Hannah Smith (Sophie)
Hannah Smith is a young actress from Westbrook High School. As a senior, she is moving on to study theater at the University of Southern Maine. Hannah enjoys poetry and hopes to inspire people with her love of language.
Shelby Waite (Jackie)
This is Shelby’s senior year of high school. This is her fifth production performing on-stage in Westbrook’s Sok And Buskin Drama Club. Her favorite past production is Almost, Maine, where she played Shelly in the They Fell scene. After graduation, she plans to attend Johnson And Wales University to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in culinary arts.
Ellie Backman (Vivian)
Ellie Backman has been involved in multiple productions for Westbrook, such Almost Maine (Sandrine) and Elephant’s Graveyard (Ballet Girl #2). She also took part in WMS’s Shrek The Musical Jr. (Donkey) in 2018. Some other hobbies include dancing at Drouin Dance Center and participating in numerous band activities.
Emelia Bailey (Laura)
Emelia Bailey is a sophomore who has enjoyed being in numerous musicals and plays over the years. Most recently, she was invited to attend the 2020 International Thespian Festival where she competed in the solo musical singer category earning a superior medal. She plans to pursue acting and vocal performance in college and thanks Mr. Solomon for making this play possible this year.
Sarah Winn (Marcie)
Sarah Winn is a sophomore at Westbrook High School and joined the theater club in her freshman year. She has worked backstage on two other productions (Almost Maine and Elephants Graveyard). While Sarah did have a brief voice acting role in Almost Maine, this production will be her first official acting role! She enjoys the lasting connections that are made while putting together a production. Sarah also loves how a show can completely capture the audience's attention and pull them into another world.
Abby Bachelder (Kara)
This will be Abigail's third production. Other roles include Fiona in Shrek Jr the Musical. As well as Marvalyn in Almost Maine by John Cariani. Abigail plays the guitar and enjoys meeting new people. Thank you to Mr. Solomon and my grandmother for the continued support.
