It's the classic Disney movie translated to the stage — all the catchy songs and fun characters you know and love, for all ages to enjoy as its lovingly performed by Whitnall Middle School's theatre program.

Troy is a jock and star basketball player; Gabriella is a brainiac and the new kid in school. The two shouldn't mix cliques, and yet all either of them wants is to audition for the school's musical “Juliet & Romeo.” When both have the opportunity to break the Status Quo, the entire school rebels against the Status Quo and is up in arms, with the thespians (led by malicious siblings Sharpay and Ryan) conspiring to sabotage their audition, while the jocks and brainiacs team up to keep Troy and Gabriella apart.

Featuring singing, dancing, and those classic Disney Channel vibes, the entire family will be dancing in their seats as this story celebrates its 20th year.

Whitnall High School and Middle School has been performing in Hales Corners for six decades. Currently, the high school program produces one musical and one straight play each season, and the middle school program produces one musical.
