Urinetown the Musical Cast
Nate Woodroof (Officer Lockstock)Nate Woodroof is excited to be working with Untitled and is grateful for the opportunity to portray such a villainous and bass-y role. Favorite past roles include Frank Cioffi in "Curtains!" (Third House Arts), Paul in "Moon over Buffalo" and Lancelot in "Spamalot" (Funky Little Theater), Jack/Ernest in the "Importance of Being Earnest" and Fagin in "Oliver!" (Village Arts). Nate has also worked tech and stage-managed various productions in the past and has directed numerous high school and junior high productions. When he is not working in the theatre, Nate enjoys delighting (occasionally reluctant) high schoolers with his math knowledge.
Kati Jurgens (Little Sally)Kati is a software engineer by day, but is constantly performing outside of work. She is excited to play this precocious little girl in her second production with Untitled Theatre Company! Doing "Carrie" (Freida) last year was one of her favorite shows she’s ever done and this production of Urinetown has also now joined that list. Some previous credits: "Footloose" (Urleen), "Into the Woods" (Baker’s Wife), and "The Addams Family" (Wednesday Addams). She is thankful to everyone who has supported her throughout this process and hopes you enjoy the show!
Ren Prescott (Bobby Strong)Ren J. Prescott (they/them) is thrilled to be apart of "Urinetown the Musical", alongside this amazing cast, crew, and creative team! They have previously stepped into such roles as Baby John ("West Side Story"), Lumiere ("Beauty & the Beast"), and Boy/Peter ("Peter and the Starcatcher"), and Christmas Present ("VHS Christmas Carol"). They hope with all their heart that the show provides you a load of giggles, guffaws, and [GASPS]. Thank you for coming!
Iris Pixler (Hope Cladwell)Iris Pixler (she/her) could not be more pleased to welcome you to Urinetown. Some of her previous credits include: Jane Doe in Theatre Workshop’s Ride the Cyclone, Norma in Untitled Theatre Company’s Carrie, and Sophie in Legendary Theatre Company’s Mamma Mia. She serves on the executive board of Theatre Workshop at Colorado College, where she majors in Political Science and minors in Mathematics. She would like to thank Steven, Celia, Yelena, and Alaina for this opportunity; the cast and crew for making this a wonderful experience; and Donna, Wynter, and Owen Pixler for their endless love and support.
Kyle Wilson (Caldwell B. Cladwell)Kyle Wilson (he/him) is thrilled to be making his debut with Untitled Theatre Company and to collaborate with such a talented cast and creative team. He has especially enjoyed diving into the “Jekyll & Hyde” duality of this role. Kyle’s previous stage credits include "Guys and Dolls" (Nathan Detroit), "The Wizard of Oz" (Cowardly Lion), and "White Christmas" (Ezekial Foster). Outside of the theater, he enjoys traveling with his family. Kyle would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to his wife for her unwavering support of his passion for community theater.
Sally Modzelewski (Penelope Pennywise)Sally Modzelewski (she/her) is delighted to be a part of her first production in Colorado, and in one of her favorite shows! Previously, she has been a part of productions in Seattle and Cincinnati, including "Ordinary Days" (Claire U/S), "Children of Eden" (Snake/ Storyteller), "Jane Eyre: A Musical Drama" (Scatcherd/ Mrs. Dent/ Ensemble), and "The Sound of Music" (Sister Sophia). This production is dedicated to Sierra, who believes Sally could do anything, and for them, she will. Enjoy the show!
David Shelden (Senator Fipp)David Shelden is the owner of Shelden Entertainment - an entertainment, talent booking, and event planning business. David also has over two decades of performance and directing experience. New to the Springs area, David can often be found rehearsing and performing with the community theatres in town. When not called, David enjoys spending his time raising his daughters, Avery and Paisley.
Benjamin Satko (Mr. McQueen, u/s Bobby Strong)Benjamin Satko is delighted to be making his Untitled Theatre Company debut with "Urinetown!" In recent years, his notable roles have included Paul in "The Guy Who Didn’t Like Musicals", King Arthur in "Spamalot", and Harold in "Harold & Maude". Additionally, he’s had four of his original plays produced. When offstage, Ben writes disturbing stories, makes scrumptious waffle cones, uses pretentious words like “scrumptious,” and composes angsty banjo music. He is incredibly grateful to Stephen (as well as the entire cast and production team) for this wonderful experience! Romans 8:39
Jane Gargett (Officer Barrel)Jane Gargett (she/her) is thrilled to be onstage with Untitled and the amazing cast of "Urinetown"! Last seen as Jenny in "Curtains" (Third House), Jane has spent more time behind the curtain directing in the past few years. She’s so thankful to Stephen for letting her swap places and just have fun! Favorite past roles include Rita ("Lucky Stiff"), Ida ("Honk!"), Mama Euralie ("Once On This Island"); Lucy ("You're a Good Man. Charlie Brown"), Little Red ("Into the Woods"), Babette ("Beauty and the Beast"), Swing ("Rent"), Player 5 ("Nevermore: The imaginary Life and Mysterious Death of Edgar Allan Poe") and Narrator ("Joseph...Dreamcoat"). Nora Faircloth (Josephine "Ma" Strong, u/s Penelope Pennywise)Nora Faircloth is the CEO of Faircloth Manor and enjoys playing the mom on and off stage. She is delighted to add "Urinetown" to her other local credits: "I Remember Mama" (Mama), "Mousetrap" (Mrs. Boyle), "Lucky Stiff" (Rita LaPorta), The "Wizard of Oz" (Wicked Witch) as well as many other ensemble roles. Joshua Adamson (Joseph "Old Man" Strong/Hot Blades Harry, u/s Officer Lockstock)Joshua Adamson (he/him) is thrilled to be making his debut with this company in such a spirited and satirical production. An ASU English major finishing his final semester, Josh’s regional favorites include "Once Upon a Mattress" (ACT), "Assassins" (SoL), and "The Rocky Horror Show" (VVTC). Other credits include "The Cottage", "Bright Star", and "Silent Sky" with Sopris Theatre Company. Josh is profoundly grateful for his mother, his best friend, his roommates, and this talented company. He couldn't do it without them—or you! Thanks for paying the fee to see the show!
