The Sound of Music Cast

Isabel is honored to be playing Maria in her final show with Theatre Veritas. She has been in Hamlet, Cinderella, The Easter Project, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Wizard of Oz, Little Women, and now, The Sound of Music. Isabel hopes to continue doing theater in college and wants to thank Veritas, God, and her family for the constant love and support. Isabel hopes you enjoy the show!

This is Georgia Evans’s “Sister Berthe” fourth year with Theatre Veritas. You might recognize her as “Fenris Ulf” The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe or “Hannah” Little Women. She has also been in Hamlet, Cinderella, and the Wizard of Oz. She cannot wait and hopes you love the show!

Raina Maloney is a freshman who has taken part in the production of Little Women. She is enthusiastic for her role as Sister Margaretta in The Sound of Music, and hopes to see you on opening night!

Hannah Stage has been in multiple productions with Theatre Veritas including, Cinderella, Wizard of Oz, and Little Women. She is honored to be playing “Mother Abbess” in the Sound of Music and hope the audience enjoys.

Alaina Meyer is very excited about theater Veritas’ production of Rodgers and Hammersteins “The Sound of Music”. This is her fifth year participating in drama, as a sophomore, and she is thrilled to be singing in this musical as “sister Sophia”. Sit back, relax, and enjoy The Sound of Music!

Vincent Babcock is currently a senior attending Veritas Christian Academy. This year’s drama production marks his third and last year in Theatre Veritas. It has been one of the greatest experiences in his high school career and he is somber in the fact he will not be returning. However, he is more motivated than ever to create priceless memories and bring forth the best performance he can in this final year.

Jeremy Owen is a sophomore in Theatre Veritas. He has participated in drama in two other productions. In the last play, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, he was the sound manager in that play. He will be playing the character “Franz” in The Sound of Music, and he hopes you enjoy the show!

Abi Leigh is a junior who has participated in the productions of Hamlet, Cinderella, The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe, and Little Women. She is excited for her role as “Liesl” in The Sound of Music, and hopes to see you on opening night.

This is Lillian Wack’s fifth show with theater Veritas. In previous shows, she played the Unicorn in The lion the witch and the wardrobe, played multiple roles, but mostly as a featured dancer in the wizard of oz, and played Mary in little women. She is looking forward to this and hopes you will enjoy the show!

Tacy is in 7th grade at Veritas. This is her fourth production here at Theatre Veritas. She is playing “Louisa” in the sound of music. She feels blessed to be in another show here. She hopes you will enjoy the show!

This is Andrew Downing's first play with Theatre Veritas. He is playing Kurt in the sound of Music. He auditioned because the sound of music is one of his favorite old movies. Thank you for coming to Theatre Veritas’s production of the sound of music.

Jessie Sultenfuss is very excited to be in this spring’s performance, The Sound of Music. Jessie has been in past productions for Theatre Veritas, but she is most excited for this production specifically. In this musical, she will be performing as “Brigitta Von Trapp”, a 9 year old girl. Jessie hopes that you will enjoy the performance.

Avah is in 8th grade here at Veritas. This is Avah’s fourth show here at Theatre Veritas. She is playing Marta in The Sound of Music. She feels blessed to be in another show here, and she hopes you will enjoy the show!

Alice is a second grader who attends Veritas, but this is her first time performing in Theatre Veritas. She will be doing a split-performance with Hannah Zook as the beloved and cute little Gretl. She is excited to play in front of everyone and make them happy!

Hannah Zook is in second grade at Veritas Christian Academy, although this is her first time performing in Theatre Veritas. She, along with Alice Prechter, will be doing a split performance as the beloved and cute little Gretl. She is very happy to be playing and she hopes you enjoy the show!

Mason Wack is a sophomore returning for his second appearance on stage in The Sound of Music. He has been a part of Theatre Veritas for the past two productions, The Wizard of Oz and Little Women. In this musical, Mason will be playing the role of Rolf.

Mary Garcia is a senior at Veritas and has been a part of theater Veritas since 6th grade. She has been doing theater since she was five and this will be her 17th theater performance. The Sound of Music has been her favorite musical her whole life and was the first musical she was in when she played Marta at five years old. She hopes you enjoy the show!!

This is Aleigha’s third show in theatre Veritas. She was in Hamlet, Cinderella, and now, The Sound of Music. Her most notable role was ensemble. She is really excited to perform in The Sound of Music this year, it’s going to be her favorite one that she has done!

Cohen Taulbee is a student in the 10th grade of Veritas Christian Academy. He is very excited to be playing the role of “Max” in this production of The sound of Music. This is the first production he is participating in for Veritas. He has also played the roles of “Laurie” in Little Women, and “Flick” in A Christmas story under other theater organizations.

Carolyn Leigh is playing Herr Zeller in "The Sound of Music". She has been playing in Veritas drama since she first started school at Veritas and she plans on going all the way through until she leaves this year for college. This year she is a senior and is so excited to play Zeller in this performance, and she hopes everyone coming to see it will be just as excited. She has played in Hamlet, Cinderella, the Lion Witch and Wardrobe, the Wizard of Oz, and Little Women.

Elisabeth Moffitt has performed in Willy Wonka, A Christmas Carol, Oklahoma, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, Wizard of Oz, and will now The Sound of Music. Elisabeth is a senior, and has been at Veritas for 11 years. In this musical, Elisabeth will be playing “Frau Schmidt” and she hopes you enjoy the show!

This is John Dieterly’s first time performing with Theatre Veritas. He is a senior and plays the role of Admiral Von Schreiber. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Tessa Wack has been a student at Veritas Christian Academy for 11 years now and has attended Theatre Veritas for 4 years. She has acted in Shakespeare's Hamlet, Roger’s and Hammerstine’s Cinderella, Author’s The Wizard of Oz, and played Lucy in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. Earlier in the fall, she played Little Amy in Little Women. She is so excited to be a nun in this spring’s Sound of Music. Tessa hopes to see you come and enjoy our show and support Theatre Veritas.

Callie is thrilled to be a part of her 6th production with Theater Veritas. Some of Callie's favorite roles have been Marmee in “Little Women” and Mrs. Beaver in “The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe.” Callie enjoys acting outside of Veritas and during the summer months, she can often be found at The Academy Of The Arts in Greenville, SC studying theater and film. She hopes that you enjoy the show!

Ava is glad to be in The Sound of Music. She has been at Veritas two years and is a Sophomore. This is her fourth production at Veritas, her most recent one being Little Women. She hopes everyone enjoys the show.

Chris Bowyer is thrilled to be in Theatre Veritas’ production of The Sound of Music. This is Chris’s 3rd time acting in Theatre Veritas. He has been in the productions of The Wizard of Oz, as well as the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. He has never seen The Sound of Music before, but he is very excited to be performing it.

Lacy Burgess is in sixth grade. She has performed in many school activities, but this is her first musical. She has performed in other shows such as the Nutcracker and has also choreographed dance. She is the understudy for Marta and is very excited to be in this year’s musical, The Sound of Music.
