Ellen Schlecht (Ti Moune)
Ellen participates in Choir, 725 Chamber Group, Dance Team, and Salesianum School Theatre. Thank you to Jenny, Tori, Mr. Louden, Mr. Sonny Leo, Mrs. Atwater, Mr. Bogad, Shuana Goodman, and Jeffery Santoro. Without your help, guidance, passion, love, and inspiration- theatre would not be the same. Love to her family and friends. Remember that there is ALWAYS a reason to tell the story. #pennastrong
Whitney Grinnage-Cassidy (Agwe)
Whitney is a junior at Ursuline and is super excited for her first high school production! She is on the varsity basketball team, sings in the 725 Chapel Choir, and is a member of the TeenSHARP College Ambassadors Program. In her free time she loves to sing and play video games. Thank you to all her family and friends for supporting her!
Amina Hsi (Erzulie)
Amina is a sophomore at Ursuline Academy. She is a member of choir and the dance team. Her last theatrical production was "The Wizard of Oz", also here at Ursuline Academy. As well as participating in the arts, she plays volleyball year round. She sends love and thanks to her family and friends. Thank you to Tori, Mr. Louden, and Jenny for allowing her to spread the message of love through this fantastic musical.
Quinn Murphy (Asaka)
Quinn Murphy is ecstatic to be a part of this production of Once On This Island and thanks the company for their hard work. His only wish is that he had been with the company longer. Previous credits include: The Waiter (First Date, SST), Thénardier (Les Misérables, SST), Berowne (Love’s Labour’s Lost, SST), The Baker (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, DAST), Mrs. Bumbrake (Peter and the Starcatcher, SST), and Edna Turnblad (Hairspray, Streetlamp Productions).
Jack Krukiel (Papa Ge)
Jack Krukiel is a sophomore at Salesianum School and is excited to be a part of his second production with Ursuline Theater. He was recently seen in Evita (Ensemble) at Delaware All-State Theatre and First Date (Man #3) at Salesianum School. He would like to extend a special thanks to Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood.
Aidan O'Neill (Daniel Beauxhomme)
Aidan is incredibly grateful to be performing in his third and final production at UA. Aidan strives to use art to push for change, and he hopes that this ever contemporary story of inequality, of class, and ultimately of love touches you and moves you to action towards a just world. Telling this story with this amazing company and directing team has been a privilege, and he sends many thanks.
Katie Carrig (Andrea)
Katie is a junior at Ursuline Academy. This is her third show with Ursuline Theater and she is super excited to be taking on the role of Andrea! Katie is an avid reader and change-maker, who has recently participated in Dual School where she created her own organization: Repurposed Produce. In the theatre world- she has been most recently seen in The Salesianum School Theater's productions of "Les Miserables", "Anonymous Zebra", and "Love's Labour's Lost", as well as Ursuline Theater's productions of "The Sound of Music" and "Junie B. Jones: The Musical". Thank you to her dad for driving her to and from rehearsals and to Ellen's family for letting her crash at their place. Enjoy the show!
Joseph Rafalli (Armand)
Joseph Rafalli is proud to be in his first production at Ursuline Academy! He is so greatful and excited to be playing Armand! Past roles include Fauchelevant in Les Miserable and Harry MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie. He is a sophomore at Salesianum and is 15 years old.
Briarra Barnes (Mama Euralie)
Briarra Barnes is currently a tenth grader at Ursuline Academy and will be making her theatre debut in Once On This Island. Her hobbies include singing, reading, writing, and volunteering.
John Barton (Tonton Julian)
John Barton is a senior at Salesianum and is excited to play the role of Tonton Julian in Ursuline’s production of “Once On This Island.” He has most recently been seen in Delaware All-State Theatre’s production of “Evita,” and past favorite roles include Lurch in Padua Academy’s production of “The Addams Family” and Bishop Myriel in Salesianum’s production of “Les Misérables.” He would like to thank his parents for always supporting him, as well as his fellow story-tellers.
