Disney Camp Rock, The Color Purple, The Wedding Singer, and Kinky Boots. Jeni would like to thank Chad, Tom, this amazingly talented cast, crew, and production team for truly being rock stars, and for sharing their time and incredible talents with us. As always, a big thank you and lots of love to her very patient and talented husband, Dean. Jeni would like to thank her village, specifically Taylor, Kendal, Chris, Hans, Lou, Blythe, Andie, Tiffany, and Trinity for their constant support and love. Thank you all for helping make the most of the time we have. BIG love to you all!
Stage Manager
Colleen Kelly
Colleen Kelly (Stage Manager) is excited to take part in her first production at Workshop Theatre. Previous stage management credits include: The Light (USC Lab Theater), First Date the Musical (Trustus Theatre), Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill (Trustus Theatre), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Trustus Theatre), Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley (Trustus Theatre), The Great Gastby (Trustus), Silence! The Musical (Trustus Theatre), A Bright Room Called Day (Trustus Theatre), Building the Wall (Trustus Theatre), and The Velvet Weapon (Trustus Theatre). Other credits include Heathers: The Musical (ASM, Trustus Theatre) and The 39 Steps (ASM, Theatre South Carolina). When not doing theatre, Colleen works full time at the University of South Carolina in the department of Student Life. She would like to thank all those involved in the show for their hard work. She would also like to thank all those that supported her, in and out of the theatre, during the rehearsal process and through performances.

Costume Designer
Andie Nicks
Andie Nicks (Costume Designer) is a Columbia native. She has a BA in fine arts from the University of South Carolina-Aiken (USCA) and her MFA in costume design from Southern Illinois University (SIU). She is a licensed Cosmetologist after studying at Paul Mitchell the school Columbia. She co-owns an Etsy store, Theodocia Originals, with her mother selling handmade jewelry and home décor. Most recently she designed costumes for Workshop’s 2022 Torch Song, Death of a Salesman, Kinky Boots, The Wedding Singer, God of Carnage, and The Color Purple and Trustus’ 2021 Intimate Apparel and 2022 Dance Nation, First Date, and True Crime Rep. Previous design experience includes Children of Eden (SIU), Pinkalicious (McLeod Summer Playhouse), and Murder for Two (Cape Fear Regional Theatre). She is beyond grateful for the continued opportunity to be a part of telling important stories about acceptance, love and celebrating individuality in a safe and loving environment. andienicks.com

Technical Director
Patrick Faulds
Patrick Faulds (Set Design, Lighting Design) has been a part of Columbia College’s Cottingham Theatre staff since 1987, and is currently the artistic technical director. Both an actor and designer, the New York native graduated from Morrisville College in New York with a degree in broadcast journalism. First appearing as a stunt performer in water ski shows nearly 50 years ago, he continued as an actor, magician, comedian, musician, and professional storyteller with hundreds of stage and television credits. Currently a professional Santa Claus, Patrick has appeared for network and local television, as well as radio, stage, and commercial print work. As a designer for lighting, scenery, and special effects, he has hundreds of shows to his credits, including 25+ with Workshop Theatre. He has provided scenic and lighting designs for Academy Award winning director Delbert Mann and Tony and Grammy award winner Jennifer Holliday. He has been with the theatre faculty for the Tri District Arts Consortium since 1989 and has worked with two Verner Award winning programs for arts in education.