Laura Colcernian (Little Becky Two-Shoes/Cladwell's Secretary, u/s Little Sally)Laura Colcernian (she/her) is so happy to be back for her second Untitled Theatre Company production, and is thrilled to be on stage as Little Becky Two-Shoes. Laura is a middle school literature teacher who is so thankful to have rediscovered her love for theatre. Previous credits include The Wicked Witch in "Shrek the Musical" (Third House Arts), Sue Snell in "Carrie the Musical" (Untitled), and Donna in "Mamma Mia" (Regis University). Laura would like to give a big shout out to the best friends and family in the world. She hopes everyone enjoys the show, and that the line for the bathroom isn’t too long at intermission….
Christopher Dong (Tiny Tom/Dr. Billeaux, u/s Senator Fipp)Christopher Dong is brighter than his character Tiny Tom...but not by much. Normally this would mark the end of his biography, but as "Urinetown" is his last show in Colorado, he would like to thank everyone involved for making these final performances such a great and memorable experience that he will take with him wherever he goes!
Aly Cottrell (Soupy Sue, u/s Officer Barrel, Little Becky Two-Shoes)Aly Cottrell (she/her) is excited to be taking the stage with Untitled again. Her favorite roles include Ilona ("She Loves Me"), Glinda ("The Wizard of Oz"), Heidi ("[title of show]") and Spider ("James and the Giant Peach"). Luke Steiner (Billy Boy Bill)Luke Steiner (he/him) is a college student and actor from Colorado Springs. He has been an avid participant in the Colorado Springs theatre community for the last 5 years and has had such roles as Jack Kelly ("Newsies") and Professor Bhaer ("Little Women"). He is so excited to be a part of this amazing cast!
Samantha Dahnke (Robby the Stockfish/UGC Executive #2, u/s Hope Cladwell)Samantha Dahnke (she/her) is a licensed therapist in Colorado who loves expressing herself through art! Previous credits include "She Loves Me" (Amalia), "Into the Woods" (Bakers Wife), "Mamma Mia" (Lisa) "Sister Act" (Tina), "The Sound of Music" (Maria/Ensemble), "Cinderella" (Ensemble), and "VHS Christmas Carol" (Belle). She would like to thank her husband, Connor. for being her greatest advocate and love of her life, and all her friends and family for their constant love and support! Melissa Ochs (Mrs. Millenium/Ensemble, u/s Josephine Strong)Melissa Ochs has always enjoyed the dramatic, acting and producing shows since she was young. Locally, Melissa was in First Company’s "A Christmas Carol: A Live Radio Play". Before moving to the Springs, she was a member of Greeley Stampede Troupe, acting or assisting production in every show over the last 4 years. ("The Roy Orbison Experience", "The Music Man", "Scrooge! The Musical", "Leading Ladies", and more.) She also performed with Windsor Community Playhouse, and Fort Collins Children’s Theater. Melissa is happy to have found a great theater community and wants to thank the production team, her castmates, and family and friends for their support.
Chloé Barnes (Ensemble, u/s Robby the Stockfish, Billy Boy Bill)Chloé Barnes (she/her) is excited to be a part of this production. She is a junior at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, where she studies Criminal Justice. Previous credits include Logainne SchwartzandGrubenierre in "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" (Sasquatch Productions) Veronica/Female Swing in "Carrie the Musical" (Untitled Theater Company) and Lizzie Therman/Gretchen u/s in "Mean Girls" (Golden Ticket Theater). She is grateful to the cast, crew, and creative team for this wonderful opportunity.
Cori Martin (Ensemble, u/s Soupy Sue)Cori Martin (They/Them) is thrilled to be in Urinetown! This is one of their favorite musicals, so getting to be a part of it is an experience like no other! Other productions include, Six: Teen Edition, Between the Lines, Ride the Cyclone, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and The Nerd. Cori would like to thank their cast and crew for being such a wonderful team to collaborate and their parents and friends for all of their support.
Jordan Grimm (Ensemble, u/s Tiny Tom)Jordan Grimm (she/her) is a substitute preschool teacher, and when she’s not at work or rehearsal, she spends her time reading with her cat or sewing. This production is her first step into adult theatre. Some of her favorite productions she’s been a part of include "The Music Man", "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Newsies", and she also co-choreographed "Something Rotten Jr".
