HARVEY Cast

Amy La Rosa (Elwood P. Dowd)
(Junior) Amy is excited to be in the winter play Harvey. Amy was in three plays last year including “Urashima Taro” (Turtle), “Law & Order: Fairy Tale Unit” (Merm), and “Annie: The Musical” (Appleseller, Boylan Sister, Perkins). She is grateful for being in all these plays and building relationships with many wonderful people. She would like to thank the crew for working so hard putting all of this together. She would also like to thank her family for supporting her since the first play and being there for all the shows.
Dalhel Espinosa (Veta Louise Simmons)
This is her first play of the year and it has definitely been a joy! She loves “Harvey” not just the rabbit. With this role, she’s had the opportunity to explore with this role more of her meaner side. (Just onstage, though!) This production has definitely been a whimsical ride of heartaches, but not enough heartbreaks.
Laura Diaz (Myrtle Mae Simmons)
(Freshman) Laura is excited to be part of this winter play. She was recently in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory”, so this is her second play. She thought that this would be a great opportunity. She loves the cast and likes meeting new people in the process of being in this play. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her and helping her to not give up.
Izzy Burleson (Judge Gaffney)
(Freshman) Izzy is happy it be a part of this year's winter production, "Harvey". This year, she was in "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". She loves how sweet and funny this cast is. Everyone got along really well and she’s loved working with this group. She would love to thank her cousin, Penel, for helping her practice her lines!
Jennifer Garcia (Dr. Chumley)
(Freshman) Jennifer is ecstatic to be a part of this year's winter play "Harvey". Recently, she was in her first play, "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", playing as Mike Teevee. The cast of Harvey is one of a kind. Not only are they talented but they’re some incredibly kind and understanding people. They made the late nights rehearsing so much fun. Jennifer hopes to work with them again. She would also like to thank her mom for her love and support.
Alexa Covarrubias (Dr. Sanderson)
(Junior) Alexa is very excited to be a part of this year’s WHS production of Harvey. She was most recently in “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” (Charlie), “Annie” (Tessie), and “Law & Order: Fairy Tale Unit” (Pig #2). She would like to thank the cast and crew for working so hard and making it a safe place to perform. She would also like to thank her family for supporting her and letting her take part in this and all previous productions she’s been in.
Leilani Hill (Nurse Kelly)
(Senior) Leilani is very excited to do the winter production Harvey this year! This being her first show, she has acted in, she was raring to try something new and step outside of her comfort zone! (Not really!) She absolutely loves the cast and how supportive the small community is. She’s sad to be leaving this year, but she would hope plenty of amazing productions will still be produced with these very talented actors!
Lesley Trejo (Wilson / Mrs. Chauvenet)
(Junior) Lesley (aka "Tree") is glad to be a part of this year’s winter play, "Harvey". Lesley was in two plays last year, "The Legend of Urashima Taro" (Taro) and "The Fairytale Unit" (Hansel, Dopey, Blind Mouse). This year, she was the stage manager for "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" and played Mr. Salt. She is grateful to be surrounded by amazing actors and a great stage manager. She would like to thank her parents for their support and her little sister for taking care of things while she’s gone.
Elanys Lopez (Betty Chumley)
(Junior) Elanys is delighted to be a part of this year's winter play, “Harvey”. Elanys was just recently in her first play, “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” ( Violet Beauregarde). She finds these productions just wonderful and the community lovely. Elanys is very grateful to experience these productions with such a fun and energetic group of people. She would like to thank the cast, crew, and production staff for pulling through, especially for the very long and stressful work calls and rehearsals. As well as her family for their support and love.
Dii Rodriguez (E.J. Lofgren / Ms. Johnson)
(Sophomore) This is Dii’s first show with a speaking role. They are excited to be a part of the production, “Harvey”!
