Director and Set Designer
Ben SpurlockBen Spurlock earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Theater and Education from Middle Tennessee State University in 2020. Since joining Tullahoma High School as the Theater Director in 2021, he has directed seven productions, each highlighting the dedication and talent of his students. He is honored to be part of the Tullahoma High School community and takes great pride in the growth and development of the theater program. Mr. Spurlock is grateful for the unwavering support of the students, faculty, families, and community members who make these productions possible.

Music Director
Melissa HindsA Crossville native, Melissa Hinds has dedicated her career to music education. She holds degrees from Tennessee Technological University, the University of Southern Mississippi, and Florida State University in Instrumental and Vocal Music Education, as well as Choral Conducting. With a background in piano, violin, and voice, she has studied under esteemed musicians and conductors. Ms. Hinds built a thriving choral program at White County High School and currently serves as the Director of Choral Activities at Tullahoma High School. She is also the President of the Children of Crossville Chamber Orchestra and a faculty member at Motlow State. A sought-after clinician and guest conductor, she is passionate about empowering singers through music literacy.

Choreographer
Kristen CarrollKristen Carroll has been dancing since she could walk and has shared that life long love by teaching, choreographing and judging all over the country over the last 18 years. Her favorite place to create however is at home in Tullahoma. From The Dance Company to THS and South Jackson, she has been involved in theater favorites such as Legally Blonde, Little Mermaid, Addams Family, Grease and White Christmas. Kristen is thrilled to be on another adventure with the cast of Mama Mia, and is grateful to Mr. Spurlock and Ms. Hinds for bringing her along for another ride!

Scenic Drafter
Matthew PhillipsMatthew Phillips is a versatile theater professional with expertise in lighting, video, sound, scenic construction, and technical management. Since beginning his freelance career in 2018, he has worked in New York, Las Vegas, and Nashville, as well as internationally installing solar panels in Guatemala.
As a Technical Manager, Matthew oversees budgets, schedules, and productions while mentoring others. Dedicated to professional growth, he stays current with industry advancements. He also holds an MBA, enhancing his ability to navigate the business side of production and thrive in dynamic environments.

Stage Manager
Richa PatelRicha is a senior at Tullahoma High School. This is their last show with the THS Theatre Program. They have been a stage manager ever since freshman year and has been a great help. Richa has also directed a one act play during the fall semester while Mr. Spurlock was on paternity leave. They love theatre and hopes to do more in college.

Ava DuncanAva Duncan, Junior in high school, has been in theater since sophomore year and is also in band.

Lilee OwensLileeAna is a senior and this is her final performance at THS. She has been in a few productions in and out of the high school. Lilee likes reading, crafting, cosplaying, listening to music, and spending time with her friends.

Harper EllisHarper Ellis is a recent addition to the Tullahoma High School theater department, joining after transferring and taking Theater 2. A perfectionist to a sometimes terrifying degree, she brings meticulous detail to every set and prop she touches. If something is even slightly out of place, she *will* notice—and fix it before anyone else blinks.

Rigs EppesAshtyn Eppes is a dedicated individual who has found her place in the world of theater. Currently a freshman in high school, Ashtyn is making her mark behind the scenes as a valuable member of the crew for the Alice in Wonderland musical

Peyton PinegarPeyton Pinegar is a sophomore at THS and is a member of the THS Chamber Singers and Women’s Chorale. She is also apart of the THS Colorguard. This is Peyton’s first year doing crew for theatre. She is very excited to join her friends in her first production and hopes to do more in the future.

Addyson BaileyAddayson Bailey is a sophomore at THS and is apart of the THS band, along with placing third chair concert band this year. This is her first year doing crew for theatre. She is excited for the production of Mamma Mia and hopes to help more in the future.
