Miss Holmes Cast

Faith Artis (Sherlock Holmes)
Faith Artis is a Third-year grad school student who started doing theatre when she was a young girl. She has always dreamt of acting and is so grateful to still be doing what she loves. She specializes in improvisation and solo performance. Her past credits include Avenue Q (Gary Coleman), Fairview (Keisha), Gloria (Lorin). She earned a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Rollins College as a Priscilla L. Parker Scholar and hopes to use the knowledge she gathers from UofL to perform and eventually teach later in her career.
Skylar Swalls (Dorothy Watson)
Skylar Swalls (Junior) is a theatrical jack of all trades based in Louisville, KY. She began her journey in theatre as an actor and singer. She has recently began specializing in scenic painting in addition to performance, and also has experience in carpentry, stage management, choreographing, costuming, house management, merchandising, and arts administration. In addition to playing Dr. Watson, Skylar was the Paint Charge for this show, designed the program you are reading right now, and designed the show’s merchandise (which you should totally buy). This is definitely the closest she will ever be to becoming a doctor, and she hopes you enjoy her first and only time confidently throwing around medical slang. 
Aneesha Edwards (Elizabeth Garrett Anderson)
Aneesha (she/her) is thrilled to reunite with the UofL Theatre Department! Her love of the performing arts has followed her through her school career where she played various instruments and joined the drama clubs at both Tates Creek Middle and High Schools in Lexington, KY , in which she received an Outstanding Performance award. You may have seen her in recent UofL Theatre productions as Sarah S. (Afromemory), Marcy Park (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and Lilith/Lilly (She Kills Monsters). Although she is pursuing a Bachelor’s in Psychology and Spanish, you will often find her onstage.
Audrey MacNeil (Lizzie Chapman)
Audrey MacNeil (she/her) is a first-year MFA Performance student at the University of Louisville. She graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a BFA in Acting. She also studied Acting and Directing at the National Theatre Institute. In between then and now she has performed and directed at several theatres across the country. Audrey's most recent credits include directing Snow College's Mainstage production of Twelfth Night in Utah and teaching advanced improvised comedy theory at Stomping Ground Comedy Theater in Dallas Texas. Audrey's greatest acting goal is to play every Shakespearean Fool in the cannon! Audrey is beyond grateful to be at U of L and is so excited to be a part of such a great artistic community here in Louisville! Andrea Haskett (Eudora Featherstone)
Andrea Haskett (she/her) is thrilled to be part of the Miss Holmes production. She is originally from the Pacific Northwest and graduated from Boise State University with a BS in Chemistry. She is a first-year student in the MFA program. A few recent roles include Mrs. Forrest (Pyscho Beach Party), Nurse (Medea), and Abby (Now and Then). She’s grateful for her husband’s continued support.
Ian Bischoff (Mrs. Hudson)
Ian Bischoff is an undergraduate Theatre Arts major. This is his second show here at UofL, the first being Much Ado About Nothing (Spring 2024). He is also the head carpenter for Miss Holmes. Ian is thankful to be a part of this experience and of all that helped put on this show.
Mya Lache (Peggy)
Mya Lache is a sophomore undergraduate student majoring in theatre with a minor in English creative writing. She is so thankful to be a student in the theatre department. Miss Holmes is Lache’s first college play, and she is excited to work with this incredible Department to bring this wonderful story and world to life. She wants to thank her wonderful castmate, Jennifer Pennington her amazing director and professor. She also wants to thank everyone who is working and collaborating on Miss Holmes. She is grateful to her family, friends, and High school teachers for their support and love! She wants to send her love out to everyone in the audience!
Dylan Fisher (Geoffrey Lestrade)
Dylan Fisher is a first year MFA student. Dylan is a music educator, actor, singer and director hailing from Eastern North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Music with a concentration in Musical Theatre from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. Dylan's stage credits include roles such as Jud Fry (Oklahoma!), Noah Curry (110 in the Shade) Zangara (Assassins) Duke Senior (As You Like It )(Taub), The Wizard (The Wiz))and Teen Angel (Grease). His director credits include The Night the Reindeer Rocked and The Lion King Kids.
Felix Rogers (Michael Stamford)
Felix Rogers is excited to make his debut in Miss Holmes. Currently a Freshman at the University of Louisville, Felix is glad to join a vibrant and accepting theatre community. He would like to thank the cast and crew for their support, and the department for this incredible opportunity. Enjoy the show!
Zye Reid (Mycroft Holmes)
Zye Reid is a second year MFA Performance student at the University of Louisville. He was seen previously in UofL productions as Miles in She Kills Monsters, and Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing. Other credits include Mr. Hawkins in The Prom, Ben in the Stephen Foster Story, and Jamal in Escape to Margaritaville. Huge thanks to his family and his wife for their endless support!
MichaelJoseph Barber (Thomas Chapman)
MichaelJoseph Barber, born in New Orleans, Louisiana and educated at Jackson State University where he earned his Bachelors in Speech with a concentration in Theatre. His stage credits includes Eurydice, Talk to me Like the Rain, Fetch Clay, Make Man and Hoodoo Love, to name a few.
Davey Ottino (Edwin Greener)
Davey Ottino is a Computer Science Major and a Theatre Minor here in Louisville. Last year, they got to play Don Jon from Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing. This year, they are excited to show the audience their Edwin Greener from Christopher Walsh's Miss Holmes. Theatre has always been Davey's passion, whether acting on stage or configuring the stage itself. Davey works as an electrician for the UofL Theatre as part of their Theatre Scholarship. Many of the lights in the show have been worked on by Davey. Enjoy the Show!
Elliot Meadows (Reginald Featherstone)
Elliot Meadows is a sophomore Theatre Arts major. In addition to acting in this show, he was assistant scenic charge. His other passions include directing, singing, and doing the splits. He hopes you enjoy Miss Holmes and continue to support our Theatre Department.
Ross Just (Superintendent/Londoner)
Ross Just is a senior at UofL and is an actor and playwright. He was previously in UofL's productions of Much Ado about Nothing as Antonio/Borachio, Gem of the Ocean as Selig Understudy and Assistant Stage Manager, and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee as Leaf Coneybear. Ross, despite his appearance in the show, is definitely not a mad scientist hellbent on destroying mankind.
Charles Vincent (Orderly/Vagrant/Londoner)
rles is very excited to be in this production of Miss Holmes, this is his first show with University of Louisville. He is very involved in the local film industry and is excited to step onto the stage.
Derek Monroy (Orderly/Londoner)
Soaring down from the Chicagoland Area, Derek Monroy is ready to debut in Miss Holmes! His performance experience includes well over a decade of plays and musicals at Potters House Oaklawn. After being in the UofL Theatre Department for almost a year, he would like to thank the cast and crew for making this steampunk world a reality at the Thrust theatre.
