Union County Playmakers

Mission & History

Our theatre is a beloved cultural hub for both locals and visitors alike. Founded in 2012, our mission is to provide a platform for artists and performers to share their talent with the community and to bring the joy of live performance to our region. We are proud to showcase a diverse range of productions, from classic plays and musicals to original works and modern interpretations. Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to bring these productions to life and to make sure that every performance is a memorable and enjoyable experience. We hope to see you at one of our shows soon!

LEADERSHIP

Effective leadership is crucial for any community theater group, and this includes the board of directors. The Union County Playmakers board is made up of individuals who are committed to the organization’s mission and have the skills and experience to guide it towards success.

This group sets strategic goals, develop policies and procedures, and makes decisions that benefit the organization and the community.  Additionally, the board of directors plays a role in fundraising efforts and community outreach, helping to build support and awareness for the theater’s productions and activities.
