The Odd Couple (Female Version) Cast
Lori Bauer (Olive Madison)Lori is delighted to be playing the role of Olive, a character opposite of her own neat and orderly ways. She has performed in many plays and musicals with the Waupaca Community Theatre and a few in the Fox Valley area. This winter, weather permitting, Lori hopes to get in some cross-country skiing and ice fishing. She thanks her husband Larry for his steadfast support.
Rachel Schick (Florence Unger)This is Rachel's first performance with WCT. After performing in High School and church productions, her focus shifted to worship arts where she spent more than two decades singing, playing guitar, and leading in church worship teams. Over the last decade, during the summer, she has led songs and participated in dramas at Royal Family Kids Camp. She is truly excited to act with WTC, just for the fun of it, playing the part of Florence.
Carol Kraco (Sylvie)Carol returned to the stage after a 25-year hiatus by diving into WCT’s 2025 production of “The Kids Left. The Dog Died. Now What?” Before she succumbed to the glamorous life of a stay-at-home mom, she could be found on stage in her hometown of Stuart, FL. Some of her favorite parts were Hunyak in "Chicago" and Sister Mary Leo in "Nunsense." Carol now resides in Scandinavia with her favorite person, Gordon, along with a meatloaf-shaped tabby cat and a miniature panther. They can usually be found in their curiosity shop or their bar/music venue chatting up patrons and supporting local live music.
Kay Ellingson (Renee)Kay has been performing on stage with the Waupaca Community Theatre since 2018. She is excited to be performing once again with a talented cast and crew. Her favorite performances with WCT include Caroline (Luna Gale), Melissa Gardner (Love Letters), Emily Ann Bemis (Critics' Choice), and Grandma Georgina (Willy Wonka). Kay has also performed with the Wolf River Theatrical Troupe in several plays, including Clairee Belcher (Steel Magnolias). She is a member of the Waupaca Community Chorus and St. Mary Magdalene choir. Kay would like to thank her husband, Erik, for his continued support.
Sherry Weise (Vera)Sherry moved to Waupaca about 29 years ago and was delighted to find a community so passionate about theatre and the arts. Her previous WCT performances include the chorus for "Annie Warbucks" and "The Kids Left. The Dog Died. Now What?" Sherry is thrilled to be part of this production and thanks her family and the directors for their support. She loves being part of the theatre family.
Elaine Muller (Mickey)Elaine is thrilled to be making her Waupaca Community Theatre debut in this comedy. Her love of theatre began during her school years and has continued into her adult life through local community productions including "Nobody Will Hear You Scream", "Drinking Habits", and "Dad’s Christmas Miracle." Her favorite roles to date were in "Four Old Broads" and "Four Old Broads: On the High Seas." She is grateful to the directors for their guidance, the cast and crew for their dedication, and the audience for joining us and sharing a few laughs. She thanks her family and friends for their constant support and for continuing to pretend this is "just a hobby."
Tyler Higginson (Jesus Costazuela)This is Tyler’s sixth WCT production, having previously been onstage in "The Little Mermaid," "The Drowsy Chaperone," "Little Shop of Horrors," "Hello Dolly," and the 2024 play, "Critics' Choice." Most recently he was a part of the Waupaca Fine Arts Festival's "Twelve Days of Christmas Cabaret." He is also a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church’s Senior choir in Waupaca.
Matthew Bonikowske (Manolo Costazuela)Matthew has been involved with WCT for many years. His first show was "Mame" that started it all... and it has kept him coming back for more over the years! He's really taken to his character Manolo in this show, and he's hoping the audience enjoys it as much as he has! Much love to his husband Roy who supports him in all his endeavors.
