About Slow and Steady
It's been 100 years since the famous Tortoise and the Hare race took place in a modest corner of the woods known as Mushy Meadows. So Connie the Squirrel wants to bring a little fun to the animals who live there and throw a commemorative festival - but she underestimates the amount of resistance she faces. A Turkey who thinks he's an Owl objects to the disruption to peaceful Mushy Meadows, the great grandson of the famed Hare is mortified about his ancestor's humiliating loss to the pokey tortoise, and Talko the Turtle, in top physical shape, is way to speedy herself to make it possible for anyone to beat her in the race re-enactment. Add to that a mysterious fox who shows up out of nowhere, a Possum and Armadillo who want to put on their own little play for the festival, and a Bull/Conman and his raccoon sidekick who want to fleece the inhabitants of Mushy Meadows and take their homes for his own personal gain, and you have yourself an entertaining little play. Action, music, suspense and a whole lot of laffs adds up to a fun filled 80 minutes for the entire family.
