About Find a Way

From modern hits to classic favorites, and everything in between, welcome to our Winter Choir Concert! It is a joy to be able to present this show for you. We hope you will spend an evening of music and memories with us as we celebrate the end of another semester, and the power of music in our lives.

The WC Choir Program would like to thank the Dysart Unified School District Executive Cabinet and Governing Board, our Superintendent Dr. John Croteau and our district arts lead Danae Marinelli. We would also like to thank our school administrators led by Mr. Thom Luedemann, along with our arts department here at WCHS. An extra special thank you goes out to Mr. Steve Wallgren for being our accompanist tonight. We also want to welcome Ms. Serena Fornay, our student teacher from ASU, who graduated this week with a degree in music education!

Finally we would like to thank you! Having music in our daily lives is a gift, and you all make that gift possible by supporting shows like the one you are about to see. Thank you, and enjoy the show!

Willow Canyon High School Choir

Our program is home to Evolution Show Choir, Willow Wisps Show Choir, the WC Concert Choir, and our Mixed Choir! Our students work hard every single day to bring the very best musical performances to our community. We can be seen at events around the City of Surprise throughout the year, as well as in our shows here at Willow!

We have continued our tradition of opening every home varsity football game with the national anthem. Students in our choirs have been busy representing our school at events like All-State Show Choir auditions, the district Festival of Choirs, and recruitment trips to our local elementary schools. You will also find us at most campus events, like the homecoming parade, future freshman night, and many others. During our fall fundraiser, the choir raised enough money to buy all of the needed costumes and equipment for our spring semester. Finally, in partnering with our Key Club, the choir program raised more than $600 for charity during the Penny Wars Thank you for your support of these students, and of music in our city. It is thanks to you that we make a difference here in our community!
