Teaneck New Theater

In 1986, Brian Billick, Kevin G. Shinnick and Alan Lauderdale founded Teaneck New Theatre (TNT.) True to its ambitious aim, TNT undertook challenging early projects all of which were performed at Bogart Memorial Church in Bogota. In 2005, the troupe began staging most of its productions at The Hackensack Cultural Arts Center (HCAC.)  TNT also worked at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church where some shows were performed.

In 2018, TNT staged its first  production, the THREE VIEWINGS at the state-of-the-art Hackensack Performing Arts Center (HACPAC.) In 2019, we will work for the first time in co-sponsorship with the borough of Fair Lawn at the theatre in the Frey Community Center for our spring presentation, and then back at HACPAC for our 2 summer shows.

TNT has always prided itself on its high-quality productions. Our mission is to give actors, directors and production staff an opportunity to hone their craft by working on outstanding plays.  Consequently, TNT continues to tackle a diverse range of works.  This includes presentations of many underdone plays as well as originals by local and not-so-local playwrights.
