Once Upon a Mattress Cast

Mayleen is a senior this year. She has previously played Adam in Freaky Friday, Cat in the Hat in Suessical, and was featured in Inspired by Broadway. She also participated in Clue and Bye Bye Birdie.

Katelyn is a sophomore this year. Previously at WR she has played Ellie in Freaky Friday, A Bird Girl in Suessical, and has also been in Thetis in Xanadu (Caryl Crane Youth Theatre), Mrs. Tottendale in The Drowsy Chaperone (Norwalk Arts Center), Logainne in The 25th Annual…Spelling Bee (Norwalk Arts Center). She also participates in Jazz Band, Concert Band, Choir, Show Choir, Academic Challenge, Student Council, National Honors Society, Class President, Norwalk Arts Center ART Club, Caryl Crane Youth Theatre Competition Team, The Chapel High School Worship Team, The Chapel KC Ministry. She would like to thank her Mom, Dad, and Grandpa for supporting me and transporting her and her sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins for coming to watch me show after show.

Javar is a senior. While he is new to WR this year, he has been Seaweed in Hairspray, and Caleb in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

Braiden is a freshman. He has been Pastor Bruno/Dr. Ehrin in Freaky Friday, Mr. Mayor in Seussical, and Randolph in Bye Bye Birdie. He was also in Inspired by Broadway. He also participates in Marching Band, Concert Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Choir, After Hours, Show Choir, Cross Country, and The Vermilion Community Band. He would like to thank his parents and grandparents for their support.

Reagan is a senior. She previously she has played Katherine in Freaky Friday, Maize in Seussical. She was also in Clue the musical.

Lincon is a junior. He is a new addition to the stage this year. We are so glad he is joining us! After high school he plans on getting an associate of arts in music at LCCC. Lincon also actively participates in After Hours, Marching Band, Pep Band, Jazz Band, Concert Band, and National Honors Society.

Clara is a senior this year. She has also played Tori in Freaky Friday, She was a bird girl in Seussical, featured in Inspired by Broadway, chorus in Clue, and crew for Bye Bye Birdie. After High School Clara plans on studying music. Clara is extremely active in marching band, concert band, concert choir, show choir, after hours, pep band, and National Honors Society. She would like to thank her mom for always being there and listening when she needed her.

Emily is a freshman this year. She has previously played Ms. Meyers/Danielle in Freaky Friday, Mrs. Mayor in Seussical, and Inspired By Broadway. She is also actively involved Pep band, concert band, marching band, choir, after hours, show choir. She would like to thank her mom and dad for always supporting her.

Josette is a 7th grader this year. She has previously played Hannah in Freaky Friday, Ms. Honey-Matilda Jr, Cricket-Pinocchio. She is also involved in Band, choir, show choir, volleyball, softball. Josette would like to thank her parents, Mrs. Hicks, and all of her friends who encouraged her to do this show.

Lyndsey is a junior this year. She has played Gretchen in Freaky Friday, The Grinch in Seussical. After High School she plans on attending the EHOVE adult education program. She is actively involved in Concert Band, Marching Band, and Choir. She would like to thank her Mom, Stepdad, and Sisters for their support.

Brianna is a Freshman. They are also new to the shows at WR. This year they have participated in Choir and After Hours and is also a fantastic visual artist. They would like to thank I would like to thank Gracie for helping me understand things that I didn’t understand.

Aries is a senior. Previously Aries has played A multitude of characters during my time in Curtain Call which is no longer in Norwalk, along with the General in Seussical, a newsie in Western Reserves Broadway review, and last year I was a crew manager. After high school he plans on working and maybe go to a college that would improve my art after a year of working. Aries participates in Band, Winter Guard, and Japanese Tutoring outside of school. He would like to thank family for driving me, and supporting me in all other plays he's been in.

Gracie is a sophomore. She has previously been in Seussical as a Who and Freaky Friday as Mrs. Luckenbill.

Bishop is a 6th grader. This is his first production at WR. However he has previously been in a live Nativity at St. Mary's Catholic Church. He is also active in Baseball, Football, Basketball, 4-H, Student Council, and Choir. He would like to thank to my Lord Jesus Christ and to my family for all their support.

Alex is an 8th grader. They participate in marching band and show choir. They would like to thank the rest of the cast for being so supportive.

Aliyah is a 7th grader. This is their first show. They also participate in Choir, Show Choir, and Archery Club. They would like to thank their mom for driving them back and forth to rehearsal.

Colton is a 6th grader and this is his first production. He is actively involved in Band, Choir, Church, Basketball, and Baseball. He would like to thank Alex for helping him improve during this show.

Jaxon is an 8th grader. This is his first time playing in a pit orchestra. He is active in many activities including, cross country, baseball, track, marching band, pep band, jazz band, concert band.

Guy is a 7th grader this year. He has previously played Fletcher in Freaky Friday. He also participates in show choir, and jazz band. He would like to thank his parents and my friend, specifically Josette Spragg, for being such a wonderful friend and pushing me to be a better person and actor.

Skylin is a freshman this year. She has previously been part of the crew for Inspired By Broadway, Seussical, and Freaky Friday. She participates in Marching and Concert Band. She would like to thank everyone in the program for creating a fun and happy environment.

Madalyn is an 8th grader. She has previously been in Aladdin. She also participates in volleyball, winter guard, choir, band, show choir. She would like to thank her sister, Leah :-)

Luke is a freshman. He also participates in Concert Band, Marching Band, and Pep Band. Luke has been helping backstage for several WR productions.

Braxtyn is a 7th grade student. He also helped run sound for Freaky Friday here at WR. He also participates in baseball, concert band, pep band and jazz band.

Amelia is a 6th grader. This is her first production at WR, but she has a bright future ahead of her on the stage. She also participates in choir, show choir, and basketball. She would like to thank Emily Torres, because she helped me get used to everything that I was new to, she also helped me with my confidence on stage.

Shiloh is a freshman. She has been a part of Inspired by Broadway, Seussical and Freaky Friday here at WR. She also participates in archery, concert band, and marching band. She would like to thank dad and mom for always supporting me and what I do, her nana for always willing to do anything to make sure I achieve my dreams, and Taylor who introduced me to the world of music. "I love you guys."

Imani is a freshman this year. She has been a crew member for Inspired By Broadway, Seussical and Freaky Friday. She is also a member of the Lady Riders Basketball team, in Track and Band.