Nicole Boatright (Little TiMoune/Little Girl)
Nicole is in 3rd grade at Ursuline Academy. This is Nicole’s first production with Ursuline Theater. Besides singing, Nicole enjoys dancing, playing with classmates and family time. Thank you Mr. Louden, Tori and Jenny for allowing her to be a part of this amazing production.
Madison Kerley (Storyteller/Dance Captain)
Madison is in the ensemble in Once On This Island and is one of the dance captains. She was seen as Sour Kangaroo in the Seussical Jr, and Sr. Margaretta in The Sound of Music. She currently plays in the percussion section of the Wind Ensemble and is in the choir. Madison has been dancing since she was three years old and is currently taking multiple ballet and pointe classes.
Grace Smith (Storyteller)
Grace came to Ursuline in the fifth grade, and has been involved in many Ursuline activities since. She danced her way down the Yellow Brick Road as the Tin Man in the 8th grade play, and sang in the choir last year as a freshman. She is active in math league and many clubs and recently traveled to Ecuador for service work. As a student athlete, Grace has participated in swimming and tennis, but Once on This Island is her first experience with Ursuline Theater. She has had an amazing experience with this new endeavor!
Bridget Lugg (Storyteller/Dance Captain)
Bridget Lugg is so excited to be in her 4th Ursuline Musical. She has previously preformed in shows at St. Edmond’s Academy, Shoestring Productions, Anna Marie Dance Studio, Wilmington Drama League, and is currently in Ursuline’s 725 Choir. She would like to thank Mr. Louden, Ms. Tori, Ms. Jenny and the rest of the cast for all their dedication and hard work!
Izzy Coupe (Storyteller)
Izzy Coupe is a freshman at Ursuline this year. She has been at Ursuline since she was three years old and enjoys participating in the plays at UA. Izzy has been in Charlie Brown the musical, Junie B.Jones, The Sound of Music, and this years play, Once on this Island. When she isn’t busy with school, she enjoys reading, writing, drawing, and hanging out with her friends.
Brighid Deely (Storyteller)
Brighid is thrilled to be in her fourth UA production follwoing her role last spring as small Alice in the eighth-grade production of Alice in Wonderland. In the past she was Sister Angela in The Sound of Music and Lucille in Junie B Jones the Musical. She is currently involved in chorus as a soprano. In addition to the play she is involved in cross country, swimming, and track. Thank you to Ms. Tori, Ms. Jenny, Mr. Louden, and the whole cast and crew of Once on This Island.
Michael Ignudo (Storyteller)
Michael Ignudo is very excited to be a part of ​Once on this Island​. He has seen the musical twice on Broadway and it amazed him each time. This is his first ever show at Ursuline academy. He has been in 2 plays at Salesianum as a freshman and had the role of Jafar in Aladdin Junior at St Anns's School. He really likes the cast of Once on this Island. He can’t wait to perform with them on show night. It is a true pleasure working with these smart and talented people.
Maggie Lober (Storyteller)
Maggie Lober is an incoming Freshmen at Ursuline this year. She started at UA in 7th grade, and has been in Junie B. Jones The Musical, The Sound of Music, Alice in Wonderland Jr., and now Once On This Island. In her free time, she likes to read, listen to music (mostly Hamilton), play sports, and hang out with her friends. She also enjoys playing the baritone, singing, and theatre.
Sarah Saville (Storyteller)
Sarah is so excited to be a member of this amazing production of Once on This Island. Sarah has been most recently seen in Guys and Dolls at Clear Space Theatre, and on the UA stage in The Sound of Music. Sarah would like to thank Mr. Louden, Ms. Tori, and Ms. Jenny for their hard work and dedication to UA theater. She is excited to spend the next four years doing theater on the UA stage. Thank you Mom and Dad for your love and support.
Drew Tisdel (Storyteller)
This is Drew Tisdel’s first high school production. Drew has previously been in Guys and Dolls, Once Upon a Mattress, Seussical, and Beauty and the Beast Jr. at St. Edmonds Academy. Along with acting, Drew likes dogs, exploring, and going to fun places with his friends. Drew would like to thank Mr. Louden, Ms. Tori, Ms. Jenny, all his cast mates, and the stage crew.
