THE GREAT CELLPHONE CATASTROPHE or How I Learned to Stop Texting and Love to Talk Cast
Arianna Estrada (Stella)Arianna is a senior this year and she is so excited to have her final fall play to be playing Stella in The Great Cellphone Catastrophe! She gets to play alongside her friends and do this production together. She has been apart of these production since sophomore and it has taught how to be able to have confidence on stage and what it means to play a role. She would like to dedicate this performance to her mother because her mom is the funniest person she knows and can always make her laugh.
Kendall Smith (Stevie)Kendall is a senior and will be doing his second performance of high school theatre. He has also played as Cogsworth and a salt shaker in Beauty and the Beast. He is also president of the 5000 Role Models of Excellence.
Cooper Jones (Lenny)Cooper is a senior and anxious to perform in the upcoming fall play. His appearance includes: “10 ways to survive a zombie apocalypse” as – and in “beauty and the beast” as Maurice. When he is not performing, he likes to play his little video games and listen to music.
Brooke Peterson (Lucy)Brooke Peterson is a Sophomore here at Wolfson and has preformed in 10 ways to survive a zombie apocalypse and in Beauty and the Beast. She is excited to be acting in The Great Cellphone Catastrophe as Lucy and cant wait to act in more plays. After school Brooke wants to work in the FBI. She enjoys hanging out with her friends and family.
Evangeline De La Rosa (Gussie)I am a Sophomore at Samuel Wolfson high school. This is my second show here at Wolfson and I was cast as Lefou in Beauty and the beast last year. Some interests I have are JROTC, reading, listening to music, and watching tv.
Nyatooch Gou (Nina)Nyatooch is a senior playing the role of Nina in The Great Cell Phone Catastrophe.She has also been in Seussical : The Musical (Who), 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse (Susan), and Beauty and the Beast (LeFou) and has been really thankful for having these experiences. Apart from acting she enjoys many other activities such as participating in Book Club, Art Club, and volunteers every Saturday at her nearby library. After high school she plans to go into nursing. She wants to thank her parents for always supporting her and being there for her.
Amelia Reinhardt (Ramona)Amelia Reinhardt is a talented performer and dedicated student. She has showcased her acting skills in various fall plays, while also taking on memorable roles such as Jojo in "Seussical" and Chip in "Beauty and the Beast." Outside of the theater, Amelia is actively involved in JROTC and enjoys dedicating her time to Wolfson High School.
Adriel Perez (Frankie)Adriel is thrilled to be part of the riveting story of “The Great Cellphone Catastrophe” as Frankie! With a passion for performing and storytelling, Adriel has been involved in a number of productions, honing his skills in acting, singing, and dancing. He is grateful for the opportunity to bring this play to life on stage and to share the magic of theatre. He would like to thank the cast, crew, and creative team for their dedication and support!
Skye Mason-Raper (Connie Kawalski; Fosse Dancer; Choreography)Skye is a senior this year and she is extremely excited to have her first ever role in a play! She will be performing as a chicken and a fosse dancer in tonight’s show! She would love to thank her parents for always being supportive, the whole drama department for making her feel a part of the family, and God most of all for blessing her with this life!!
Summer Aurelien (Sylvia)Summer Aurelien is an 18-year-old Senior who is thrilled to be in this year's play. She is playing a beat poet who is just very chill, and passionate about her work. She has been in other productions like Seussical the Musical, 10 Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse, and Beauty and the Beast. She plans to join the Air Force and go to college and major in Theatre. She would like to thank her family who is always motivating her to do better.
Gigi Quinones (Emily) Sophomore Giannina Quinones, plays the beat poet Emily. She has been in a number of plays/ musicals which include…( Juliet) In Romeo & Juliet, (King louie ) In Jungle Book, ( Which ) Macbeth, ( Good Samaritan) Godspell, ( Hispanic mom) When bad things happen to good actors, and ( Mrs Potts) In Beauty & then Beast. She is enliven to be in this fall play “ The cellphone Catastrophe.” She plans to stay in Florida for college and hopefully pursue her sport in Swimming.
Bristol Orrell (Ruth)Bristol is a sophomore and is very enthusiastic about this year's fall play acting as Ruth (a poet). This is her second theatre performance at Wolfson, with her first being Beauty and the beast. In last year’s production she was a fork, wolf, and man. Some of her favorite activities are acting, volunteering at her studio, and doing Color guard with her friends. Her background is mostly full of dance, but is currently working to get a stronger profile in acting as she continues in her high school journey. Bristol hopes that everyone watching the play has a fabulous time. She would also like to give thanks to her family, friends, and especially Ms. Holley for making her more confident in her theatre skills and abilities.
William Kayser (Goodman Cheever)William is a Senior now at Wolfson high school, he is excited to be back for another year in theatre but is very very sad that this is his last year that he gets to be in theatre class with his friends and Ms. Holley. His interests include driving, working, and lifting weights. He has previous experience with last year's fall production 10 ways to survive the zombie apocalypse, and last year's spring musical Beauty and the Beast. While he played smaller roles in those two productions, he would love to take on a bigger role this year but is willing to play whatever role he is needed to play to put on the best show possible. He would like to dedicate this production to his girlfriend Matilda, who he loves very much.
Jordan Romagnolo (Goody Proctor)Jordan is a freshman who is excited to be a part of her first show at Wolfson. She has been in many productions ranging from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (ensemble) to Seussical: The Musical (Gertrude McFuzz). Jordan is also a member of the dance team and enjoys all aspects of performing. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her journey.
Aaron Zacharia (Chief)Aaron is elated to be playing the role of a police chief in this year’s fall play Great Cellphone Catastrophe. He is currently a sophomore at Wolfson High School and is delighted to return. Previously, Aaron played the roles of Jimmy and a fishmonger in Ten Ways to Survive a Zombie Apocalypse and Beauty and the Beast respectively. After high school, he plans to pursue a minor in theatre as an undergraduate.
Jason Groger (Roscoe)
Jason Groger is an upcoming actor and his breakout role is as Rosco. His role as Rosco is a small but impactful one. He plans on putting everything he has into all 12 of his lines. He hasn’t been in any plays or productions yet but he is not a stranger to being on stage as he played multiple percussion instruments in the spring and winter concerts last year. He has also performed in multiple bands in the last year.
Caitlyn Dockham (Gwen; Choreography)Caitlyn is a junior and has enjoyed being a part of the theatre program here at Wolfson High School. She was in Seussical the Musical (Bird Girl 1), 10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse (Nana/Zombie Nana), Beauty and the Beast (La Fille 2, wolf, fork), and The Music Man (featured dancer). Caitlyn has also been singing for 8 years and dancing for 14. She is currently the vice president/co-captain of the Wolfson Dance Ensemble and historian of the drama club. She hopes to earn a degree in marine biology and get her DVM so she can pursue a career as a marine veterinarian. She would like to thank her family and friends who have been the most supportive towards her performing arts career.
Jillian Turk (Chita)Jillian is a freshman and she plays Chita, she has formally played Race in newsies, a flying monkey, and the Chesire cat in her former theatre department. She is very excited for her first play at Wolfson! Her other extracurriculars include cheer and chorus here at Wolfson. And she would like to dedicate this performance to her family.
