Ana Harper (Violet Sharp)
Ana Harper is thrilled to be back on the Main Stage! After performing in numerous shows at the WLAC, including The Lion King Jr., A Monster Calls, Proof, and My First Date, Ana is excited to bring the part of Violet to life and dabble in a heart-wrenching story such as this! She'd like to thank her cast for guidance, as well as her family and friends for always supporting her endeavors.
Sophie Putman (Edna Sharp)
Sophie Putman is a senior at Corsicana High School. She has done theatre for 6 years and is the president of the theatre company at the high school. She loves to bring stories to life. This is Sophie's first show at WLAC. She can't wait for you to see the show!
Lillianne Burnett (Edna Sharp)
Lilliane is a college student who competed in one-act play during high school and performed in A Monster Calls with the WLAC last summer. Stepping up to take on this role with only a few days to prepare, Lillianne is grateful for the opportunity to be part of this production.
Dylan Speak (Charles Lindbergh)
Dylan Speak has been performing since high school and has appeared in numerous WLAC productions, including A Monster Calls (Dad), The Elephant Man (John Merrick), Proof (Hal), and My First Date (Caleb). He is excited to be part of Violet Sharp and to return to the WLAC stage.
Lexi White (Anne Lindbergh)
Lexi White is making her stage debut as Anne Lindbergh in Violet Sharp while also serving as stage manager. After many years of helping backstage, she is grateful for the opportunity to step into a role herself. Outside of theatre, Lexi serves as the social media representative for the WLAC (hi, it’s me!), the Palace Theatre, Sam Houston Elementary, the Navarro Council of the Arts, and Dynamic Empowerment For Youth, while also working full-time as a school librarian, technology teacher, and campus tech support specialist at Sam Houston Elementary. She would like to thank the cast and crew, her friends and family, and God for their support and encouragement as she tries something new. 2 Timothy 1:7.
Emilie Parten (Betty Gow)
Emilie has been passionate about theatre since the fourth grade. She has performed multiple roles both on stage and behind the scenes. At the WLAC, Emilie has appeared as a Pinhead in Elephant Man, as Claire in Proof and, most recently, as June Alden in My First Date. She is always eager to learn new things and expand her experiences. Emilie is a mother to two young children and has been married happily for 11 years.
Matthew Ritch (John McGrath)
Matthew Ritch is excited to be a part of Violet Sharp and rejoin the talented actors and actresses on stage at the WLAC. He has previously taken parts in the Warehouse productions of My First Date, White Christmas, Elephant Man, and Pride and Prejudice. Matthew also helps design and create sets for WLAC and is very excited to see what this season holds in store! Matthew is forever thankful to God, his family, and friends who all give him the encouragement and support that has brought him here.
Jesse Rodriguez (Harry Walsh)
Jesse Rodriguez is honored to be part of his second production at the Warehouse Living Arts Center. After a one year hiatus, he’s excited to return to the stage. He has previously appeared in productions at Navarro College, as well as The Elephant Man at the Warehouse. Jesse is thrilled to be working with another talented cast and looks forward to bringing this story to life.
Kim Carty (Laura Hughes)
Kim has been involved in theater a long time. She has appeared in several WLAC productions, including My First Date, as Eve Erhard; Into the Woods, as Granny; The Wizard of Oz, as Miss Gulch / The Wicked Witch; and Steel Magnolias as Truvy. She attended and graduated from KD Studio and has even taken a course with John Davies. Kim is also a local Realtor with Ebby Halliday - The Carter Hillock Group. She is grateful to her family, friends and everyone who has supported her, and is excited for the opportunity to help share this story. She loves her theatre family!
Nick Rustin (Septimus Banks)
Nick Rustin, a middle school principal and Corsicana resident, has previously appeared on the WLAC stage as Captain Arthur Keller in The Miracle Worker, George Milton in Of Mice and Men, and most recently as the beloved Mr. Bennet in Pride and Prejudice. He is a proud husband to Stephanie and father to Rhiannon, a fellow actress with WLAC. He is thrilled to take on the role of the sinister Mr. Septimus Banks and grateful to share the stage once again with this talented company.
Erika Eeds (Adela)
Dr. Erika Eeds made her foray into acting when she played Sally in the WLAC’s production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL last December. More recently, Erika played Mrs. Kendal in THE ELEPHANT MAN, Grandma in A MONSTER CALLS, and Betty Haynes in WHITE CHRISTMAS, all with the WLAC. She has also recently appeared in WINTER at Theatre Rocks! directed by Bill Rhoten. No stranger to performing, she grew up dancing, playing piano, and singing in the church youth choir. Erika came to Corsicana seven years ago when she took over Corsicana Chiropractic from Dr. Frank Means, himself a veteran of many WLAC productions. Not only is she licensed to adjust humans, but she is also certified in animal chiropractic as well. Erika and her husband, Daniel Owen, became a couple while rehearsing for the DANCING FOR OUR STARS fundraiser at Navarro College in 2020. They celebrated four years of marriage in April. Erika is a Master SCUBA diver and an avid underwater photographer. She loves gardening, reading, her three dogs and four cats, and teaching her grandchildren everything she can.
Kim Blake (Nurse)
Kim Blake is thrilled to be a part of this production of Violet Sharp. She has previously appeared in productions such as Elf, Matilda, and White Christmas with the WLAC. Kim found her passion as a performer after retiring in 2022 and has embraced every opportunity to be on stage since. She loves acting, singing, and dancing, and looks forward to participating in future productions. Kim is grateful to the directors, crew, and volunteers at the WLAC for providing this opportunity, and especially the Board of Directors and patrons for making the arts an important part of Corsicana. Noah Ramsey (Ernie Miller)
Noah is excited to again be performing onstage at the WLAC, having most recently appeared in This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing; White Christmas; and Zink: The Myth, The Legend, The Zebra. He would like to thank the cast and crew for making this show possible.
Ricky Brown (Norman Schwarzkopf)
Ricky discovered theatre in December, 2024 at the ripe old age of 65. He now has season tickets to 4 theatres within 45 minutes of his home in Seven Points. He has helped backstage, the concession stand & being on book during rehearsals. He has performed in and worked backstage in several Christmas & Easter plays at Resurrection Church in Corsicana as well as a couple of school plays way back in the Ice Ages. He was in The Snow Queen in December, his first time to perform, and 9 to 5 The Musical in February at Ennis Public Theatre. This is his first play to perform in at WLAC. He wants to thank John for giving him a chance. And to all the awesomely talented 'youngsters' in the cast for making an old man feel a part of the team!! He hopes to perform like them when he grows up. Ricky exclaims, "I think I have found my retirement pastime. Whether it's performing, helping backstage or concession stands or just watching amazing talent perform great shows!!
